How Do You Treat Salmonella Poisoning from the Sunland Peanut Products Recall Naturally?

October 17th, 2012

The FDA’s List of Sunland’s peanut products Recall due to Salmonella contamination continues to expand to 400 products sold by dozens of companies. While only 35 people in 19 states have been identified to be sick from these peanut products, there exists the potential for many more cases unless the consumer carefully watches for all the possible products that used the peanuts from the Sunland manufacturing facility that is responsible for the health scare.

Here’s a List of the companies and peanut products from the FDA’s website, so you can check to see if you have purchased any of the problematic brands:

The FDA List of Sunland Peanut Products Contaminated with Salmonella

How do you treat Salmonella naturally?

If you are unable to go to a doctor, clinic, or other medical facility when you exhibit the symptoms of the illness; then there are several methods for natural treatments.

GSE mixed with purified water will kill Salmonella on contact. You can drink this mixture, wipe surfaces and containers off using this liquid and a cloth, and you can rinse or soak raw peanuts out of the shell in the GSE mixture for several minutes giving it time to destroy the pathogens.

Raw peanuts sold in stores are also included in the List now, so be careful when purchasing nuts in bulk. Peanuts are notorious for harboring mold which will also be eliminated when using the GSE mixture properly.

You can also use liquid colloidal or ionic silver to kill Salmonella, but it must come into direct contact with the pathogen to be effective.

It helps to take garlic, onion, oregano, thyme, lemon, vinegar, cinnamon, clove, and other natural whole foods and spices that are known to be capable of conquering a Salmonella infection. You can also use the Essential Oils of Oregano, Clove, Thyme, and Lemon.

If you have a Rife machine, you can use the 2025 setting as well as a few other frequencies that have been demonstrated to kill the pathogen. Vitamin C will resonate at the same frequencies, but it must be unaltered from it’s natural state from a whole food source to be effective.

If you must take medication for a Salmonella infection, follow the therapy with a good high quality yogurt or kefir. Miso soup will soothe and benefit the digestive system as will kudzu root pudding or gravy. I have given the method and recipe for making this in previous posts here on this blog for your convenience.

Be sure to strengthen your Immune System afterwards with Chines Herbal Formulas to prevent or better cope with future exposure to any pathogen or disease.

The best bet for avoiding contamination of your nut butters and nuts and products which contain nuts is to buy a Champion Juicer with an attachment which is designed to make your own grind or nut butter. It’s fun and relatively inexpensive in the long run to make these items at home where you are in control of your environment. You can clean your kitchen work areas with the GSE mixture, instead of using chemicals like bleach or harsh commercial products.

There are a number of excellent alternatives to peanut butter. Cashews, almonds, sesame seeds, and macadamia nuts make delicious choices.

The Difference Between Good and Bad: The DoctorsTV Opinion Shifts With Research and Clinical Experience – Does Yours Change as Easily?

October 16th, 2012

Most doctors are expected to follow the guidance of the governing body that issues their licenses, instead of thinking for themselves or drawing from their own experience.

You may well benefit from knowledgeable physicians and healthcare providers who specialize in your area of interest.

Dr. Travis seemed willing to waiver between good and bad judgments about e-cigarettes, supplements, and other things he addressed on today’s show. The audience members had excellent comments from their personal experience that can change a doctor’s mind regardless of research or training associated with the limitations of his license.

One brand of e-cigarette or nutritional supplement may vary greatly from another brand or manufacturer just like compounding pharmacies vary in quality control as evidenced by the recent meningitis fungal issue in the News. Not all are created nor operate equally…

So…who do you trust?

However, here is one website where you can safely and assuredly order quality health products without trepidation: Herbal Remedies

Coffee varies widely in terms of where it is grown, the conditions of the soil, the weather, the water it receives as a plant, the seed stock, the way it is handled in the store, and the processing of the beans. Drink the best coffee you can afford, perhaps a fair-trade organic shade-grown varietal for the ‘health’ of it. What you add to your coffee is almost as important as the coffee itself, so use natural sweeteners and a healthy creamer like coconut milk.

Keep an open mind and look at all aspects of these topics and products before dismissing or embracing them. Seek out assistance with experienced professionals. Best yet – use the EAV equipment to know for certain how any product will affect you.

For instance, a few months ago, I dismissed the value of Jusuru and now that I have more carefully investigated the product and clinical research; I am now going to take the product myself and market the products to other professionals and those who treasure a healthy lifestyle.

I changed my mind – and you may find this product line beneficial for bone, joint, and cartilage health as well as wound healing, skin care, and mood management. It apparently benefits the eyes from the experiences of those who drink the juice regularly and appears to replenish all tissue in addition to rehydration of synovial fluid, cerebral-spinal fluid, and other bodily fluids like tears and blood.

Visit my Professional Company website to learn more, order the product, or enroll to purchase the product at wholesale prices:

The Doctors Tackle Topics of Arsenic Poisoning and Gluten Free Foods Today

September 27th, 2012

The doctors on TheDoctorsTV talked about arsenic and brown rice today, but they lost the chance to make a point of arsenic in agricultural water or the soil being the source of the problem, not the brown rice itself.

White rice loses many nutrients and possibly some of the arsenic, but brown rice grown in good soil with good water is ideal for a healthy diet.

You cannot throw out the baby brown rice with the arsenic bath water! Duh!

Eat organic and tested brown rice from reputable companies and avoid white rice altogether…

Use Liquid Zeolite to detox any arsenic.

Dr. Oz discussed gluten free foods as well as symptoms of gluten sensitivity this afternoon.

Doctor Oz and Gluten Free Foods

He and his experts are on the right track. However, Dr. Oz needs to worry more about people taking the time to spend in the kitchen preparing gluten free foods, rather than being so concerned about the integrity of companies selling gluten free food items, Shop at health food stores like WholeFoods Markets instead of the regular grocery store to find the company products that are healthier for you. It matters!

Dr. Oz and Snacks on the Run

May 30th, 2012

Dr. Oz was preempted on my local channel, but I can discuss the relevance of the snacks and teas he has on the website for today.

The good doctor seems to think that everyone is on the run, busy moving through their days without time to eat a complete meal.

So snacks must do the job of a meal as you become a grazer.

Here are the Oz recommendations for sweet and salty snacks:

BBQ Sauces for Memorial Day Grilling Adventures: Healthy Hot and Spicy

May 27th, 2012

This is one of those long weekends with Memorial Day giving you some extra time to get in a BBQ or two with family, friends, and community neighbors.

But you have such a large selection of BBQ sauces to choose from; how do you decide which sauce is going to make your BBQ memorable and healthy?

Most of us won’t cater to everyone’s individual taste, but I would go where there were 10 different sauces to apply to my food rather than an event with only one choice.

Here is a List compiled of some of the more notable BBQ sauces on the market that show off regional ingredients and taste preferences.

List of BBQ Sauces That Stand Out

From honey and molasses as sweeteners, from chipotle to ghost peppers for heat, from vine-ripe tomato to ketchup for a base, from apple cider vinegar to mustard for tang, from garlic to cayenne to secret spice blends for flavor; each of these sauces has something different to offer your taste buds.

There is only sauce from this List that is healthy enough for me: the Spice Goddess Gluten-Free BBQ Sauce!

Of, course, this List is incomplete. There are literally thousands of sauces bottled and sold for marinating and glazing your choice of beef, pork, chicken, turkey, fish, or tofu at your BBQ. When you shop at a Whole Foods Market, there is an aisle with plenty of selections that are as healthy as they are tasty!

The thing that makes me laugh and smile about BBQ Sauces are the wild names people come up with for their small-batch regional recipes. The name alone can conjure up a sensation of eternal fire raging in your mouth or a gentler sweetness with a promise of pure pleasure.

Although most people want to have a slab of meat to carry their sauce, there are other foods that are fantastic with BBQ sauce. My favorite is tofu. I love a good glaze on salmon! I have applied it to tempeh, garden burgers, potatoes, greens, and vegetable dishes. I love BBQ!

Ideally, you can try out a number of regional and brand name sauces and learn which flavor profiles most appeal to you. Then you can craft your own recipe and bottle it for yourself, friends, and neighbors.

Whatever floats your boat, find a few healthy sauces and choose a healthy food to apply plenty of sauce to and you will savor the BBQ moments this holiday weekend.

Make Your Kitchen a Dr. Oz Microwave Free Zone

May 26th, 2012

Some doctors have not gotten the message that microwaving food and beverages is not healthy for humans. The microwave can be used to heat up food, but it needs to be an appliance that is used in moderation.

Dr. Oz has a five day List of fast foods that can be heated in the microwave in case you have little time or skill in the kitchen.

The suggestions range from lasagna to fish sticks, burritos to
