What’s in that Can? Botulinum with Green Beans!
It’s happened yet again…another food Recall. This time, it’s Lakeside canned green beans with potential botulism as the health risk for this week. 15,000 cases of canned green beans are being recalled.
Where exactly IS the “Quality Control” that is supposed to be in place for production of common food items that we expect from these companies? They need to be held accountable before the foods get to store shelves as well as after a problem is found and a Recall becomes a necessity.
We have learned a harsh lesson from the Chinese who don’t care, so they are blacklisted from now on. We will only buy proven TCM herbal formulations from China that have been demonstrated to be self-monitoring by the growers and herbal Masters. Other manufacturers are ‘On Notice” that consumers are watching and waiting to see how they will rise to regain our trust and confidence in the future.
At this time, only Certified Organic cans of food will grace my pantry!
