First of all they all had fun with the glow sticks of every sort while warning about toxicity if they brake.

Then Dr. Travis showed the audience how to use duck tape to dispose of broken bulbs with mercury using his hot pink gloves that made Dr. Lisa salivate.

The whole hour kept Dr. Drew smiling and everyone in a ‘light’ mood. Speaking of light, the best way to get kids used to going to sleep without a nightlight was revealed with the dayglow stars on the ceiling.

However, I used to take my kids outside and then inside and sit with them in the dark until their eyes adjusted and they fund out that they could see some things – even in subdued light in the darkness.

I often saw entities at night, but could not speak of it with my parents, so I insisted on teaching my own children what was what and who was who and what could and could not happen in the thick of the night. No sleeping problems when you do know…

The most relevant idea was to remind people that they need to spend time letting their eyes adjust when they come into a building from outdoors in the bright sun. The rods and cones of the eyes play key roles in differentiating between black/white and color.

Be patient and let your body do what it knows how to do in any amount of light…the brain will perform beautifully.
