TheDoctorsTV and the Way to Ruin a Good Turkey Meatball

I am only going to comment about one segment on today’s episode of TheDoctorsTV, because I love turkey and I love meatballs!

However, if you want to ruin a good turkey meatball, just follow the doctor’s lead when they sampled the turkey meatball pizza that an audience member makes for her children to attempt to get them to eat healthier dishes. What a travesty! Don’t do it…

The woman who was supposed to help the mom make a healthier meal for her two daughters…actually made one that would be worse from my viewpoint!

Forget the pizza crust, forget the ton of cheese melted over the meatballs! Just allow the turkey meatballs to speak for themselves… They are delicious alone and dipped, instead of drenched, in a marinara sauce sweetened with carrot juice. The carrot juice was the best thing that the helper did for that dish along with the spinach to add a little green nutrition to the meatballs. But to drown the meatballs in sauce, cheese, and cloud it on a pizza – no way!

If you want to make turkey meatballs both healthy and fun for girls that age; then simply stick toothpicks in the meatballs and let the kids dip to their heart’s content…

The tweeners can also wrap the turkey meatballs in lettuce or cabbage leaves, adding some organic condiments and veggies to perk up the flavor of the wrap. The girls can also take a shish-ka-bob stick and roast some red and green peppers, onions, and cherry tomatoes between the meatballs on skewers. This is much better than globs of cheese and the pizza crust!

You don’t want your daughters farting all night like the guy who’s wife hates the pungent smell between the sheets featured in the other segment. Teach your children to avoid dairy and wheat and other processed items that are going to affect their colons and lead to never-ending farts with vaporous fumes as they age…LOL!
