TheDoctorsTV and Jillian’s Mammogram: Keeping the Whole Body Healthy
On today’s episode of TheDoctorsTV, Jillian faced her greatest fear of getting a mammogram. She had been told by her physician to get one for establishing a baseline at age 35, but she has procrastinated for two years. Now the doctors who share the stage with her have convinced her to tackle this fear.
She was hesitant, she had the normal fears about the procedure, but she smoothly moved through her experience with a little anticipation and a lot of confidence that her female physicians would be there to help her every step of the way.
In essence, she allowed herself to be coached through her fear just like she helps others to move beyond their limitations. She was relieved to get the news from the results that her breasts are normal. Now when she turns 40, she will have something to compare future results to with this evaluation.
With as much exercise and movement as Jillian gets every day, her lymphatic system should keep the breast tissue healthy. She does need to be mindful of the sports bras and fitness gear she wears and uses to make sure that she has adequate support without smashing the tissue to keep from bouncing while working out.
Most woman (and men) do not get enough circulation of lymph in their chest area. A good Massage Therapist can provide Lymphatic Drainage and bodywork to support the function of the Lymphatic System and the circulation of the blood to promote health in the tissues and organs internally. Movement matters…
The proper bra and clothing is significant and women need to take their fashion choices into consideration to keep the breasts, nerves, blood vessels, lymphatic system, and musculature in good working order.
Your healthy self-concept and image of your body beautiful is equally important for the health of your entire body, including your breasts. If you do not truly love yourself, your body will develop diseases and weaknesses in areas where you have judged your body. Be good to yourself and your body will be well…
TheDoctorsTV and Jillian’s Fear
Speaking of breasts…Dr. Phil milked his interviews with the Anthonys for all it was worth on today’s segment and at the end of the show when he enticed the audience to watch the second installment of this interview with the parents of Casey who may or may not have killed her own child, their grandchild. Barbara Walters appeared to be envious of Dr. Phil for being given this opportunity to interview the Anthonys, but the discussion opens up for issues that need more answers for closure of this unsolved case of death or murder, lies and deception, parenting and partying, loyalty and truth.
I find it interesting that the first topic that Wendy has to deal with is about sex. Leave it to the doctors to push this subject to yet another level. Now we have to think about ‘Hall Passes’. When is it OK to have sex outside a marriage or a committed relationship? On what terms and in what circumstances? At least Wendy mentioned that each couple must set the boundaries for themselves in a healthy relationship. The rest is simply a lot of scenarios to discuss the doctor’s favorite topic. Dr. Travis doesn’t think that he could participate in a threesome, but how can you knock it, if you haven’t tried it?
Well, I’ve tried it twice and I can say that it didn’t match my expectations. It was less-than-satisfying and less erotic that a couple engaging in intimate love-making. I lost respect for Dr. Lenny Laskow when he initiated an encounter with Rhonda who was a bodyworker at The Center for Total Health. I would not have chosen to share him in bed with her. But they phoned me at the office to invite me over to jump into bed with them one afternoon when they both had no patients or clients to see. I was curious enough to engage the experience, but too conventional to find satisfaction through the interaction.
The second time I experimented with a group sexual encounter was at a Tantric Workshop with Margo Anand. Another doctor, Dr. DuGre at The Center for Total Health in California and several other lovely men and women were my temporary workshop partners. While it was passionate and enthralling for a few minutes, it still was insufficient for me to reach orgasm or find fulfillment in this manner. I prefer coupling and a committed relationship where we can build authentic intimacy for a Lifetime.
Breaking the Rules seemed incidental to this episode. The only rule that pertains to one’s health is to be ‘true to yourself’. If you follow that as your guide, you will never do anything outside your own personal boundaries of appropriate and healthy Lifestyle choices and decisions.
