TheDoctorsTV and Feeling a High on Refined Sugar: The Sugar Blues Must Have Skipped a Generation or Two!
Only Dr. Jim and Dr. Travis out of the panel of five physicians on TheDoctorsTV show seemed to understand the way the human body responds to refined sugar.
Dr. Jim was monitoring their Twitter account and fielded a question from a mom about whether or not her children were actually experiencing a ‘high’ from the refined sugar they were getting in the foods and drinks in their diet.

Dr. Jim did a decent job of explaining the ‘rush’ of the adrenal glands and the body’s attempt to metabolize the refined carbohydrates of simple sugars like the ones you will find in processed foods and commercial beverages that have been sweetened with white sugar. Then there’s the ‘crash’ after the ‘rush’ or ‘high’. That’s the moment when a lot of people eat more lousy stuff with even more sugar in it to try to feel better. It’s my ardent wish that no one does this to the children. It’s a repetitious cycle. It is horrible for the human body!
That’s why they call it the Sugar Blues!
If any of you young ones remember reading that book which describes the roller coaster nature that happens when you eat anything or drink anything with white sugar in it; then you will know what I am talking about.
If you missed that book, then it must have skipped a couple of generations and should be read again by everyone now to remind them why they should NEVER eat or drink anything with refined white sugar or high-fructose corn syrup or any artificial sweetener like Splenda or Equal either. It’s a good history lesson worth repeating…
The replacement is to consume carbohydrates that are slowly metabolized by the body. This supplies an even and balanced resource for energy throughout the day. You don’t get so hungry, nor do you have some weird cravings or any desire to cheat by devouring candy, soda pop, or unhealthy snacks. Beans, whole grains, and root vegetables are good examples of the foods that you want to eat along with honey, maple syrup, blue agave syrup, molasses, brown rice syrup, and date sugar for sweetening any food or beverage.
I could hardly believe my eyes this week as I watched Splenda roll out a new commercial on TV. They have now stooped so low as to be crafty enough to put fiber, B vitamins, and other nutrients in with their artificial sugar substitute! What a load of BULL… If I could go into every restaurant and every home and pour some contaminated liquid all over the Splenda packs and loose granules, I would!
When I was working at Shambhalla, I would stand at the condiment table and rip open the little packets of Splenda and spill them over the table to make a point until the kitchen staff researched it and removed them and quit ordering the poison. I will never apologize for my opinion, because I have evaluated Splenda with my equipment and you should see how it weakens the brain and the entire nervous system as well as every organ and system in the body of those I tested. You are a FOOL to ingest Splenda.
It’s no wonder that people are obese, developing diabetes in record numbers, full of cancer, aging rapidly, losing their minds, and weaker than in any other time in recent history. The health of a nation has been placed at risk with refined sugars and artificial sweeteners. You are the only one who can change that! You have to consume healthy sweeteners and healthy foods. Then you won’t find yourselves on the white sugar or Splenda roller coaster that wrecks your health and leaves you spinning your wheels…
