Many people have asked me over the years what is the best way for them to regain their health, feel strong and vibrant, and live longer. I have an answer that has not changed in forty years and still holds true to this day:
Grow, eat, and share Whole Foods and Healthy Beverages!
If you can garden or grow some of your own food; then you will always know that the quality of the seed, the health of the soil, and the ripeness of your harvest is the best it can possibly be. This is such a treasure that I must tell you it is worth more to you than gold.
When you get your hands in the soil, when you take the time to nurture young seedlings with good water, when you pluck the fresh ripe berries from their stems and take them into the kitchen to become your next meal; you will begin to experience an improvement in your health and well-being. This food is alive, it is bursting with energy, it has all the vitamins and minerals intact, and it gives you the Life Force necessary for a Long Life.
If you don’t have the property for growing your own garden, then find a local community garden or share a neighbor’s land. Even if you take the time to garden with other people’s gardens or share a plot with community members; you are going to find a serenity and a source of healthy food from the time and labor you give to this effort. Furthermore, you will have food and know how to grow it, even when the grocery store shelves are empty. This is a skill and a labor of love that will sustain you.
When you eat Whole Foods and drink healthy beverages, you are going to provide your body with the nutrients and the fuel it needs to regenerate, repair, restore, and replenish all the organs and systems at both a functional and a structural level. There are people who think that nutritional supplements will be enough with a decent diet, but the human body needs Whole Foods…not just pills and capsules of isolated vitamins, minerals, amino acids, or other substances that have been extracted from whole foods. There are so many co-factors that science doesn’t yet identify that the human body requires from a food source. Whole organic foods are going to nourish your body in a way that processed foods or supplements cannot accomplish.
Healthy beverages are far superior to the commercial colas and fruity drinks that have processed ingredients. Herbal teas, organic coffee, freshly juiced fruits and vegetables, and purified water are going to support proper hydration and promote healthy fluid metabolism in the human body.
When you eliminate refined sugar, artificial flavors and coloring, synthetic substances, and unnatural ingredients that are in many commercial beverages; then you eliminate the stress upon the liver, the immune system, the endocrine system, and the kidneys to a large extent. When you give your body pure water, instead of municipal treated and still polluted water; you are demanding a lot from your body to deal with the contaminants and bio-energetic signatures of many drugs or pathogens. You really do get your money’s worth when you invest in a good purification system for your water.
Red wine is also one of the healthy beverages that will strengthen and fortify your body. Just be sure that your red wine is organic!
You can live to be one hundred and fifty years old, filled with vitality, doing the things that you love in your Life and telling your great, great grandchildren how you have seen the world change over the course of one hundred years!
