The Reason For All Seasons: Self-Realization!
If you really take a good look at the parts of the word, “Christmas”, you can see that it implies that Chrystos is in Mass! A Christed Being, one who is Self-Realized, is in the corporeal physical embodiment…that of mass and matter. This is especially evocative during Christmas Season, although it is the real reason for all Seasons.
If we propose that our human journey offers us insight into the nature of existence, the nature of Consciousness, the nature of Beingness; then it follows that the pinnacle of the human journey is to awaken to the Knowingness of God in Man and Woman.
If you find at long last that God is embodied in “All That Is” as the driving Life Force that sustains existence; then you eventually begin to see God in the face of every Man, Woman, and Child who lives upon this wondrous little Planet in the midst of an ever-expanding Universe.
It’s a magical time…this period in your Life of discovery and unfolding awareness. It takes many forms and is known by many names. It is not the sole domain of religion, philosophy, or legend. Yet the experience of Self-Realization draws upon all these paths and traditions – old and new and as varied as the grains of sand on every beach on our planetary sphere.
Each of us has this amazing opportunity in this Life or the next to know God Within. Once we encounter that divinity within, we also see it and feel it in every blade of grass and every drop of dew upon the scarlet rose. We find this beauty in the face of a laughing child and in the smile of an old person who is nearing a century of years in age.
Wisdom comes in endless ways…and it is known in the silent space of your evening contemplations or the whirling dancing of a free Spirit to loud enthralling music!
