Stress…Pain…Burns: Lavender to the Rescue!
What do you reach for when you experience Pain or Stress or get a Burn? We pull out our Lavender Essential Oil and apply liberally! We use Young Living Lavender neat – directly out of the bottle, since it is therapeutic grade.
We see instant relief and excellent results! The discomfort of a Burn is gone within seconds and the skin is often spared further injury from intervention. The redness is commonly alleviated within a short period of time and we re-apply every couple of hours to be certain all is well.
Stress is often from inflammation or an irritation caused by any number of foreign agents. Stress from emotional discord also puts the body in a different mode which is soothed and calmed by Lavender. We put a few drops on our forehead, on our wrists, and on the palms – it does a good job immediately!
Pain has numerous causes, but that sharp Pain often responds to the use of Lavender. We use Lavender first, see how much of the Pain diminishes, and then we decide what else we need to do – if anything. Pain sometimes returns, so we keep applications of Lavender to keep balancing the energy every few hours. If it doesn’t subside; then we go to other tools in our toolbox.
