Speaking of Milk…
While we are speaking about milk…
Let’s cut right to the nitty gritty – which although an unpleasant revelation, will lead you much further than many other steps you can take on your road to better Health.
Milk…as it is from the grocery store, added to processed foods, or found in items on the menu at restaurants or in fast food joints…is generally homogenized and pasteurized by the Dairy Industry. It is no longer a “real” food. It has been irreversibly altered and changed.  Think twice before allowing this substance to pass your lips!
Milk in its raw state – fresh from the cow or goat or sheep or water buffalo – that is still “real” as is the cheese, kefir, and yogurt that is derived directly from this milk. Once it is processed, it is no longer worthy of human consumption. Just take a look at some of the research that exists which details how milk and diary products that have been modified are contributing to degenerative diseases states in humans.
And if you have been brain-washed into thinking that you MUST have milk in your diet to get calcium…then think again! When milk is processed, the enzyme phosphatase is denatured. This enzyme is responsible for calcium absorption, so if it is no longer a viable constituent of milk, then you would not be getting any calcium from that processed milk! Carrots are a better choice for calcium than this, as is peanut butter…so think three times to find a better way to get your calcium from food.
Studies have been done on the deterioration of health in indigenous peoples when processed foods are provided to them. Their strong bones, teeth, and constitutions are suddenly within years weakened and diseased. So when you hear the pleas from UNICEF and other Relief organizations giving powdered milk to poor children in impoverished countries…don’t support that practice! You are contributing to their demise rather than their welfare. It would be better to send them seeds and funds to drill a well!
What about lactose intolerance? You are reacting to the processed milk, not the enzyme. So speaking of milk…leave cow’s milk to baby calves. Breastfeed your human progeny! And if it’s milk you want…make it almond milk, soy milk, or rice milk.
