Soothing Smoke-Filled Lungs!

Watching the TV and the online Video of all the Wildfires in California, it is a natural question about what a person can do to soothe smoke-filled Lungs that have been irritated or inflamed by smoke.

The Essential Oils of Lavender, Eucalyptus, and Myrrh are the best choices of the many therapeutic Oils that can be inhaled or applied topically to soothe the delicate Lung tissue.

These Essentials Oils can be diffused into the air in your home or at the office where cigarette smoke irritates many people who are sensitive to smoke. Use a Diffuser or simply apply the Oils to your body. The palms of your hands are the ideal places to put a few drops and then inhale deeply over and over again.

You may also apply these Oils to your wrists or the soles of your bare feet and they will be absorbed and circulate their soothing constituents throughout your body within ten to twenty minutes. You may benefit by repeating this process several times during the day and before you retire for the night.

If you wish to rub the Essential Oils on the chest; then use a Carrier Oil to dilute the intensity of the therapeutic-grade Oils. You may apply the blend on your chest and on your back over the Lung area to maximize results.

If the Lung tissue has been severely damaged; then you may include the Essential Oil Helichrysum to regenerate the cells of the Lungs.

There is also a tradition of using Comfrey Root made into a tea or taken in a capsule to replenish the tissue over a period of several weeks. Aloe Vera is also considered soothing to internal tissues in the body.

Honey Loquat Syrup will soothe the throat if the smoke affects this part of the body when you breathe.
