Sleep Long, Sleep Deep…REMember to Dream While You Sleep!

It is of the utmost importance for your lifelong Health and Well-Being to Dream when you Sleep! It is the only way you will know that you have entered the REM state when your body is able to perform the essential function of the re-uptake of neurotransmitters!

You do not have to know all the details about neurotransmitters and brain wave patterns during the sleep state to appreciate the relative significance of dreaming.  If you have any recollection of dreams, you are in good shape.  This is the simple signal given by your body/mind connection to acknowledge activity at this REM stage of sleep.

Most human beings sleep for a period of time which allows for the brain to make its way into REM – Rapid Eye Movement sleep.  This REM state and dreaming occur simultaneously and provide the brain bio-chemistry needed for the re-uptake of neurotransmitters.

If you do not sleep soundly or long enough to naturally enter REM, it can be facilitated by the use of Melatonin taken as a supplement only before you lay down to sleep.  Your body will normally convert seratonin into melatonin once you go to sleep to restore the body in the process.
