Protect Our Rights: Flu Shots Should NOT Be Mandantory
Regardless of one’s religious beliefs, no nurse or health care professional or any human being should be forced to take a flu shot or vaccination against their will. It’s unlawful and unhealthy!

The most sacred – if we are going to go there – the most sacred privilege and right we possess is the Freedom to control what we do with and to our own body. No one, no government, no employer, no health care system, no deplorable conceptual idea from any group or individual should be above this ideal nor allowed to force anyone to go against their own principles, belief system, or choice. It especially applies to the flu vaccine at this time of the year.
This nurse was an exemplary professional and had worked in the same health care facility for nearly 22 years; but she was fired for refusing to take a flu shot. Now…that’s preposterous!
I would file a law suit against this establishment and I would never use their services or seek employment or health care in a place like this that has no respect for “first do no harm”.
Flu shots and vaccinations have been demonstrated to damage and injure those who have received them on many occasions in the past. On that basis alone, no one should be forced to take that risk…and it IS a serious risk. I have seen patients who are crippled and have severe medical problems that were literally CAUSED by the flu vaccine. That’s the truth and you cannot refute it.
This is a risk that has to be a personal decision and this right needs to be supported and protected at all costs. This is the American Way! This is at the heart of the basic freedoms we enjoy and fight to uphold in this country and in Western Civilization. This needs to be applied to flu vaccinations, too, especially in hospitals or clinics that receive federal funds.
I find it appalling to see good employees fired for refusing to take a flu shot. They know how to prevent the spread of any infectious disease, including the flu. This is what they are trained to do on a daily basis. Hepatitis C and HIV are more serious than the flu and there are no reports of people being fired for not taking the necessary precautions for preventing the spreading of these two diseases in the media. It’s because they are managed professionally within the medical circles as it is, they don’t need to become a ‘forced issue’ for compliance with taking a vaccine or a shot or a treatment protocol…just in case. Let’s be rational about this!
I would not choose to work in a health care facility that expected their staff to prevent the flu by a mere and relatively ineffective shot in the first place. There are far superior ways to prevent the flu and to keep people well. Do those and implement these protocols instead…

I have personally witnessed the staff of a Rehabilitation Facility and Nursing Home take their flu shots, been given a prize for doing so; and still they have become sick with the flu this season. It’s true.
They were calling in sick and are still doing so right now. The flu vaccine did not work!
But the kicker is… While those aides, nurses, and staff members who had taken the flu shot were dropping like flies and contagious before taking time off from work here; I was receiving care directly from them – but I did not get sick.
I have not taken the flu shot and will never take a flu shot. I choose instead to use natural methods to strengthen my Immune System. I have not succumbed to the flu even while being directly and repeatedly exposed to it. Not take that, put it into your pipe, and smoke it!
So enough with the excuses and misguided rationale that getting flu shots is in the interest of public health and safety. That’s a foolish and mistaken notion. It’s inaccurate…to say the least. The hospital that fired the nurse has no grounds to stand on that as a justifiable reason for her dismissal. End of story. Beginning of legal action and procedural review!
Stop, look, and listen. You do not need a flu shot to stay healthy at this time of the year or any time at all. It is no guarantee that you will not get the flu by their own regulatory admission. The health authorities will not and cannot guarantee that you will not get the flu just because you got a flu shot. It’s as simple as that.
In light of this fact, no employee should be forced to lose their job for not taking a flu shot. And you can tell them that I said so…
