TheDoctorsTV and Healthy Foods for the 17 Day Diet, Improving Your Sperm Count, and Regulating Your White Blood Cells

January 28th, 2011

The doctors gave you a lot of numbers on today’s episode. Only a few foods were identified as a way to improve those numbers. We would like to share a number of whole foods with you which will contribute to improving your health.

We had to learn how to interpret the numbers that are derived from medical tests. But we NEVER relied upon these numbers to determine the course of action for our patients to take to change them. We have always found that our EAV numbers are more precise and give greater accuracy for assisting in the decision-making process. The lab numbers have always supported our EAV numbers.

The doctors weighed in on the 17 Day Diet Challenge and Dr. Phil’s group had the edge with a small percentage ahead of the Doctor’s group with weight loss after the first seventeen days. All of the participants want to change and lose their excess weight. I think that continued results will see better numbers for the next 17 day period.

Dr. Travis called this a ‘friendly competition’, but I still insist that the healthier way to approach weight management is through cooperation rather than competition. The best motivation was the virtual new body for the participants! If they can ‘SEE’ their bodies changing, they can make it happen. They still seem to need more help with their food choices. Perhaps the doctors can go into the kitchen to provide additional support.

You can go to the website for the 17 Day Diet and learn more about recipes and get ideas that might help you, should you decide to play with the concept of seventeen days… Remember that whole foods like fresh vegetables, fresh fruit, nuts, seeds, beans, whole grains, legumes, seaweeds, fermented foods, and healthy beverages make all the difference in the world when it comes to weight management. If you are smart enough to have a personal trainer, then you should be smart enough to have a personal chef that can prepare healthy organic food dishes for you while you are in transition every 17 days.

The Official 17 Day Diet website – Chat with Dr. Mike at 6 p.m. PST tonight

Dr. Lisa wants to help her patients get pregnant and an important part of that process is for the men to have viable sperm counts. As indicated, a high percentage of infertility in couples is due to the male partner’s part of that equation. The advice to keep the cell phone away from the hip pocket was sound. I have told you to throw away your cell phones or at least use a CieAura Holographic Chip to combat the EMFs that can be a factor in men’s impotence as well as resulting birth defects in the fetus.

CieAura Holographic Chips for Electro-Magnetic Fields

Dr. Lisa pointed out that Brazil Nuts, some meats, eggs, and fish that contain selenium help improve the sperm count. Nuts, eggs, meat, and sesame seeds which contain L-arginine are helpful for increasing sperm counts. Red meat and milk which contain L-carnatine are recommended for increased sperm production and motility. Avocado, asparagus, and spinach supply some folic acid which is important for sperm.

It’s important that you eat grass-fed free range beef and free range eggs, and wild fish like salmon and cod. Your nuts need to be organic, too, as do all of your food selections. If you feel like you don’t eat enough of these foods, then take Vital 18 to get all of these amino acids. Food rich in zinc and other minerals will also improve men’s sperm quality, motility, and increase the Life Force that is needed to get the ‘swimmers’ to their destination.

Dr. Lisa and Dr. Travis both mentioned that your numbers will improve with improvements in your Lifestyle. When you quit smoking, doing recreational drugs (including alcohol – excluding Red Wine), get more exercise, develop healthy relationships, live in a healthy environment, and engage in healthy behavior that is Life-enhancing, it truly changes everything within your body. Your numbers will change…as a direct result of engaging in a healthy Lifestyle.

I was pleased to hear Dr. Travis tell you about high fructose corn syrup, corn, and refined sugar. Yes, stay away from refined sugars and use natural sweeteners instead without fail to keep your numbers in check. You’ll find superfoods and natural sweeteners from Love Street Living Foods – they’ve got your number!

If you have a high while blood cell count, then the doctors warned that it might be due to an infection, allergies, or a thyroid condition. If you go to a gluten-free diet and begin to eat organic citrus fruits, garlic, onions, thyme, oregano, and other foods, herbs, and spices; you can support the blood and improve the strength of your Immune System. Seaweed, sea salt, Viva-Natural, GSE, and certain Essential Oils will also strengthen Immune response by your white blood cells. We’ve discussed this many times and you can refer to older posts by searching for this information.

All in all, your numbers only represent a diagnostic parameter that describes what you’ve been doing or failing to do in the past. Now it’s imperative to change your numbers with a healthy Lifestyle to live for today and into the future.

Dr. Oz and Rachael Ray: Cooking Ideas for Healthy, But Busy People

January 27th, 2011

I remember when Rachael first shared her enthusiasm for faster food from scratch on the Food Network. Once Oprah helped her get her own show, she continues to evolve and do better.

Her best idea on Dr. Oz today was to buy in Bulk. But you have to go to the right store to buy the right foods in Bulk.

You can’t expect the Bulk items at the big box stores to have fresh and organic foods. Even some of the coffee in Bulk is rancid. Don’t make the common mistake of buying at these stores who don’t manage their Bulk area well. Go to the Whole Foods Markets or your local Food Co-ops instead. You’ll find better prices as well as fresher food in the Bulk Bins.

The loss leaders are not always going to be a good deal in grocery stores. Usually the stuff is on the cheap end, the old end, or the ‘we’ve got to move our inventory’ end of things. These are not usually healthy choices, so you would be wasting your money. Be careful, not all good deals are ‘good for you’.

The other idea that Rachael shared that is worth the time to implement is to buy seasonally. When produce is in season, buy those foods.

Being Italian, my mother taught me to shop the way that the women in the Old Country do…daily. We always go to the market and see what is fresh and newly stocked in the stores, especially when it is harvested locally and grown by local growers. If you don’t have a CSA program in your community, start one; but in the interim, encourage your store to buy locally. The food has LIFE FORCE and all the nutrients that can be maintained without processing… It’s healthier for you. You can actually talk to the staff and see what’s in season and when they will be bringing different vegetables and fruits and Greens in. Plan your shopping, but be spontaneous enough to find new foods and specials that will save you money and introduce new foods to your family.

I would not be inclined to cook the entire week’s meals all at once. That’s not my style. I like cooking fresh food every day and preparing what I am in the mood for each day. If you can’t take the time to nourish your body by giving yourself all the time you need each day to cook a healthy meal or two or three; then you need to revamp your entire Life! The way that you nourish your body with food tells me a lot about you and how much you love your body and your precious Life! It’s comes first and everything else is secondary… It’s important that you know your highest priority is your health and wellness. Work is not as important, hobbies are not as important, and no one is as important to you as you are. Be good to yourself first and then you will be in a position to be of service to others…

Rachael does offer some good tips for making your own stock and multi-tasking some basics in the kitchen that will save you time and money, but don’t do these shortcuts just to save money. Only do these things, if they are going to keep you healthy and strong.

We realize that you want to save money. We have several methods to help you do exactly that! We’ll spend some time in the near future telling you how to save bunches of money and spend wisely…

While Dr. Oz continued his show after Rachael, he discussed joints and the problems with snapping, cracking, and popping. Tendons, ligaments, and muscles are just as important as the bones that they attach to for your mobility and flexibility. Any activity like walking or swimming makes demands upon this system, so you need to provide nutritional support to your body to maintain your ability to move with ease, comfort, and grace. We talked about CMO and CMO Cream yesterday. Minerals are of extreme importance, especially boron, calcium, and other trace minerals. Sea vegetables, root vegetables, Greens, nuts, seeds, whole grains, beans, and legumes are in your diet for a reason! Your body uses these foods to maintain your skeletal system and the muscles, tendons, and ligament. EFAs also help to lubricate the joints and your fluid metabolism lends itself to the synovial fluid.

My knees used to make all those crazy noises when I was young. I learned to balance my body with Whole Foods and eliminate refined sugar, processed foods, and stop drinking soda in my twenties to turn this around. No more creaking, popping, or pain…

The other thing that Rachael and Oz could help you with is to advise you to eat more Raw Foods and to eat organic foods. The WISH SUMMIT that I told you about will help you with more of this information from the Raw Divas.

The WISH SUMMIT

The most expensive lesson in Life is to ignore your health and wellness… But you have the resources we give you to make sure that doesn’t happen to you! Be WELL – it’s cost-effective!

Dr. Oz and Omega Fatty Acids, The Liquid Truth About Healthy Oils, and Foods for Omega’s Fabulous Benefits

January 26th, 2011

Dr. Oz thinks that this is all you need to know about Omega Fatty Acids. The “Big O” is essential for Wellness and a healthy Lifestyle.

The TRUTH is that there’s a lot more to know to ensure that you are eating the best foods, taking the best supplements, and making the best healthy Lifestyle choices.

He mentioned peanut butter, eye creams, orange juice, egg cartons, with labels on many foods, along with fish, flax, and walnuts. But there are many more foods that are filled with Omega 3 Fatty Acids.

Don’t forget your edamame, keep from frying your eggs, and use fresh herbs and spices to season all of your foods which are rich sources of EFAs. If you concentrate your dietary choices on whole grains, dark leafy Greens, wild seafood, organic nuts and seeds, and traditional soy foods; then you will fare well.

Omega 6 Fatty Acids are also on the radar of health enthusiasts, but there are many more unspoken, yet equally as significant for your health. Thus, is it essential for you to learn more about Essential Fatty Acids or EFAs.

We have been educating people about EFAs since time began and even were among the first to discuss the use of CMO for reversing arthritic conditions and rebuilding the body at the cellular level. We still explain the virtues of CMO as a nutritional supplement and CMO Cream for stiff joints, painful areas, and greater flexibility. I laughed, but agreed with Dr. Mark when he talked about cold water fish and the fact that salmon has no ingredient label.

Chronic disease stems from deficiencies, including the lack of foods and nutrients from foods that prevent inflammation. Your heart, your brain, your nervous system, your nails and hair, your skin, and your immune system are some of the organs and systems that require Omega Fatty Acids to remain strong and healthy.

Needing an ‘oil change’ was a humorous way to clue patients in that they need to make a change in their choices of foods to get healthy oils in their diets. If your foods have been exposed to high heat, if your foods have been processed, if your foods have been canned or stored for more than a month; then it is probable that you are in need of an ‘oil change’ and new food selections to keep your body free from inflammation and other indicators that your body is out of Balance.

Researchers call some of the nasty cells Foam Cells when you have the wrong oils in your blood. These Foam Cells lead to all kinds of health problems. Do you remember when I told you that inflammation is the precursor to cancer? Well, it leads to further irritation and can even create the conditions for infection. Excess conditions in your body are almost as damaging as deficiencies. Either way, you must work to restore Balance…no matter what the cost.

Did you understand what Dr. Oz and Dr. Hyman were trying to accomplish by being O Gladiators? What a silly demonstration! The point is that you don’t want to make your body a battleground.

You need to continue to work toward a balance of healthy oils, just like you need a balance of the vitamin B complex, an array of minerals, and nutrients from your food and your beverage choices. Sure you can supplement what you eat with nutritional supplements to ensure that you have a percentage of each of the Omega Fatty Acids and EFAs daily, but at the end of the day – you simply must learn to consume fabulous foods which provide a natural balance of these oils and co-factors.

We’ve discussed Wild Salmon and Krill Oil with you on several occasions. The best sources are from VitalChoice.com where you can find organic nuts, too. You should also be aware of the healthy chocolate that is offered by VitalChoice on their website.

Vital Choice Wild Salmon – Organic Nuts – Healthy Chocolate

We recommend raw nuts and the best tasting seasoned nuts that you can buy online are flavored with savory and/or sweet spices, herbs, and other goodies. Nuts go rancid quickly, so order from a company who knows their nuts…

Salmon, sardines, mackerel, tuna, anchovies, herring, and other fatty fish MUST be wild to be healthy for you. Flaxseeds and Flaxseed Oil are fine as long as you purchase them from North American Nutrition or Barleans. Those two companies are the only ones we truly trust at this moment. Raw organic nuts and seeds need to be purchased by companies who will guarantee that they are fresh and not rancid.

Crunchy cereals can be a good source when they have flaxseeds, chia seeds, sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, or poppy seeds as some of the ingredients along with whole grains and natural sweeteners. Go organic with all of your cereals, including your Granola.

You can add nuts and seeds to your whole grain dishes to jazz them up with herbs, spices, and other delicious seasonings….without forgetting your veggies in the mix. Your dark leafy Greens deserve being dressed up with tasty goodness, too. Healthy oils like almond, olive oil, coconut oil, walnut oil, avocado oil, hemp oil, and seed oils can be used to make salad dressings and sauces for veggies, grains, greens, sprouts, meats, fish, tofu, tempeh, and other main dishes.

We reviewed many sites for Listings of the foods, spices, and other sources for Omega 3 Fatty Acids:

Flaxseeds
Cloves
Walnuts
Oregano
Salmon
Cauliflower
Sardines
Mustard Seeds
Cabbage
Romaine Lettuce
Broccoli
Brussel Sprouts
Winter Squash
Tofu
Summer Squash
Halibut
Collard Greens
Spinach
Kale
Soybeans
Shrimp
Turnip Greens
Cod
Strawberries
Green Beans
Snapper
Scallops
Tuna
Raspberries
Miso

Then again…here are a few more foods that will supply your EFAs:

Pine Nuts
Pistachios
Olives
Borage Oil
Chestnuts
Chicken
Evening Primrose Oil
Black Current Seed Oil
Safflower Oil
Sesame Oil
Pecans
Cashews
Macadamia Nuts
Hazel Nuts
Brazil Nuts

and so many more foods that you can eat raw or prepared with little heat. Be wise and be certain to include these foods and nutritional supplements in your healthy Lifestyle every day.

Dr. Oz and Coconut Oil: The Healing Oil from the Tropical Paradises on our Planet

January 25th, 2011

Dr. Oz did a good job of dispelling the myths and misconceptions about Coconut Oil on today’s TV show. Dr. Oz has just given you one of my favorite healing Oils with recommendations about how to use Coconut Oil.

You can smear it on your skin. It helps to moisturize, reduce inflammation, nourish the tissue, reverse the signs of aging, and even soothes the skin from fungal infections. Either the Artisana or Premiere Coconut Oil from Love Street Living Foods is the freshest oil that money can buy. We prefer Artisana, because it is raw and has all of the nutrients and co-factors intact!

When you use Coconut Oil in your food dishes, you gain the benefit of this healthy oil which contributes to weight management. If you are overweight, you will begin to gradually lose those excess pounds with no effort on your part, except the choice to use this healthy oil.

Dr. Oz mentioned that he used a dollop of Coconut Oil in place of butter when he is cooking his eggs in the morning. Coconut Oil is comparable to Olive Oil when considering calories. We encourage you to use both Coconut Oil and Olive Oil as well as other nut and seed oils with variety in your regular dietary regimen.

You can use Coconut Oil in salad dressings and other dressings for vegetables and fruit dishes. Yes, you can use Coconut Oil to make a sweet dressing for your fruit salad with orange or lemon juice, a little honey, maple syrup, or blue agave syrup with some chopped peppermint or spearmint leaves to make it refreshing and healthy. I remember the old days when we used tapioca, but those days are long gone now with such healthy alternatives…

You can bake with Coconut Oil, just as you can make marinades and master sauces with this healthy oil, too. We don’t think that it’s as good as peanut oil when you use high heat, but if you only use low or medium heat, this oil will work beautifully for your dishes. Cakes, cookies, and crackers can be made with this oil. We actually love it for our Asian dishes along with Coconut Milk.

We love our Coconut Oil in our Raw Food dishes, too. If you have never melded coconut milk or oil with chocolate and spread in on sliced fruit, you have yet to experience a wonderful way to embellish your bananas, strawberries, and other sliced fruits. Yummy for the tummy…

Our ideal oils for applying to our skin is either almond or Coconut Oil. We ONLY use organic oils and we suggest that you follow suit to get the most healing and soothing results for your skin. The people who live in tropical paradises have known this for thousands of years. Now you have been given a new insight to the use of Coconut Oil. Slather it on for fun in the sun… Even when you apply it to your skin at night, it works its magic to keep your skin supple and moisturized. You will look and feel younger…

Dr. Oz and the Four Hour Diet: Another Approach to Weight Management

January 24th, 2011

Dr. Oz is talking about how you can spend four hours a week with this Four Hour Diet to tone your body and lose weight.

The expert gave the audience the amazing Grapefruit. It has long been known that when you eat grapefruit, you can supply your body with enzymes and nutrients that support your body’s ability to reset your metabolism.

It has to be fresh grapefruit, not bottled juice nor canned segments. It is better if it is organic and pink grapefruit. Eat it alone or at least 15 minutes before ingesting any other foods. Don’t eat or drink anything else until the grapefruit does its magic. Be patient…the calories are burned gradually and that’s the ideal way to lose weight – slowly over an extended period of time that is longer than the typical two weeks that most people stay on any diet before they lapse into old habits and patterns!

If you use Vital 18 and Raw Foods, you will return to your ideal weight and your body will find its tone… Whole foods are the key and I cannot say that often enough!

Even the foods that Dr. Oz and his Salon girls talked about to restore the hair will help you with your weight. Beans, avocado, healthy oils (not canola), sardines and salmon, carrots as well as nuts and seeds do contribute nutrients for optimal weight management and metabolic Balance in addition to luxurious hair.

But don’t fall into the trap of dieting…make a healthy Lifestyle change instead and stick with it in a state of vibrant joy and happiness!

The Today Show and the HCGDiet: When Experts Think They Help the Audience and When to Continue to Do More Research

January 24th, 2011

I turned on the TV early today, since I usually only watch TheDoctorsTV and Dr. Oz to give you juicy information on topics that the public is exposed to a regular basis by mainstream media. I caught a short segment on The Today Show about the HCGDiet.

It never ceases to amaze me that co-called experts think that they are helping the unsuspecting public by issuing strong statements about a health product or food. It happens all the time! I should be used to it by now, but I would heartily encourage you to perform more research before succumbing to their opinions and conclusions.

Ten minutes is simply not enough time to fully assess any topic, just as three or four minutes of discussion on a Blog is not enough to completely comprehend any subject adequately…

I do believe that these experts think that they are doing you a real service, to warn you about dangerous products and prepare you for failure. They think that they are doing you a favor. Perhaps you do, too. That’s fine with me. You are all entitled to your opinions and your personal experience to know for yourselves what the truth is for you on an individual basis. That’s the beauty of the Quantum Field…all things potentially. Your experience will be unique!

I have not used the HCGDiet, so I am not speaking about this from direct experience. I do have an opinion based upon testing and evaluation of thousands of health products and human bodies over the years…

I do have acquaintances who are promoting the company that these experts were referring to when discussing Dr. Simeons’ research and work on this subject. Here is their website with a video and some additional information.

The HCGDiet – Diet Information and Product Knowledge

The dietary guidelines are fairly standard and reasonable, but the caloric target of a ‘500 calorie high protein a day’ protocol might be very difficult for most overweight people to maintain without a great deal of discipline.

The HCGDiet’s product is a homeopathic formulation. It uses frequency information to stimulate the body’s own ability to change. It is vastly different that the HCG injections of the synthetic hormone.

I am not a proponent of synthetic hormones nor of homeopathic hormone manipulation. I feel that there are better methods for providing the human body with the information and the nutrients necessary for lasting change with a healthy Lifestyle. Most diets do not produce lasting results, only temporary fixes.

I do use homeopathics and I do use herbal formulations to support the body in restoring Balance. Whole Foods are a key to any lifetime change in weight management. A Raw Foods and Whole Foods dietary regimen that is based upon Wellness will result in reaching your ideal weight and body size over time. It’s a process…a gentle and enduring process.

I thought that the man’s admonishment that the HCGDiet would kill people was irresponsible. I also agree with both experts that 500 calories a day will not cover the basic nutritional requirements for a healthy human being. There is some middle ground, but I cannot find much more than to be aware of your body and to pay attention to how your body is functioning, if you decide to proceed to try this diet.

I have seen excellent results for people using Vital 18 without any deprivation for more than a decade. If you insist upon doing a diet, then at least combine it with Vital 18, so you know that your body is getting all of the needed amino acids, minerals, vitamins, and co-factors necessary for daily survival.

If you want to regulate your body’s production of hormones and your metabolic function in a healthy manner, then learn more about Raw Foods and Whole Foods by reading as many resources as possible until you feel confident in your own choices for your level of Wellness. Do your Due Diligence and be safe, sound, and healthy.

Swedish Bitters: Boost Your Body’s Ability to Heal

January 23rd, 2011

When you feel that your body is not functioning properly or that your body could use some support, then it’s time to use some Swedish Bitters.

Swedish Bitters has a 500 year plus history and the stories are endless… If you want to boost your body’s ability to heal; then Swedish Bitters is ‘the name of the Wellness game’!

I have been using the Swedish Bitters from a company that uses the original recipe and does an excellent job of creating the quality of product that you would expect to get from the most reputable of businesses on the Net.

Swedish Bitters

I am very satisfied with the results that I have personally experienced with the Swedish Bitters. I want to encourage you to find out what this formula of eleven herbs can do for you!

I found the Swedish Bitters Cream to be soothing and easy to apply to the skin. It improves circulation and warmth. I recommend it for any application to your skin. It is oily, yet it absorbs readily into the skin. It is safe for infants as well as older individuals who have sensitive or aging skin. I would order two jars at a time, so you don’t run out when you are using your second jar while re-ordering. You will notice an immediate improvement in your skin when you apply Swedish Bitters Cream.

The Swedish Bitters concentrate mixes well with water, juice, and tea. I like mine in purified water. I have been sipping it before my meals and following my meals as recommended by those who have expertise in the use of this formula. This application has improved my digestion and elimination. I am duly impressed and satisfied, so much so that I am writing about my personal preference for this particular recipe of Swedish Bitters.

I found it best to sip a little organic lemonade following my drinking of the Swedish Bitters to remove any aftertaste. It’s not that the taste is bad, not at all. It is bitter and that’s why the formula works so well! But there is no valid reason for leaving a bitter taste in your mouth, so you can sip some juice or tea after you finish the formula.

I had ignored Swedish Bitters for decades as I explained the first time that I wrote about this topic. But now that I have done my Due Diligence, I can honestly tell you that you will not be disappointed with this product.

In fact, I believe and trust that you will benefit from Swedish Bitters. The people who work with this product every day will help to answer any questions you have about ways to use them for your situation.

Visit the website and learn more about this proven formula. It has a historical place in our Healing Arts Museum of ‘Products That Work for Wellness’.

Good Morning America: Awaken to Healthy Pasta with Emeril

January 22nd, 2011

I don’t often watch TV in the morning, but for some reason I watched Emeril cooking pasta on Good Morning America.

Emeril is becoming a better chef now that he has his Green Cooking shows. He’s learned a lot from his co-workers and people like Martha Stewart over the years.

I used to worry about his health. His belly has been growing ever larger each year after tons of fat, meat, and sugar accompanied many of his dishes.

But now he’s doing better and sharing his new found knowledge and approach with his viewing audiences. That’s a good sign that even a chef can change their ways.

You should be motivated to change your ways in your kitchen, too. It’s not hard, it’s a matter of making a decision to eat healthy foods.

You switch whole foods for processed foods. You use organic and fresh ingredients instead of canned and frozen or processed items. You use fresh herbs and spices instead of dried or the stuff that comes in tins.

Look…if you can make Pasta the way my Italian ancestors made Pasta, it will be healthy for you.

You begin with whole grains and grind them yourself. If you don’t have a good grinder; then go to the Whole Foods Market and buy whole grain flours. These Markets also have whole grain pasta now!

We love the organic rice pasta. No gluten, but plenty of texture and taste.

We love pasta made from artichoke flour, it is dense – yet it is delicious!

We love to make our own pasta noodles. Play with your food…

If you don’t have the time; then buy your whole grain noodles and make your sauce from scratch.

Emeril demonstrated a lovely sauce that was full of fresh ingredients. You could tell that all of the hosts were delighted to taste his recipe.

Your family and friends will have the same reaction to your healthy Pasta dishes. You cannot compare the taste of fresh ingredients with jars of marinara sauce that have been sitting on the shelves for who knows how long! It’s night and day when it comes to flavor and texture.

Use spices that comes from live plants like fresh oregano and thyme and rosemary!

Use garlic cloves instead of powder…

Use fresh onions and parsley and basil – it will make your Pasta vibrant with sensual sensations and they will sing your praises!

Don’t add that extra cream…the dish is just fine without it. You don’t need the extra fats or calories. If you have to add creaminess, add some coconut milk or soy milk or sour cream.

Grating your nutmeg on your noodles….yes!

Sprinkling your Pasta with chopped parsley, cilantro, and freshly grated parmesan…yes!

You will learn that making fresh pasta and fresh sauces takes only minutes. Faster than you can unscrew the lids from the glass jars…

Fresh and organic Pasta and sauce will not gum up your lymph or blood the way the processed canned stuff does…yes!

Try it…you’ll honestly love it! The difference will astound you!

Bam! Shazam! Poof! Health and Happy Pasta People!

Dr. Oz and Your Healthy Heart: Lessons in Keeping Your Heart and Circulatory System Balanced and Strong with Flaxseed and Greens 8000

January 21st, 2011

Dr. Oz wants you to follow his regimen to reduce stress and keep your heart healthy in under one month. If you make the necessary Lifestyle and dietary changes; then it is going to be natural to incorporate this into your every day routine for much longer than 28 days.

He is giving his audience a 28 Day Plan for Healthy Hearts in this episode. His expert admitted that it all hinges upon a healthy Lifestyle.

Although my approach to to keep your Circulatory System and your Heart strong and balanced for the rest of your life, it is the doctor’s desire to keep you from developing heart disease and dying from high blood pressure, a stroke, or any of the other risks he described today.

We’ve talked about how important it is for you to have good Blood and how your health depends upon it. The circulation of Blood through the vessels carries oxygen, nutrients, and other natural compounds to every cell in your body. Blood is the key to everything…

Build your Blood with whole foods and specific nutritional supplements. The best whole foods are greens, root vegetables, seaweeds, herbs, and an assortment of fruits and vegetables. Did you know that the rutin and vitamins in citrus fruits and buckwheat help to keep your cell walls strong? Fresh organic fruits and whole grains like buckwheat, brown rice, millet, and many others really contribute to the balance of the heart and circulatory system at the cellular level.

The Greens 8000 powder from North American Nutrition lends itself to building your Blood. Watch the video about the Greens 8000 powder and then order yours by clicking on the Banner below!

Many cultures in Europe have eaten Pulse for more than a thousand years. We like two sources of Pulse: ForeverGreen and the brand from overseas. It tastes great and you will love munching on it.

Dr. Oz showcased foods from Greece and the Mediterranean region. Whole grains, fish, nuts, fruits, vegetables, beans, and legumes with a healthy Lifestyle – there – another expert says exactly what I say…so listen to us! Don’t forget organic Red Wine, basil, garlic, and the spices that make us so happy, healthy, and filled with a deep satisfaction when we eat healthy foods around a table of friends and family.

Fish needs to be wild, from salmon to any white fish or seafood. Say ‘no’ to farmed fish… Remember that a plant-based diet reveals the path to Longevity and vitality in every culture on the planet. Lemons, dill, oregano, thyme, rosemary, and other spices are used to season the fish.

Don’t ever underestimate the power of seaweed to nourish the Blood and the entire body. The minerals in the ocean contribute to the health of the fish that you eat, the value of sea vegetables, and the other goodies that comes from the sea. In Greece, yogurt, healthy oils, herbs, nuts, and sources of fiber like that found in whole grains lends to the overall health of the population in this region of the world.

The amino acids and other nutrients in Pulse contribute to the health of the heart. Nutrients in raw organic cacao or chocolate also have been identified to keep your heart strong. We have found some of the best organic chocolate you can buy from Lulu’s Chocolates. The ForeverGreen chocolates as well as those from VitalChoice are also excellent choices for you.

I do agree with Oz that Flax Seed Oil is important for heart health, but it has to be the best. The thing about Flax Seeds are that either you chew them really well or else you buy them ground or get your own grinder.
