TheDoctorsTV and Premeditated Health Scares Intended to Compel People to Action

TheDoctorsTV is looking more and more like the Dr. Phil and Jerry Springer every day! I am personally appalled by these tactics to try to get people to do something that they resist doing on their own. If Dr. Phil’s son tries to make TheDoctorsTV into a version of his father’s show; then I will no longer watch the stupid antics of egos that are out of control Dr. Phil and his power plays with people’s lives is not entertainment and it is not professional. He should be stripped of his license in my opinion.

When doctors start to work with relatives to force people to do what they insist is the correct action; then there’s something seriously wrong with the personality structure of that doctor and that relative. Such interventions rarely have successful and lasting outcomes. People go back to their old ways and then there is an utter failure in the relationships. So doctors and producers – STAY OUT of the business of Intervention and the Abuse of Power!

It is not the practicing of good medicine. It’s an ambush. It may have been well-intentioned by a wife or loved one, but it’s still impinging upon one’s personal freedom and their own sense of Free Will. I detest that type of behavior in any form under any circumstance. It is always the personal responsibility of the individual to make a choice and determine whether to act or not. That is the sanctity of the very foundation of our civilization: FREEDOM.

No matter how many times a wife nags her husband or vice versa, it doesn’t justify a trap. This wife wrote into the doctors TV show and exposed her husband’s private health information to attempt to induce him to change. She may love him, but she has no right to do that. She does have a right to express her opinion and ask him to pay attention to his health; but it is his choice regardless of the reasons she has to disregard his wishes.

He was angered that she wrote to the producers about him. It would be time for a divorce, if I had anything to say about it. She can take custody of the children and she can live with her willingness to compromise the sanctity of trust in a marriage. If she is so worried about her own future and dependence upon her husband’s state of health; she has no business bringing another child into this world. How responsible is she? How dare she get pregnant when she is worried that her husband might die and leave her alone to raise their children. When the shoe is on the other foot…

Maybe the wife could have decided to prepare healthy food for her husband, instead of arranging an ambulance ride with the medics. Maybe if the home environment was happier, healthier, and more nourishing; the husband might not be so inclined to eat so much junk food and might want to do more for himself and the family. If only…

Anyway, I am willing to see that he begins to take better care of himself. If it is going to be an enduring Lifestyle change; the motivation has to be from within. I have seen this so many times over the years that I lost count of the number of people to whom this applied. It’s human nature and the natural process of living the personality traits that agrees with the individual. He clearly didn’t want to change on his own and only went through the motions to appease his wife and the producers of the show. Watch and see what he does when no one is watching…

I used to refuse to set appointments for relatives or friends. If the individual is not the person who desires to live a healthy Lifestyle, then it is not my place to push them to do things that they have no interest in doing. Lasting and meaningful change has to be an internal process. People who are forced by others to act against their will do rebel and compromise all the time. There may be rare exceptions to this, but it is not the norm. You have to be the one who wants to make a change. Let that be the lesson from this ridiculous episode of TheEgoManiacDoctors. Let’s hope that this type of program is NEVER repeated in the future.

The Food Network and a Healthy Lifestyle that Begins in Your Kitchen

I get bored watching the usual programs on TV, so I have been watching more and more programs on the Food Network and the new Cooking Channel.

Emeril is going forward with is Fresh Food approach toward a sustainable way to eat healthy food. Good for him! Jamie Oliver is going into his garden and around the world to bring you healthy recipes that will bring a smile your tummy. Even the nutritionist is doing a fine job with her dishes.

Giada has grown up and built a family on the Food Network and she continues to impress me with the quality of her recipes and the use of fresh ingredients in her dishes. Even the lovely Rachael Ray is building better meals with more natural ingredients. I am even fond of the Iron Chef incorporating chefs who have a flair for technology and others who make elegant food with healthy ingredients.

Then there’s the Cupcake Wars… The vegan cupcake makers and those who make gluten-free cupcakes that taste absolutely delicious are the stars of this series. Foodography explores some of the best healthy ingredients like chocolate, even if it’s a quirky show. FoodCrafters and FoodJammers are still a mystery to me, but I have seen a few episodes that are intriguing and promising. People who make their own snack bars can be trusted to bring you creative ideas for healthy snacks.

The ethnic cuisine programs are excellent with Indian, Vietnamese, Chinese, Italian, French, and many other countries being represented. It makes me want to go into the business of making rice paper and rice noodles! I love it that you are being shown how many cultures use herbs and spices to create healthy dishes that taste great!

I adore Tyler and many of our old favorite people who keep bringing us great information and incredible dishes. Good Eats and Unwrapped are still worth our time to watch and learn.

However, the best of the best is the new program with the children who are growing their own food and selling it to local restaurants who value what these kids are doing. I hope that catches on in every community around the world!

While I don’t care for Bitchen Kitchen or Extra Virgin very much, at least the Italian husband is bringing a touch of Tuscany to the big city that lacks what is necessary for healthy Lifestyles. I would build a pizza oven and raise chickens in my backyard, too; if I had to endure city life.

Dr. Oz finally got around to pretending to be the wizard behind the curtain from the Land of Oz.

First he attempted some humorous play with healthy hearts and the Tin Man. The sirloin burger is classified as lean, but it is STILL not as good for your health as a turkey burger, especially when you make your own. You are going to have to check out your restaurants to find one that makes organic sandwiches with free-range meats of any kind whether red or white. It’s better to find a lion, instead of a mad cow in the Land of Oz. While you are looking for a pair of ruby red slippers to wear, get some good gluten-free foods and enjoy some ruby red pomegranate for the genuine path to health and happiness.

You know how I feel about cheese, so that swiss cheese needs to be replaced by an authentic artisan aged cheese on any sandwich. You might as well use arugula, basil leaves, watercress, soy mayo, organic stone ground mustard, pesto, organic tomato slices, and anything except iceberg lettuce on your sandwiches to keep them healthy for you. Have you ever had tofu spread on a gluten-free bread? It’s better than egg salad sammies! You can make sandwiches with eggplant, portabello mushrooms, avocado, and whole foods using all the colors of the rainbow for better health.

Speaking of rainbows and home, it is important to live well upon the Land with whole foods that are colorful and varied in your world as a home cook. Don’t take the turmeric that way in the ‘Potion for Motion’ that the audience member made Dr. Oz drink down. But do use turmeric in your cooking and in supplemental form for improving your mobility and flexibility and warming the body. Garlic is great to cook with, too. There is a reason why the East and the Mediterranean people are healthier than people in this country. They learned long ago and still to this day use healthy oils to bring out the goodness in spices and garlic with food preparation. Follow their lead on this…

Now I must say that I don’t think that Dr. Oz is a real wizard, although he has done some studying of the human body and the Healing Arts that make him feel like he can be of help to Dorothy and you. I know how that feels to be glad to be of service to others… But the Road to Wellness is paved by your own choices, because at the end of the day you will be the only one who takes the journey for the duration of your time in this Land of magic, wonder, and well-being.

I am going to take an immediate stand for the sake of the diplomacy of Truth. I know for a fact that Vaccines have impaired children and ARE the cause of neurological damage. The evidence exists and anyone who wants to deny or ignore this information is walking on the slippery slope of having an undisclosed agenda, a bias, and possibly the lack of integrity when it comes to their willingness or lack thereof to take a long hard look at Truth.

We know that the pharmaceutical industry is trying to protect a reputation and prevent being sued for harming these children who are immunized with vaccinations. How dare the people who work for, own stock in, and regulate vaccines and research play God with other people’s lives! There’s a point in time when parents and astute medical professionals take a stand and honestly address what has happened to too many children and adults to ignore, dismiss, or refuse to admit.

I can prove that vaccines damage the human body with EAV equipment. I don’t need to convince anyone of this fact, since I have witnessed it for the last thirty plus years. It’s as obvious to me that vaccines put humans at risk as the sun rising every morning. So if you are willing to face the truth of this matter; then you cannot leave out the problems with vaccines.

Furthermore, the argument that physicians who are in favor of vaccines pull out and put on the table that children will get preventable diseases is irresponsible and incomplete. The fact is that there are many natural and safe ways to prevent childhood diseases that preclude any reliance upon risky vaccines. My two children were NEVER vaccinated and never had any problem whatsoever and I am exceedingly proud of that fact. It is a parent’s worst nightmare to have to know that they trusted their pediatricians and the pharmaceutical industry and they were betrayed and left to deal with behavioral and health issues with children for a lifetime. I implore you as parents to refuse to get your children immunized with risky vaccines! No medical board can take a license away from me for telling you the truth and warning you. Thank God!

There are many licensed physicians who are aware of the vaccines and refuse to immunize children in their private practices. I applaud these doctors. You should support them and take your children to them, instead of those who are blind or willing to act upon their bias.

There are a number of environmental toxins that also are the causal agents of the signs of Autism, not just vaccines. It often appears that the children who are at the greatest risk for Autism are those that have all of these risk factors combined in common in their daily lives. Let’s fact the fact that the environment in every city is toxic to human beings and animals. The industrial pollutants, the synthetic chemicals, and any toxin that is in the air, the water, the soil, the food supply, the products that people use, and the homes that people live in are subject to blame for causing Autism.

You have to remember that Autism is a set or group of symptoms. You could have been exposed to one or more of these environmental toxins and it could be at the root of the symptoms that individually or collectively lead to the diagnosis of Autism. The fact that the statistics of the incidence of Autism have skyrocketed lends credence to this viewpoint.

Heavy metals are at the heart of neurological damage in children and adults. Children are more likely to show the signs of damage from heavy metals as their growth is impacted during delicate biochemical interactions within their changing bodies.

The expert who described the changes in children when they adopted a gluten-free diet is correct. Dramatic improvements are visible immediately when healthy foods and healthy Lifestyles are embraced by these children and their parents. You can tell that mother that they will never be in the clear, the dietary changes must be permanent. A whole foods organic diet is essential…end of story!

You have to be brave to face the truth and make the necessary changes. You have to be bold to take a stand and hold your ground against well-funded private interest groups. You have to care enough about future generations and love the truth enough to speak out about what is real and tangible. This is one of those times!

The imbalance might be as slight as mood changes or as frightening as behavior that cannot be managed by even the most patient of caretakers – be they parents or professionals. Most of us are not equipped to deal with the worst of Autistic behavior…myself included.

Zinc and the Common Cold: Health Information in the News

You might have seen the segment on the News about recent studies regarding Zinc in reference to the mineral’s ability to ward off a cold and lessen the duration of a common cold by one day.

That’s what they are reporting to you, the public who has to constantly deal with colds in the workplace, in schools, at daycare centers, and in groups where people gather. You are the part of the population that are at risk for contracting the common cold whenever sickies cough, sneeze, blow, or wipe with the pathogens on their way to contact with you…

You can bolster your Immune System’s function with the mineral, Zinc. This has been known for decades in our circles. But the form of the Zinc that you use is of importance.

If you have a cold, then sucking on zinc lozenges is a smart thing to do. It will arrest the cold and provide the supplemental support that helps your body do its job. TheDoctorsTV and the Questions Men Ask About Women

This episode of the doctors answering the questions that men ask about women was typical and uneventful for the better part of the hour.

I do think that mothers and sisters and wives should do a better job of educating their men about women. The men seem to be uninformed and lacking in common sense on so many fronts, it boggles my mind.

My advice to women: Talk to your men. Tell them what makes you tick. Let them know what you are feeling, what’s on your mind, how you think, and what works best for you when you interact with one another. How else will they know?

Some of the confusion is that people don’t really understand basic anatomy, not to mention the nature of physiological functioning of the human body. This is easy enough to remedy. In addition to watching TV shows like TheDoctorsTV, you can go to the library and check out a copy of Grey’s Anatomy. It’s more than a television series… The Anatomy Coloring Book is my personal favorite, ever since we used it in Acupuncture School to make it more interesting to memorize the anatomy of the human body.

Women do have monthly cycles that most men ignore, detest, or fear. However, if you want to understand women, you are going to have to face the cycles that regulate many processes in the female body. You will usually hear about the imbalances more often that when everything is functioning normally, but that’s how you learn to be a good partner.

Boil a cup of Peppermint Tea when your woman has menstrual cramps or morning sickness. Rub her feet if she has been in a pair of high heels for more than an hour. Bring her organic chocolate to show that you love her enough to give her a healthy and delicious treat for a special occasion or no occasion at all!

Talking about high heels…

No woman in her right mind should wear these death traps. I loathe high heels. Instead of being the height of fashion, they are the height of stupidity. Women damage their feet, alter their skeletal systems, and impair their muscles, tendons, and ligaments when they wear heels. It is NOT a healthy choice! No wonder that poor fellow made everyone laugh as he was asked to attempt to walk across the stage on the set of TheDoctorsTV.

When I was young, I tried to wear these silly shoes with high heels along with my friends. It was the ‘in’ thing to do…stylish, sexy, and surreal. I got ‘smart’ fast…and never put on another pair – EVER! You should always choose healthy footwear and settle for nothing less, unless you want to make your chiropractor and massage therapist a permanent part of your Life.

One more comment and then I am on to watch Dr. Oz today. For the women in your life as a caring, loving man; be sure that you are attentive to the whims and needs of your women and you will be loved just for making the effort to understand, being supportive, and doing what is within your capacity to be present with your female counterparts whether they are wives, lovers, friends, sisters, mothers, or others!

Dr. Oz and Your Water: Contaminated Tap Water, Intoxification, and Purification Issues that Affect Your Health

Dr. Oz spent a good amount of time with three experts that discussed the health issues with Tap Water.

I would give you the link to the Consumer Reports information about selecting water filters, but it’s insufficient and not worth your time. Use your other resources to find out more. Most filters are not going to do the job necessary to keep you from developing cancer and other health risks associated with contaminated tap water. Dr. Oz didn’t even mention that their are particulates from drugs and other things people flush down their toilets or use on their gardens that get back into the municipal water supply or foods that you eat.

The conclusions of the panel is that you are at risk when you drink tap water from major cities where industrial and agricultural wastes get into the drinking water or the soil. They described Chromium-6 and several other chemical toxins along with heavy metals like arsenic and lead which are known to cause health problems in humans and animals.

It’s not enough to have to worry that your municipal water treatment facility is up to snuff with current standards and doing their jobs properly. You almost have to take matters into your own hands and get your water tested in your home, at your place of work, and in your children’s schools and day care centers. Anywhere members of your family might drink the water out of the tap, you need to be sure what and what is NOT in it. You must get this tap water tested to know with any certainty what you are dealing with!

Be sure that your Lab is testing for heavy metals, chemicals from industry in your area, and agricultural poisons that could have leached into the soil and local water table. Not all Labs are created equal and many tests are incomplete. If you are going to get your water tested, then at least be certain that the Lab can do an adequate job of testing for what is important to you.

The quality of your water and your food is vitally important in order for you to keep from intoxification with these common agents that have slipped through the cracks of regulatory agencies and public oversight.

If your pipes in your house are old, then that could cause a serious problem. If wood or drywall that you used in construction of your home or even your children’s playground equipment came from China, then it might have been contaminated with arsenic and it could have slipped through the cracks when imported, but not inspected. Even the soil or dirt that your kids play in after it rains or endures hot temperatures at the peak of summer might unleash toxic chemicals which can do a lot of damage to young people. Dr. Oz didn’t really talk much about bottled water, but the consensus among the experts was that it is hard to make any concrete conclusions due to the state of regulatory controls that are limited in many areas. Many companies don’t reveal their source of the water they put into their bottled water, since much of it just comes from the municipal water supply. Back to square one…

If you do buy bottled water, just check out the company and determine the source and the purification techniques they use. There are fantastic suppliers who get their water from deep pristine aquifers. Find them…

I prefer to make my distilled water for cooking and household applications. Since I take minerals, I don’t rely upon my water for supplying any trace minerals. Distilled water does ensure that there are no contaminants present in that water. Not all distillers are the same, so be sure that you get the best that money can buy. If you want a personal referral, just ask.

I personally refuse to drink tap water or anything made with tap water in any restaurant or office. I won’t drink tea that is made with tap water. I won’t use ice cubes that are made from tap water. I won’t drink coffee from tap water. It’s just plain ignorant to take the risk. You pay too hefty a price… If you have ever watched blood cells die when a shard of heavy metal touches the cell wall, then you know just how fragile your body can be when exposed to these substances from tap water. You could be losing hundreds of cells every hour in your bloodstream and when the blood pulses through any organ or system in your body. Don’t let that happen to you…

The water that you use for any purpose that enters your body is of paramount importance. Choose your sources wisely…
