Dr. Oz was brave to air this episode and face his fear of heights. I am proud of him.
He faced his fear with the support of professionals and dealt with a phobia that had power over his conscious mind. He made a real breakthrough when he looked FEAR in the face and stood his ground…determined to know the beast that held him in tangible visceral panic.
The human body has a visceral reaction when fear grips the individual whether imagined or real. Many people choose to let the fear control them, instead of gaining control over the source of the fear.
Fear can be purposeful. We learn as children to avoid burning our hands on hot stoves and we learn to deal with many dangers that are common in our shared world experience. This serves to educate, inform, and make a person aware of their environment. The healthy response to fear allows us to master our personal responsibility to take care of ourselves without bringing harm to our bodies or minds.
Then there is the person who succumbs to fear and becomes overwhelmed, feeling powerless to deal with the situation. Their lives are altered when the fear becomes magnified and untamed. Dr. Oz and his expert helped one such woman begin to take a look at her fear of spiders.
She did fairly well, being able to finally take a look at the image of the spider on the screen while Dr. Oz held her hand and stood between her and the image of her fear. Her conscious mind knew that the spider was not real, but her emotional body was intimidated to the point of barely being able to view the tiny creature. I could tell than many audience members felt for her while she attempted to face her fear.
I was talking to the TV and telling her to stomp on the next spider she saw in real life. Stomp on it, smash it, smush the little beast, put it out of commission when it invades your personal space. The spider is more concerned about this huge human being than she realizes. Most spiders aren’t out to bite people, but are acting upon instinct and survival. Her phobia extends to unrelenting cues from her body by affecting her breathing, sweating, anxiety, and even the way she holds her body. At first, she could not even look at the image of the spider and needed to stand far from the screen. That goes beyond fear and reason…and it diagnosed as a phobia.
She is going to need to spend a lot more time conditioning her mind and body to face her fear and conquer her unnatural response. She has the luxury of time.
When you own your own Power, you face your fears and realize that you have more power within you than you originally believed. The fear loses its grip on your mind. That is the most empowering moment…
Embrace what you fear, determine why you fear it, and face it by standing your ground and feeling your personal Power!

I watched an episode of Emeril’s new show on the Cooking Channel called Fresh Food Fast.
He indicated that organic food can cost more than the alternative. In many cases, that’s true. However, in the long run organic food will save you money specifically because you will be healthier when eating better.
You will save money on doctor’s bills, prescription drugs, nutritional supplements, and lost days from work when you are no longer sick, tired, or incapacitated with poor health.
Not all organic food is expensive. I have found that prices continue to be on par with the toxic produce and comparable products in most Coops and grocery stores. As more people buy organic food, the prices go down. Supply and demand and markets…
I implore you not to purchase any produce that is not organic. Even with peels and skins that might be removed before eating a food, toxic chemicals enter the plant material and your health will suffer… Please do not compromise when it comes to your health and wellness. It is only a matter of a few pennies. It’s worth every cent to buy organic!
It’s smart to buy in Bulk quantities. It’s smart to start a Buying Club, if you don’t have a Coop in your town. It’s smart to prepare your own food and learn to cook in your kitchen. You’ll save money and time.
If you are a lousy cook or you don’t have time to prepare your own food, then the Deli in the Whole Foods Markets and people who cater organic foods are the ideal alternative. You can barter or trade their services and food for what you have to offer in many cases!
All in all, it is essential for your well-being to be financially sound and have good health – they go hand in hand! I manage to be frugal and spend less on food now than I ever did when I was foolish enough to buy processed foods or eat out at questionable restaurants. Just be mindful and you’ll save money while becoming healthier one day at a time.
I liked the dishes that Emeril prepared for the lovely young fellow on a budget. Although most of the food was nicely presented, Emeril still needs a few lessons on how to cook tofu. He also over-filled the black bean burrito. You can make two small burritos, instead of stuffing one too full with everything falling out of the sides when taking a bite. My goodness! The tofu could have been braised in some of the peanut sauce or marinated in garlic, ginger, and tamari, instead of rubbed with oil and grilled naked. A little imagination goes a long way when it comes to tofu!
But at least Emeril is really making an effort to prepare healthy natural foods and make them affordable and appealing to people. I applaud him!

How many times can Dr. Ruth inform and shock the audience of TheDoctorsTV show?
She keeps coming back to share more of her ideas for men and women and their sexual encounters. She is a little old-fashioned, but informed and funny to the point of being entertaining to watch to see what she’ll say next.
Personally I think that when the doctors and Ruth pull out their adult gadgets; they have gone as far as any person is going to be allowed to go on television.
Here come the ticklers and the vibrators and the gizmos to make sexual experiences more tantalizing for partners or individuals. I never found that I needed to resort to these trinkets, but some people seem to adore their gadgets.
Here is one GADGET that might do more for you than anything else.
PheroBands are worn like a bracelet or wristband and come in an assortment of colors. They are inexpensive. They blend science with fashion for the ultimate in attraction toys. You can give them a try and tell me what you think of these little puppies.
PheroBands are safer than most sex toys that are intended to arouse one’s passion. So that’s a definite plus…
You can wear these bands with discretion and people will respond to you without even knowing why they are suddenly responding to your presence. Of, course, you should probably wear the bands to bed to keep the juices flowing…
I also hope that partners go beyond the use of items like PheroBands for bringing their partners and themselves to a satisfactory climax that is fulfilling on all levels that are part of a healthy relationship. However, if it takes the use of the band to initiate the first contact; then it is worth wearing and allowing nature to take its course from there.
Wear your wristbands with the willingness for a meaningful connection that will develop into an amazing relationship!

This was a strange show. I found the ‘girl talk’ with friends a little old-fashioned, and I was surprised by the silly suggestions for snacks just prior to bedtime.
The only thing that made sense to me was the idea of keeping a Dream Journal. This is a profound method for learning how your subconscious mind communicates with your personality. I would have to highly recommend that you keep and study your own Dream Journal. It’s a fantastic way to ‘know thyself’.
CafePress has some beautiful Dream Journals and you’ll find one that you like. Keep your Dream Journal next to your bed with a pen and a nightlight. It’s important to take the time to write down your dreams when you awaken, so nothing is lost or remembered inaccurately later in the day. You can study your Journal and find key images that are unique to your Inner World that will reveal all the answers to understand your deepest Self through dreams. You will notice patterns and it will open your eyes to worlds beyond the waking state that are reserved for discovery while sleeping and dreaming in sweet repose.
Dr. Oz gave some weird examples of snacks before bedtime. I cannot endorse milk at night nor anytime of the day. If you are going to drink anything at all, drink some organic Chamomile Tea to calm and quiet your body and your mind before you go to bed.
Your body cannot digest the bananas quickly enough for you to derive the potassium or other minerals that help you sleep, if you eat bananas just before bed. The banana that you eat in the morning may supply you with the nutrients for the next night’s sleep, but the good doctor should have realized that there is transit time in the digestive system required for the absorption of minerals before they are available in the blood for the body to use. Timing is everything. You would be wise to drink some Liquid Ionic Minerals before bedtime to get your nutrients in time for that night. It’s common sense and basic science when it comes to human physiology. Dr. Oz should amend his recommendations…
The CieAura Holographic Chips for Rest are going to be much better for helping you go to sleep and have a restful sleep than snacking before bedtime.

The doctors actually think that they are funny! They amused themselves with the twist on words while they talked about all of the holes in the human body.
When doctors look into the orifices of your body, they are looking for signs and symptoms of disease. They have been trained to know what a healthy hole looks like as well as how to diagnose the pathology in the orifices of the body.
If you are dedicated to eating Whole Foods; then your body’s holes will be healthy and normal more often than not. Whole Foods will be utilized by the human body to maintain the health of the tissue, the fluids, and the function of these orifices.
The doctors only mentioned the use of vinegar, witch hazel, and tomato juice for the pores of your body. When you consume Whole Foods or apply natural products to the exterior of your body, then your orifices will respond favorably.
The physicians talked about the nose and nostrils, the mouth and throat, the ears, the pores, and the orifices of the reproductive and digestive systems.
There were a lot of humorous references and you should listen to the clips from the website, if you enjoy medical humor. I didn’t really think that they told the audience anything new or revealing, just the same old advice that doctors give about the basics of holes.
The only take-away from this episode is that it is often challenging to inspect your own orifices and you need a doctor to examine yours unless you are able to use mirrors, contortions, or other instruments to view your holes. It was uneventful, although the docs tried to make fun with puns about holes.

The absolute best thing that happened on TheDoctorsTV show today for all of the people on both Teams who are struggling to lose weight with a healthy diet and exercise was that the winners for the milestone at 34 Days was a $600 Gift Card to Whole Foods Markets!
The Whole Foods shopping alone should help these folks meet their goals. I only hope that once they begin to shop at the stores that have healthy foods on their shelves…that they continue to make it a habit. This will be one habit that is positive and productive for them when they make their new approach to weight management into a healthy Lifestyle instead of breaking it into 17 day periods.
But everyone who is overweight has to start somewhere, so the 17 Day Diet is a reasonable place to begin. The book is priced lower for the next two days, so avail yourselves of the Special, if you want to buy the book.
The 17 Day Diet – Special Pricing on the Book
The winners have good changes in their lab results for cholesterol levels and the percentage of body mass indicating weight loss to date was impressive. This diet should attract a strong following of people who intend to lose weight and change their bad habits to learn alternative ways of living that are much healthier for them.
Dr. Travis said it. He mentioned that it is a Lifestyle issue. The changes that these Team members are facing are effecting more than their weight.
Dr. Lisa and Dr. Jim presented a surf board to one woman who is going to keep her promise to her father who died wishing for her to lose weight and learn to surf. This has deep meaning for her Life far beyond her weight loss. It’s a part of her self-image.
Although Dr. Travis told everyone that they are all winners, some seemed to trust that statement more than others.
All things considered, if you are looking for an easy diet; then take a close look at the 17 Day Diet and incorporate it into changes in your Lifestyle 17 days at a time…

Dr. Oz interviewed several people who suffer from the condition known as Pica.
One person eats chalk, others eat rocks, baby powder, drywall, and other strange materials. It’s a strange condition that is apparently more common than most people might imagine.
All in all, the underlying reason for this behavior is the need for minerals that is not being met in the diet of these people. The body craves minerals when deficient and people will justify eating unusual things just to meet that unconscious need.
One person’s blood was so impaired that she was in serious peril. Another person was lacking in iron and other deficiencies were exposed and discussed by Dr. Oz and his expert on the topic.
Getting minerals is not always the easiest thing to accomplish, since our soils are depleted and food processing alters the nutrients that are available. So it is vitally important to supplement with Ionic Liquid Minerals that have nearly one hundred minerals in proper and natural ratios.

Today was a strange episode for Dr. Oz with his quirky attempts at medical humor on stage with people who really do belong on Late Night TV, instead of daytime educational programs.
Jimmy Fallon is a funny guy, but when it comes to inappropriate subject material on daytime TV, he takes the cake and smears it on the television screen. You hear stories of how fun it is in the operating room with doctors who play music and make jokes to lighten the mood, but this demo with Dr. Oz just went too far south.
If a person was drunk, stoned, or used to vulgar slurs; then perhaps that person might laugh a little on the stage with the scrubs on. I hope the production staff avoids this mess from now on…it was an irresponsible effort to bring gross levity where it didn’t belong.
The segment on exotic foods from Japan, Mexico, and Korea was more decent. It’s true that you would need to include these foods that were featured in your regular diet for the suggested benefits for Longevity. Frankly, there are better choices for exotic foods for Longevity that could have been shown like the Cupuacu superfruit from Brazil. That’s the up-and-coming superfood for Longevity and Wellness that deserves more attention in the media. Kim Chi, corn specially processed, and sea urchin are hardly distinctive right now. They are well-known to anyone who eats a variety of ethnic cuisines on a regular basis, instead of a bland diet of milk toast.
It is fair to say that fermented foods are good choices for people wanting to live long and prosper. It is fair to say that sushi is a delicacy and good for one’s health when fresh and fished in clean waters. It is fair to say that whole grains that contain bio-available nutrients are going to be good for one’s health in the long run. But there is nothing all that exotic about the foods that Dr. Oz tasted with trepidation today.
Where was the Amasake from Japan? Where were the sprouted mung beans from Korea? Where were the black beans from Mexico? Those are going to do more for Longevity than the foods Dr. Oz nibbled upon today.
And speaking of better suggestions and recommendations…
I implore you to never take Amino Acids alone and separate from one another. Dr. Oz is WRONGO in the CONGO when he prescribed Tyrosine. It is not to be taken like an isolated drug or vitamin. This advice will throw your body out of Balance! Stupid, stupid, and utterly stupid… PLease do not take any Amino Acid alone.
I don’t care if you’ve written a book and try to convince people that they can reverse being fatigued and exhausted with quick fixes that don’t take other health factors and Lifestyle choices into consideration. You can coach all of the Hollywood and TV crowd that you want, but that doesn’t make you right. The 7 Day Energy Surge won’t last and you’ll find yourself looking for some other solution when you find yourself back in the business of being bereft of energy.
Come on, Jim, you can do better than this… Throw out the alarm clock and go to sleep early enough in the evening to awaken naturally without a blaring alarm feeling refreshed, renewed, and eager to start the day. Do eat a good breakfast, but remember to pay attention to food combinations. Do not EVER supplement with isolates. Take a complete mineral supplement and take a complete array of Amino Acids! Period.
Wheatgrass? Really? How on earth can you recommend that with a straight face when there are much better choices readily available that don’t result in a grimace on one’s face? Spirulina and other superfoods are going to do more for you than wheatgrass. Do not dilute your coffee with milk. If you want to alter your favorite beverage, then use soy milk, rice milk, coconut milk, or almond milk instead of cow’s milk.
OK, the advice for a better night’s sleep are sound. Relaxing music is going to soothe the savage beast before retiring for the night. Once again, I beg you to throw out your alarm clock. If you need something to gently bring you to wakefulness, get a play system with sounds from Nature and a lighting system that gradually comes on at a specific time.
Two minutes does not a backrub make… It makes sense to spend at least ten to fifteen minutes with some pleasant massage, if you are going to make it count. OK…enough of the judging for now! Just be careful that your surge doesn’t roll over you like a tsunami’s wave….
It’s OK if you supplement your food with the full spectrum of Amino Acids in one supplement. Vital 18 is the perfect example of what you can do without harming your health. I hope that Dr. Oz will do his homework before putting your health at risk like that in the future. I am dismayed and concerned that people would trust statements that should never have been made on today’s show.

Well, if you listened to all of the challenges that doctors and patients and parents face when it comes to diagnosis of some medical condition and a course of treatment that is supposed to be correct; then you’ll understand why we are just going to make a short commentary about this topic.
Misdiagnosis is more common than most people realize and more than most doctors fear happens every day. Even though Western Medicine has laboratory testing capacities, expensive equipment and technology, and tons of pharmaceutical drugs for every imaginable medical condition; there are mistakes made constantly and it is hard to avoid. But yet, misdiagnosis puts both the patient and the practitioner at risk. The patient struggles to feel better and may never resolve the actual problem with their health due to an incorrect diagnosis. The practitioner may face legal consequences or ruin their reputation when they misdiagnose a condition. If the patient dies or gets worse, the practitioner pays an even higher price for their inability to correctly determine the syndrome. It doesn’t bode well for Western Medicine.
We have the Solution.
EAV equipment can zero in on accurate information and provide a correct diagnostic result 100 times out of 100 evaluations. As long as the practitioner tests all of the organs and systems that are associated with the health condition; then all the information is found. It’s amazing once you realize the magnitude of this diagnostic tool. It doesn’t get any better than this.
EAV testing results are verifiable with Lab tests and other diagnostic tools and often points doctors in the right direction for further study and treatment. I have worked with Teams to bring the patient a better result on many occasions. It has always led to the desired outcome.
EAV testing is exceedingly accurate and revealing. It can narrow down all the causes for symptoms and signs without guessing or speculation. It is an exacting science. The German origination of the technology and the combination with TCM make it an ideal diagnostic system. The patient is pleased with the results and the correct information which is the real reason why the EAV equipment is such a valuable resource for any practitioner.
Enough said…if you want to prevent mistakes in diagnosis; then visit a practitioner who uses EAV equipment to ascertain the necessary information about the patient’s state of health and course of treatment. It’s an elegant solution.

Dr. Oz brought a physician and people who have lost weight on the HCG Diet on his TV show today, because he is curious about all the buzz about the relative success of this diet that baffles people in the medical field.
The physician is giving injections of the hormone and charges about $800 for a six week regimen. She takes a patient history and follows the patient as the program proceeds for several months. People explained that it worked for them and that they were satisfied with the results.
Other people appeared who described the homeopathic drops that have a bio-energetic signature of HCG. The gentleman was satisfied with his results. The woman described her own ordeal and said that she actually passed out while on the diet.
Then there is the Calorie Restriction of 500 calories a day. This is far below what is recommended for maintaining a satisfactory amount of caloric energy for basic body functioning. However, the quality of the foods supplying these 500 calories seem to be better than junk food and include fruit, lettuce, and other real foods. Most people would not maintain such a low calorie diet for more than a short period of time, but they appear to do alright when being monitored by their physicians.
I cannot get excited about this type of diet. I am from the school of health that doesn’t attempt to artificially manipulate hormones in the body to lose weight, nor am I inclined to believe that 500 calories a day will be sufficient to maintain genuine health. A person will still be alive, but many organs and systems can suffer from nutritional deficiencies on so few calories. I could not recommend the HCG Diet.
One person started to lose her hair and felt deprived and hungry while on the diet. Mood swings, irregular menstrul cycles, and hair loss have been reported by people on this diet. No one in their right mind would be willing to compromise their bodies to such an extent as to exchange a pound for such dysfunction. It’s not worth it. There are better ways.
The drops do not have active ingredients in them? What does this guy not understand about homeopathics? He’s dense and uneducated about homeopathics in general, so we’ll cut him a little slack. Although I don’t feel that a homeopathic of HCG is necessarily advisable for most people who are overweight, I cannot fault the attempt to signal the body to regulate hormonal balance with a homeopathic remedy. It is less dangerous than an injection.
Dr. Oz wants to look further into the use of this diet. Well, why wouldn’t he find that the better use of his time and expertise would be to look at lasting and substantial change by implementing a healthy Lifestyle that works for the patient for the rest of their lives. Whole organic foods, natural balance restored by reasonable Lifestyle choices in behavior and weight management accomplished by changing at the very foundation of consuming healthy food and living an intelligent life. Then this Lifestyle puts an end to dieting and that is a much smarter way to get the same end result. People won’t have to compromise their health, even for a short period of time, spend too much money for injections, or lose weight only to gain it back again. Come on, be smart about all of this!
Diets don’t work…
Only a substantial and enduring Lifestyle change works for the individual. It would be far better to respect the individual to the degree that you support them in making a decision to approach weight management from the perspective of long term success through Lifestyle change. Doctors enable patients with quick fixes, extreme diets, and orchestrating medicated manipulations of the human body which doesn’t really serve the patient in the long run. It is my ardent hope that doctors come to the conclusion that they are responsible for encouraging long term rational choices for their patients, instead of these temporary fixes that just don’t last long enough to justify the short term gain. That’s my humble opinion for today.
I would rather see these people take six months to adopt a healthy Lifestyle and see what kind of real results they achieve in that amount of time.
