Today’s episode of Dr. Oz focused on health issues that women over the age of 40 face and want to fix with these doctors’ ideas presented by Oz and his experts. This is one show that I feel that I must describe as irresponsible.
The sexual health of women who are in their 40’s often is affected by the demands of family, work, childbirth, and the deficiencies of the endocrine system that comes from the failure to embrace a healthy Lifestyle early in one’s Life.
Women on the show were complaining of a lack of interest, little desire, being too tired at the end of the day for sex, difficulty in getting aroused, and the diminishing of the pleasure of sex and orgasm. It became clear to me that Oz and his expert had few legitimate answers for these women who were depending upon the doctors for ideas. The doctors offered gimmicks and gadgets, instead of something substantive. I was extremely disappointed.
What woman really wants vaginal mesh implanted when she actually needs nutritional support to strengthen the tissue in that region of the body. Did the doctors miss the health risks associated with this mesh that is calling for a class action suit? It causes many more problems than it tries to solve. It doesn’t really solve the real underlying cause of the weakness of the muscles and other tissue. Bad medicine… It’s better to use herbs and nutritional support to restore function and structure to these tissues. Much better! The true Healers in the East have been doing this for thousands of years successfully. Maybe our doctors could learn a thing or two from them…
The experts on this episode make me think that they are lazy and not up to snuff with their information about helping the aging bodies of women in their 40’s. These doctors seem to know nothing of dealing with bio-energetic deficiencies. When a woman replenishes the chi or energy, the blood and body fluids, the yin or structure of her body at this time in her Life; then she is able to maintain the vitality of her youth well into her 60’s, 70’s, and beyond…with determination and a healthy Lifestyle approach to aging gracefully. It drives me crazy that doctors resort to surgery, implants, drugs, and gimmicks so easily a and that women would succumb to these meager attempts. Just say, “NO” to more make-up and fake lashes, mesh, and in the case of killing hair follicles – just say “no-no”.
Some of these doctors and experts are watching too many late night infomercials!
The only rational advice given for sexual health was about communication with one’s partners. That works… And if your partner really needs to refer to a map for help in finding the areas of your body that arouse the senses; then communication and the quality of playful exploration are going to serve you better than a mere map. Read the Kama Sutra together. Find people who know about Tantric sex and learn more from them. Google ‘Margo Anand’ and take a workshop or two… Become acquainted with Mantak Chia and figure out how to integrate his methods into your coupling!
Just go to the real experts…
The true Healers of the East are those with the knowledge of Avurveda and TCM or Traditional Chinese Medicine. When you go to this provider, you will find traditional formulas and herbal products which have been used for centuries and thousands of years with great success.
The segment about vital veggies left me wondering why doctors try to twist food the same way they twist drugs. There’s a problem with giving one food that is the ‘best’ for a health issue. It’s more like a pharmaceutical sales rep trying to pawn a new drug off on a doctor as the ‘best’ one to use for a disease. It’s a disgusting attitude toward health and it has no place in ‘wellness’ circles.
Sure…it’s fine to eat avocado for supplying healthy oils, eating brussel sprouts and butternut squash for the nutrients that the skin and eyes require for functioning properly; but it is irresponsible to single out a single food and make it sound like a ‘fix’ for the 40’s. How many times do we have to say to eat a well-balanced whole foods plant-based diet? Eat as if your entire body was going to be nourished and loved into a long and healthy Life!
I have never tested Irvingia which is an extract of an African mango seed. The medical claim by the doctor on the show was for losing weight around the waist, but I have no way of commenting about this until I actually test the product with my EAV equipment. The fastest method that is proven to trim the waist and lose excess weight is to adopt a Raw Foods diet and eliminate ALL processed foods and beverages from the diet. Exercise works, too. Remember that? Find a little time either early in the morning before the rest of the family awakens or at the end of your day before you retire after everyone else has gone to bed to nurture yourself and do some Yoga.
I thought the most irresponsible comment on the show today came from the doctor saying that high doses of Turmeric were needed to get results. That’s horrific advice and no reason to go out and buy a supplement with turmeric and pepper in order to slug down more than any sane individual would ever consider doing… Don’t DO THAT! It’s one thing to take a supplement of Turmeric, but the real tried and true way is to take this spice and cook with it. Recipes from Indian cuisine are going to give you a beautiful blend of spices and herbs that will be digested and used by the body when cooked properly and combined with real food. Just tell these damn doctors to quit treating spices and foods like drugs!
Magnesium, Vitamin A, and all of the other vitamins and minerals should not be prescribed like drugs by doctors. This is a horrible mistake and they should remedy it. Nutrients in whole foods are not by design to be ‘isolated’ substances, but rather are designed by Nature to be combined for an ideal whole food for the human body. You may need to learn how to prepare your avocados, your brussel sprouts, and your butternut squash to make these foods delectable and delicious, but that’s half the fun of living a healthy Lifestyle.

The show was valuable for women who know their bodies better than anyone, especially doctors who don’t pay close attention to symptoms that could identify ovarian cancer. Many signs are missed by physicians.
All of the signs and symptoms were discussed and several women spoke about their personal experiences. Dr. Oz had given a previous show about this topic and it saved many of their lives. They went to their doctors and got the correct diagnosis.
Many women don’t think that bloating, digestive problems that persist, pain in the pelvic or abdominal area, and several other seemingly unconnected complaints could be indicative of ovarian cancer. It might behoove you to review the Dr. Oz show on his website if you are in a high risk group. A woman who has not given birth that is over 40 years of age. It’s good information to know, even if it is only to recognize the signs in other family members and friends.
Dr. Oz and Ovarian Cancer Information
I was much more interested in hearing what foods and supplements were being suggested for preventing this disease. Kale, spinach, broccoli, onions, and escarole provide phytochemicals that research has shown as inhibitors. Whole Grains and Flaxseed provide fiber and nutrients which studies show to be promising. Black Tea appears to be useful when consumed regularly. I am most impressed with the research done in Germany about Flaxseed which pioneered more studies in this country and around the world.
Naturally, for most people who want to live a healthy Lifestyle by adopting a whole foods diet, it stands to reason that one would eliminate refined sugar, flour, and fried foods as well as all processed foods. We’ve talked about this on hundreds of occasions. We’ve shared with you the benefits of a Raw Food Diet and Macrobiotics. All you have to do is to review our previous posts to find a plethora of information about food and nutritional supplements.
The role of citrus fruits and vitamin C was overlooked today. The frequency of vitamin C is identical to the vibratory rate used in Rife technology to destroy cancer cells. The zest, the juice, and the Essential Oils are favorites in keeping a human body free from cancer.
Let’s not forget the beans, legumes, dark leafy greens, seaweed, miso, nuts, seeds, and other whole foods that have kept many human bodies free from cancer for thousands of years. Whole Foods are the key to health and wellness.
I liked the fact that Dr. Oz talked about pine nuts, green tea extract, and many other nutritional supplements and whole foods today. He is doing more good to discuss these foods than he does by talking about interventions and invasive procedures once the disease presents. It’s not enough to try to prevent a disease. It is the goal of this blog to promote a healthy Lifestyle as a way of staying well.

I have been reluctant to even bother to take the time to watch TheDoctorsTV show lately, because they are stooping below the level of what I consider professional with many of the things they were doing. But today was a pleasant change of pace…
The doctors shared the entire Sears Family with the audience. The members of this family have all been involved with the writing of their new book, “The Portable Pediatrician”.
The Portable Pediatrician Book
The patriarch of the Sears Family has been at the helm of helping his patient’s learn to take the lead with the care of their children through empowering them with knowledge. This is what more doctors should be doing for their patients. Dr. Jim is also an ardent advocate for parents to be the most aware and knowledgeable about parenting and childcare to promote a healthy Lifestyle for their children and their families. Touche!
The book will give you a reference point to draw from while you are learning through experience. Experience teaches you more than anything else in our lives. Doctors begin to get better when they go into private practice, because they have the direct experiences with their patients to refer to when determining sound advice and a course of action. The Lab Tests, the procedures, and all the rest is complimentary; but the real value of a doctor is to serve as a guide with the wisdom gleaned from experience and knowledge. That’s the gift of a gifted physician who is truly the measure of the Healing Arts…
Trust yourself as you gain more experience and keep learning!
This usually comes from being a part of an extended family like those in Europe and the Old World. Our culture has lost a lot of that, but it can be remedied with a little effort. The Sears Family bringing sons into the profession is an example of this ancient wisdom.
There were some other good moments today on the show when whole foods were suggested as a solid and practical method for addressing health issues.
What truly impressed me the most about today’s episode was the segment about Joe Cross and his Juicer. His journey across the United States to find the way to regain his health is a powerful statement about how it is the personal responsibility of each individual to take action to restore and maintain one’s health and well-being. Joe learned to juice and found his answer and his health! Wonderful and truly the lesson for each of you!
Joe Cross, the Breville Juicer, and the Documentary: Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead
If being on the brink of death is what it takes to finally value a healthy Lifestyle; then that’s a good thing. Joe came back from the brink! So can you… It’s almost never too late… Almost. But don’t wait to test that premise! When you drink fresh organic juices every day, your body will respond with increasing vitality, endurance, and strength once again. I have seen it in my experience with many people and I have felt the incredible energy from living juice made to drink immediately.
Even the young woman whose diet consists of chicken nuggets and fries liked the carrot juice blend that Joe shared with her. The doctors drank the juice down with enthusiasm and genuinely liked the flavor. There is hope for this show after all is said and done today.
The information on Red Wine was fine, but even a woman can handle more than one glass a day in moderation. The funny moment in the show was Dr. Drew talking about hangovers! The ‘Hangover Sucks’ product that supplies vitamins and minerals to help a person recover from a hangover made me laugh. It will take a little more nutritional supplementation than a small sucker, but it’s a start. It’s better to take your vitamins and minerals before you go out to drink to oblivion, instead of waiting until the pain and discomfort sinks in the next morning when you can barely keep water down… Prevention is worth more than a sucker of a cure…
The women with low libido and other health concerns didn’t get the answers they needed due to the doctors inexperience with these types of deficiencies. You cannot just throw drugs at people to replace hormones and expect the human body to see that as sufficient. The doctors still don’t understand why bio-energetic deficiencies present such problematic health issues that need to be dealt with differently than prescribing drugs; but they will come to that understanding someday. It’s a progression in the maturity of a Healer.

It finally happened. I knew it would eventually. Dr. Oz had an expert on his show today that agrees with me about the deceptive advertising of cereal companies who make the claim that their cereals are ‘whole grain’.
We all know that cereals come from whole grains…that’s a fact. But once the whole grain is milled to become a cereal, it is NO LONGER a whole grain.
Most cereals are made from flour. They gum up the digestive system and do not offer the same health benefits that whole grains provide people. So let’s get real and stop falling prey to advertising claims that are false and misleading!
You want fiber? You want the health benefits from whole grains? Guess what? You have to eat whole grains. Is that so hard to fathom?
Cereals are not going to give you as much nutrition as whole grains. End of story! That cannot be debated… I hope that you get that through your head and realize that the cereal companies are trying to dupe you into believing otherwise with their slick ad campaigns. They have compromised whole grains to turn them into cereals. They are not the same. Your body digests them differently. Get it?
Parents cannot buy a box of Cheerios and add some cow’s milk and put that in front of their child and think that they have provided them with a healthy breakfast. That’s a false assumption! You need an education about nutrition. You also need a cooking lesson about how to prepare whole grains, beans, legumes, eggs, and other whole foods for the first meal of the day. You will be a good parent when you do this much for your children.
Dr. Oz wanted to discuss whether or not parents are abusing their children when they feed them foods which result in obesity for their child. My answer is: yes. It is an abuse of the trust that your child places in you as a parent to provide the highest quality of food available to your family members. They can’t go out and shop themselves until they are older. They can’t go out and grow their own whole grains. They rely upon their parents to supply healthy food. So parents are responsible for the food that is brought into the home. As a parent, you are contributing to the health or the detriment of your child’s health with every food purchase you make. It’s your duty as a parent to provide healthy food for your child.
It is not only neglect, but it is abuse. If you knowingly feed your child processed foods and substances that are known to cause cancer, degenerative disease, obesity, diabetes, and other health problems; then you are culpable. I don’t think that you should go to jail, but you should accept an educational opportunity to learn and change your choices of food for your children. You should welcome this!
You have the free will to eat whatever you want to put into your body, but until your child is old enough to make the decisions about what food is available; it’s imperative that you make responsible and intelligent choices of healthy foods. To do anything less that this is abusive at many levels. So show your love and your maturity and give your children healthy foods at home and at school.

Dr. Oz started with the women in their 50s who find it more difficult to reverse or slow the aging process than in their younger years. Women in their 50s and 40s age as their endocrine system weakens and fails to produce adequate amounts of hormones and enzymes.
Dr. Oz shared a few foods that will help with this aging process for older women. Roman Beans which looked a lot more like Anasazi Beans to me, pine nuts, and balsamic vinegar were given their due in the spotlight. Even a delicious banana split with scoops of watermelon, yogurt, and granola littered with chocolate chips was presented to lure women into using food to fight fat, fatigue, wrinkles, and other signs of an aging body.
Flaxseed, blueberries, mushrooms, salmon, broccoli rabe, and other foods were also given praise as foods that will help in many ways to deal with aging bodies. There are hundreds of other healthy foods to add to this List to really get the job done properly. Just read the rest of my blog to learn which foods they are and where you can find them. But realize that whole foods need to be combined with superfoods and herbal formulations, Essential Oils, and nutritional supplements to give you authentic Longevity and Well-Being. No matter what your age…
Doctor Oz thought he was a weight wizard as he became a mixologist blending Green Tea, tangerine slices and juice with fresh mint leaves for a refreshing beverage that replaces Gatorade called “Weight-orade”. You could spell it “Wait-or-raid” if you wanted to imply that it will stave off the raiding of your youth when you imbibe daily. Just be sure to use real Green Tea, instead of stale tea bags. You can find organic mint in many health food stores and coops. Organic tangerines are going to have more vitamins and other nutrients plus more flavor than commercial fruit. Here’s the Dr. Oz recipe, just in case you need the amounts:
Doctor Oz and the Weight-orade Recipe
If you cannot find tangerines, then substitute lemons, limes, grapefruit, oranges, or other citrus fruit. Use the zest in addition to the slices and the juice. Doctor Oz forgot about the ZEST!
The really important message was about refined sugar and how it robs your body of its vitality and nutrients that keep you young and healthy. Honey, maple syrup, blue agave syrup, brown rice syrup, date sugar, and other natural sweeteners are fine, but vow never to touch refined sugar or high fructose corn syrup ever again to maintain your well-being and want to live long and prosper.
Energy boosters for your metabolism can be loaded with false promises or can be substantial. Dr. Oz borders on the hype end of this topic most of the time. He did make a good point for fiber, but he took the easy way out with a supplement, instead of relying upon whole foods for one’s fiber requirements. PSX makes a powered fiber that can be poured over foods or added to water, but that’s the lazy man’s and lazy doctor’s method. Beans, nuts, seeds, greens, whole grains, legumes, root vegetables, vegetables, and fresh fruit are much better choices.
I was surprised to see the good doctor lie on a mat that is supposed to imitate a bed of nails while fully clothed! Doesn’t he know that he should have removed his scrubs or his clothing to get skin to mat contact for real results!?! I realize that it was only a demo, but he didn’t even mention it. We all have memories of half naked men from India laying on these beds of nails. You can get shoes that do the same thing and a good massage will accomplish more stimulation of the energy of the body than will a mat that is only laid upon for a few minutes as if it is that easy…

Friday was an informative show for Dr. Oz. He shared the uses of Peppermint and Lavender for improving the health of his audience in addition to quelling the butterflies in your stomach. I suggest that the use of the Essential Oil of Lavender and Peppermint is more effective than tea. However, a hot cup of organic Peppermint Tea is good before a meal or anytime your tummy is upset or queezy. Peppermint is also going to boost your brain power for memory, but only when you use the Essential Oil. You can place a drop on your temples or your wrists or diffuse the oil into your room. When you study, it is good to do this to better memorize and catalog information in the brain, but you should also use the oil when you take an exam or need to access the information.
Brussel Sprouts, eggs, and other foods are fine, but there are dozens of whole foods that will contribute to the betterment of your brain. Nuts, seeds, and soy products which contain lecithin are well-known to support the brain. If you build your blood, your brain will benefit as well. Herbs are traditionally used to accomplish this in the human body and for animals as well.
Nutmeg, blackberries, and papaya were identified by Dr. Oz as foods that will stop the angiogenesis of blood vessels that provide a blood supply to cancer cells. These are easy to incorporate into your regular diet, but be sure to consume organic and fresh papaya and blackberries. Nutmeg is best when you grate a little fresh with each dish as you prepare your food in dishes like pasta, vegetables, desserts, and other dishes. If you have never tried Chai, you will find that this spiced tea is delicious and nutritious while providing cinnamon, nutmeg, and other spices that have been used for our health for centuries.

Doctor Oz appeared on an episode of the Rachael Ray show last week and I finally watched the recording, so I could comment about his appearance.
I thought he should have donned a new wardrobe of an apron, instead of a coat and tie. He’s wearing a suit when he has an opportunity to learn to cook healthy food. He really is a one-trick pony. I expected him to avail himself of the chance to cook with Rachael.
Rachael often goes to restaurants on her Food Network show that features great places to eat around the country. She’s been in Sedona and other places where organic and natural foods are appreciated and valued. Dr. Oz could have really benefited from the hour’s exposure to Rachael’s way in the kitchen.
Instead they decided to opt for the funny guy. Doctor Oz answered audience questions with a sense of humor. At least he’s eating enough walnuts to keep his brain functioning with clever comments and cute answers. He looked a little out of place in his suit and tie when we are used to seeing him in his scrubs. What he doesn’t know is that he can cook in scrubs, too.
Rachael Ray and Doctor Oz
Rachael is doing more to further good health with her show than all the fear-mongering episodes that the good doctor uses to push people into a corner. I would take twenty cooking shows over one shoddy doctor’s show any day of the week. Jimmy Kimmel made some comment the other night that applies here. He intimated that a simple bruise was being turned into a life-threatening disease by doctors on TV.
So let the doctors take note and write a new prescription for cooking on their hourly shows more often than putting the fear of death and dreaded disease into the audience. They’ll be healthier for learning how to cook to thrive…

Dr. Oz gave his audience a rather misleading Headline for his show today.
The 24 Hour Anti-Aging Plan is meant to convey what you start doing in one twenty-four hour period then becomes a daily routine. That’s a stretch…
Most people want Quick Fixes.
Most people want to do something once or twice and hope that’s it enough to fix their problem. That’s not usually going to be sufficient!
A healthy Lifestyle that lasts one’s entire lifetime is really the only way that you can guarantee that you are doing enough to live long and be well.
It’s a series of 24 hour periods that you use every hour of the day and night to enhance your health and well-being. It happens every day and every single night. It’s the quick fix that lasts until you take your last breath.
This is about so much more than a 24 hour period of time. Every second counts…
Every moment you get to make choices. Every thought and every action impacts your health. One thought that you harbor today may manifest in your body ten years from now. Imagine that! It all MATTERS.
Doctor Oz and his expert suggested that you start in the morning. Instead of refined sugar sweetened yogurt with fake fruit syrup or eggs with ketchup, you can eat real yogurt with organic fresh fruit and natural sweeteners like blue agave syrup or maple syrup. You can eat eggs with a hot sauce to replace your ketchup which often has added sugar in it, unless it’s organic ketchup with honey. You can find healthy food replacements online or at your local Whole Foods Markets.
Dr. Oz also recommended that you take supplemental chromium in addition to eating foods rich in this trace mineral. It helps to metabolize sugars and carbohydrates. We recommend ionic liquid chromium along with fresh organic tomato, broccoli, and other whole foods rich in this nutrient. Yes, blackberries, papaya, pineapple, and other whole organic fresh fruits help to protect your body from being ravaged by cancer out of control.
Dr. Oz did talk about Astragalus. It’s a traditional Chinese Herb. It’s not generally taken alone, but rather in a complete formula that is based upon how you present to your acupuncturist or specialist in TCM. There is a class of herbs that are described as ‘adaptogens’. These are special herbs, roots, barks, and other parts of a plant or natural material that supports the body’s ability to adapt to any stress which slows the aging process. Ginsengs are among the best known of adaptogenic herbs, but remember to take these in formulations, not separately! Please…we know more about this than the neophyte doctor.
It’s silly and rather ridiculous to cut down on refined sugar and stop aging. You MUST quit consuming ALL refined sugar and processed foods. Period.
You do need your rest at night and naps during the day to keep your brain chemistry balanced and your energy level steady as she goes. In addition to the elimination of nitrites and nitrates in foods, all processed meats or cured meats that contain synthetic compounds need to go away while you begin to replace all of these foods with whole foods and healthy beverages. A good vitamin/mineral supplement might be useful depending upon how well you eat…go ORGANIC!
Now, there’s more to anti-aging than this, but we’ll save it for another day and another dollar. If you implement some basics into your daily healthy Lifestyle, you will be making the most out of every twenty-four hours in a row…followed by another 24 hours in a row…and so on and so forth you go to a long Life filled with vim, vigor, and vitality.

It took a visit to the morgue with Dr. Oz for this obese girl to get her Wake-Up Call about her weight and the health risks on today’s show.
Dr. Oz and the Morgue Visit
She had been failing to take her obesity seriously and quit working with the experts that Dr. Oz brought to her twice over four months. She even went so far as to blame her mother until she went to live with her for five days and realized that it was NOT her mother who was sabotaging her weight loss goals.
The mother didn’t even put the ice cream or other foods in her kitchen on her radar when her daughter visited. It didn’t cross her mind, but her daughter was clearly upset by the very presence of foods that would add more pounds to her 700 pound frame. Her emotional problems are at the heart of her love/hate relationship with food and her body. It may have finally hit her that SHE and she alone is responsible for her condition and for any changes that she makes. Even Dr. Oz was angry and frustrated that nothing he had done thus far had made an impact.
He felt that his only remaining choice was to SHOCK her into a stunning realization by seeing the morgue and the internal organs and omentum fat of a deceased body. She cried as she handled the fat that was an indicator of only one/sixth the extra weight that she carries. She needed to be shocked and in awe of the death due to the damage to the internal organs of the human body with a person only one hundred pounds overweight…and she is wearing 700 pounds.
I don’t think she is ready. Her emotions were less than authentic in my opinion. She is going to a clinic for a few months and we’ll then see how determined and committed she is to losing that excess weight and saving her Life. She cannot blame her mother, her husband, or any doctor…she alone has to point her finger at herself. If she thinks that eating what she wants is a display of being able to control some aspect of her life, then certainly this will be the way she shows that she loves her life enough to make the necessary changes.
I remember seeing my father’s dead body as well as one of my friend’s body when they died. I was a teenager then and it did make an impact. I did not cry, but I did see the inevitable difference of one body having the ‘breath of Life’ and the dead body after the Soul departed. My father died from cancer and my friend died in a car accident. It was instructive for me to see their dead bodies. It was not traumatic, but the images are forever imprinted in my memory.
If this obese young girl ever is going to change, this is the thing to do the trick. The Morgue is her ‘last stand’. She either changes or she will be the next one being dissected and remembered for her poundage as her cause of death. The ball is in her court and even Dr. Oz is without the power to do it for her… She must do this herself.
Will Power is a key to any resolution of a health issue that any individual faces. If you are determined to change and reach your health goals; then you will find the inner directive and capacity to make the changes that take you step by step to your goal without excuses, without blame, and without delay. The fundamental relationship we have with food needs to be reconfigured to be one of love and care, nourishing and encouraging, filling and complete with acts of self-esteem and gratitude for being alive and well.

Dr. Oz gave his audience more than they bargained for today! He gave them both the problem and the solution to many health challenges without actually realizing it himself.
The show began by comparing Cocaine to the addictive qualities of carbohydrates. Dr. Oz suggested that people have food addictions to carbs that they cannot deal with on their own.
People lose any sense of self-control. They have to have their bagels or toast or cereal when they get up in the morning and they can barely get through the day without their french fries, pastries, breads, or pizza.
They chow down on refined foods and then pay the price with health problems stemming from obesity to diabetes to cancer to fatigue. Some of these addicts know that they are ruining their health and their chance for a healthy future, but they cannot alter the course of their dietary decisions for the life of them. In fact, they risk their very lives with every bite, every morsel, and every indulgence in the foods that they consciously know are going to harm their health. They persist, make excuses, fail on their diets, sneak these carbs, and hide the truth of their addiction. They really do share all the signs of any drug addict, but the price they actually pay is worse than cocaine or other illicit drugs on their bodies, their minds, and their emotions.
In my experience, it’s easier to get drug addicts to stop taking drug and clean up their habits to lead a straight path out of danger than it is to get people to change their food choices and stop eating refined carbs and processed foods that kill them a little bit every day. They are crazy about carbs and the addiction is a powerful one that is exceptionally difficult to break. They eventually have to ask themselves how much they love life itself!
Dr. Oz had his expert talk to several women and they went through many of the signals and triggers that people subject themselves to with pasta, pizza, breads, bagels, and fries. The women admitted to their lack of self-control and their inability to quit consuming these addictive food items. They agreed that they should, but they seemed powerless to implement the changes and stick to them – even for 48 hours! The brain is wired for failure when dopamine and seratonin are released over and over and over and over again from the over-consumption of these refined carbs from processed foods.
You have to take a stand and defy the addiction to change the behavior and the trap that steals one’s health unless you find the WILL within you. While Dr. Oz didn’t spend as much time as he needed to in order to give people the solutions, he did provide a valuable insight in the next segment that is the TRUE answer. The ancient knowledge of the East from China, Tibet, Japan, and the rest of Asia have secrets that work and keep people well.
This company is reliable for providing the highest quality of products recommended on the show. While you sample these products, remember to eat whole grains and fresh organic fruits and vegetables. Yes, vegetables have carbs, too. But on the Doctor Oz website, you are going to have to sort through the inaccurate references to whole grains, because he continues to confuse cereals and breads with REAL whole grains. Whole wheat bread is NOT a whole grain, nor is oatmeal. You want to eat the whole oat groats, the red wheat berries, the brown rice, the millet, the barley, the REAL whole grains along with beans, nuts, seeds, and the grasses like quinoa and amaranth. Organic is definitely BEST and fresh is better than frozen or canned…
If you eat smaller meals and snacks throughout the day, you won’t get those headaches and withdrawal symptoms that the doctor warned you about in most cases. If you do, then get more minerals from vegetables, dark leafy greens, and supplements to stop the process of withdrawal from your addiction to carbs. Just don’t cheat by eating anything with refined sugar, sugar substitutes, or artificial sweeteners or juices that will sabotage your results over the next 28 days. This is a process that is intended to last you for the rest of your Life and you might as well begin the proper way, so you don’t develop any bad habits.
The TCM expert is a perfect living example of this tradition. He held himself well, he spoke with knowledge and careful humor, and he presented three substances that are traditional sources of barks, berries, and foods that are utilized in these Healing Arts to restore and maintain well-being and a healthy Lifestyle. While we normally use herbal formulations in this regard, these three products were described with the intent to introduce you to some of the most basic concepts and products which have worked for thousands of years and will work for you as well.
Shizandra Berries, Jujube Seeds, and Bark are only three of hundreds of adaptogenic and medicinal substances which are well-known in Asia and becoming increasingly available to the Western markets through acupuncturists, herbalists, and health food stores in your local communities and in our online world. This is most advantageous for you!
You can read more about the discussion with Doctor Oz and his experts on his website here:
Dr. Oz and Carb Addiction, Ancient Secrets, and Dollar Deals
If I were you, I would befriend the best acupuncturists in your local area and begin to learn more about wellness with their expertise. You’ll experience what it means to feel good again, feel vibrant energy, begin to live a healthier Lifestyle, and find Balance in all things in your Life. You will spend more than a few dollars in a Dollar Store, but you will get more value than you could ever imagine. This knowledge and way of Life is worth more than all the gold you could store. Those dollars deals should have taught you not to buy cheap medication, pain relievers, vitamins, or anything else which has its value based on dollars, instead of your intrinsic health and well-being. By the way, don’t buy your moisturizers or your pain medication or anything else that you put into your body at those dollar stores… You get what you are willing to pay for! Spend more money and more time to give your body the very best and your Life will be longer, healthier, and happier than any carb could ever tempt you with again.
