TheDoctorsTV and Health Headlines: Good Advice and News You Can Use

This is yet another good episode of the new season of TheDoctorsTV show. Today the physicians sang their theme song and laughed while offering some good ideas and information about health and medical issues in the Headlines.

Singing while socializing is one of the ideas that the good doctors shared while they took to the mike and the stage. They got a few laughs…given their less-than harmonic tones and notes. But what an effort! That’s the good news…

The segment about Cell Phone radiation was helpful, but that little back covering won’t solve the problem. And thank you, Dr. Jim for reminding parents that children’s brains can be impacted by the radiation from the use of cell phones. It’s not a gift to your children unless it is accompanied by a CieAura Wristband and a Holographic Chip for protection!

I personally REFUSE to USE a Cell Phone, having tested so many of them on so many people and never finding one single instance when it was healthy to be within the proximity of a cell phone that is being used to call or receive a call. No, not me! But I do wear the Chips to protect me from the people who use those damned phones when they are close enough to me to expose me to that radiation. They should be more cautious and caring…

You can tell that the radiation is already getting to their brains!

The doctors also talked about the 31 ounces of coffee that a chain is going to begin to offer. That would definitely stretch and strain most bladders and kidneys and vascular systems. The human body was not designed to intake that much liquid all at one time. If you are so fatigued that you are convincing yourself that you need a coffee fix; then you need to use some herbal formulations to rebuild your energy!

There were some silly Headline News items that the doctors just couldn’t resist. Dr. Drew donned the padded underwear OVER his trousers, but we got to see enough to get the idea! Dr. Travis wondered if the front padding might protect a man from damaging the family jewels. Regardless, you won’t see me buying a pair for my partner!

An allergy is an allergy is an allergy…even if it is to one’s own semen! It makes a physician ask the patient about more than their sexual activity, but explore their diet, their immune system, and their attitudinal belief systems that play a role in this type of response. Abstinence is not the best answer…

I thought it strange to discuss the menstrual bracelets in another country by the employer who is concerned that his employees are spending too much time in the bathroom and not enough in their offices. This is going too far and needs to be approached from a less sexist point of reference. Productivity in the workplace and the excuses that women make when they take excess time in the toilet area can be resolved with Wellness in the Workplace consultations. I am offering…

Look…if some hospital was going to tell me that I couldn’t film or take pictures of my child’s birth during labor and delivery, I would change hospitals. It’s your experience, not just theirs… Your wishes come first and can be accommodated without risking any procedure or the safety to the process of giving birth. The mother will be engaged in her delivery, not stopping the process to pose for photos! I know this from direct experience and our midwife loved the idea of documenting the exciting birth experience!

One last thing…

I refuse to wait for an appointment that has been set for a specific time and I am left waiting for more than ten minutes past the time agreed upon without billing the doctor’s office or hospital for my time. I do like the idea of booking time for non-emergency services to help both patient and facility be more efficient with their time-management.

All in all…the doctors had a good day giving you their take on the health issues in the Headlines. They love to laugh and they have a knack for silliness… And that is yet another way to live a healthy Lifestyle beyond reports, studies, or opinions!

TheDoctors and Renewal: What They Think You Want to Repair , Restore, and Renew

This second episode of the new season of TheDoctorsTV started out with a bang: The Inner Pulse.

This concept and book by Dr. Siegal is an important one for you to know about and integrate into your Lifestyle. You probably already are doing this and paying attention to your Inner Voice and the pulse of your existence.

Doctors are often baffled that some people survive against all odds, defy the Laws of Nature, and miraculously pull out of medical situations that kill the average person.

These people are interconnected with a power beyond the physical reality that physicians deal with exclusively. The Body, Mind, and Spirit are ‘one’ for these fortunate people who exhibit extraordinary healing capacities.

There is an element of your personality and attitude that plays a key role in changing the usual outcome to a positive outcome for you. The rest is the mastery of the Mind and the spiritual mystery that the Ancients taught in the Mystery Schools like RSE in Yelm, Washington. Anyone can learn how to create and alter their reality and experience what is beyond the medical community’s ability to explain, predict, or procure.

Then the show took on the average proportions of information that you would expect to come from doctors. Dr. Travis talked about ways to avoid ‘burnout at work’ by taking a walk during your lunch break. He gave two other tips which you can find on their website using the link above. Dr. Drew laughed that he comes on to the set early and that gives him a better start to his day.

Your healthy Lifestyle includes being satisfied and passionate about the work you are doing every day. If you travel more than twenty minutes one way to get to work, you might want to consider moving closer to the job or take a different job closer to home. If you sit at a desk for an extended period of time, you may want to get up every half an hour to stretch, get a cup of Green Tea, and improve your circulation with movement.

Some bosses are bringing in Massage Therapist which offer Chair Massages or neck and shoulder bodywork for office workers. You should also keep healthy snacks and beverages at work, so you don’t resort to donuts, coffee, or candy. We recommend organic nuts, seeds like pumpkin seeds or sunflower seeds, organic beef jerky, organic snacks, and fresh organic juices or a healthy soda like Brain TONIQ or China Cola.

The doctors got lost in their show about repair, renewal, and restoration with a segment about retinopathy and a frenectomy procedure. A guest physician talked about toe lengthening and shortening. Then we finally got to a beauty section with steam.

These are not steaming techniques that I would recommend, since there are better ways to use steam for a healthy Lifestyle. The old-fashioned methods are more ideal for the average person, instead of employing your rice cooker to steam your face, using bananas or avocado on your steaming hair, or applying unchecked hot stones to your leg muscles by those who aren’t sure how hot or warm to get them prior to using them. It’s better to go to the Spa, sit in the Sauna, get a professional session of bodywork, and use infrared after a nice steamy shower to relax, restore, and renew your body.

The doctors are newcomers to renewal, restoration, and the healthy ways to repair the human body. They prefer the knife and drugs to what we’ve been doing naturally for thousands of years. But they are open to learning…for the sake and the interests of their patients and their public. The food that is put into your hair and on your face: rice, bananas, and avocado is better eaten, because the body in its wisdom knows how to use it better than another person in a salon unless they eat their way to a healthy Lifestyle, too.

TheDoctorsTV and Ways to Increase Volume: The New Season Begins with a Full Look for Your Body

Today marked the very first episode of the new season for TheDoctorsTV. The topic revolved around ways to increase the volume of various parts of your body from your lips to your eye lashes.

The full-bodied woman is still not fully appreciated, but their are parts of the body that the majority of people who are concerned about the way they look based upon appearances which are more desirable when full, plump, and noticeable.

If you want to be artificially plump by adding volume when your body type is genetically programmed to be thin, slender, skinny, or less-than-fully endowed, then you are going to have to rely upon the KNIFE.

Of, course, Dr. Drew loves this stuff. The cosmetic surgical procedures necessary for adding volume to areas of the body is right up his alley. I have no interest in this at all, since my opinion is that anyone who really wants to reshape or regenerate their bodies can do it without surgical procedures, but with healthy Lifestyle changes and techniques. So you are on your own with the volumizing interventions for lips, hips, butts, calves, and all parts north and south of the equatorial belly.

The bio-energetic injury to the human body that occurs when any type of surgery is performed leads me to recommend that you exhaust all of the healthy Lifestyle methods and techniques before resorting to cosmetic surgery for Volume.

Physical training, nutritional supplementation, dietary regimens, and even the use of subconscious audio tape programming of the Mind is often just as successful in reshaping the physical body as is the surgery choices. But you have to weigh these decisions for yourselves. The healthy way requires more time and focus, whereas the surgery is quick and costly leaving you with scar tissue, energetic injuries, and confusion within the body.

I did think that the discussion about “The First Kiss” was interesting, especially because most of the male members on the doctor’s panel remembered that kiss more clearly than their first sexual intercourse encounter. I would have expected it to be the other way around. Those kisses must have been some passionate kisses to impress their brains so distinctly.

You know, before I go, I need to say this again…

It is of vital importance for your health that you find a way to accept the body that allows you Life! When you can love your body, then you can find the graciousness to put out the effort to change your body to keep you happy, healthy, and mentally balanced. Disease is given an opportunity to invade the body when you ‘hate’ or dislike some aspect of your physical body and that is a tragedy that truly needs to be given further consideration. Your attitude carries much more weight than you could ever imagine until you study this…

You can have your ‘ideal’ body through all natural methods without going under the knife as long as you provide the Subconscious Mind with the ‘image’ that you want, surrender to the power within you, and know without any shadow of a doubt that it will come to pass. You will change your behavior and your Lifestyle choices to reflect that ‘image’ that you hold in your mind.

The Chew Replaces “All My Children” on ABC: From Fantasy Soap to Soup Reality

As most of you have heard by now, “All My Children” will be replaced by “The Chew” on ABC to bring the viewing public a new and refreshing television show based upon what is real, rather than their favorite soap opera drama fantasy.

The reign of Erica Kane and her cohorts has come to an end, but will live on in the lives of those who prefer dramatic relationships to balanced interactions within intimate friendships, family ties, and workplace alliances.

The Chew is going to have a chance to restore a healthy perspective for all of those people who have gotten lost in characters and story lines that mirror the highs and lows in their own lives far too often. Personally, I hope that the gang from The Chew can pull it off and rescue those lost in TV Soap Land with a plethora of culture, good food, and purposeful Lifestyle discussions.

There are signs of ‘real life’ here. That will do more for daytime television than the continuous drama of diseased emotions that never end well. Let’s face it: Soaps only sell when people are miserable, falling into bed, falling out of love, trying to control other people, sabotaging themselves, or any of the myriad of other ways to destroy the evolution of the human being.

The Chew will be a reminder that we have engaging relationships with one another every day that matter, that make us stronger, that challenge us to be better, that improve our lives, that nourish those around us. If this new television show lives up to the hype of the commercial bites I have seen, we’ll have organic cookies, tofu in healthy dishes, and local sourcing of our food. This is an hour on TV that could change your lives!

Just watch this Small Bites Video about Salts presented by Michael Symon. He knows his salts and evens shaves his Himalayan Salt as a finishing salt as if taste really matters!
I am encouraged by hearing him ask you to use your commercial salt for melting ice from roads, instead of ruining your food with it. Good for him! Sea Salt and the varieties of healthy salts do actually contribute to good health and great flavor!

The Healthy Choice for Your Ultimate Survival: It’s Time to Rumble, Tumble, and Prepare

It’s time to rumble, it’s time to tumble, and it’s time to make some healthy choices that will result in your ultimate survival this year and next.

This is a “Wake Up” Call to action…

If you do nothing more than read this post, act on it, and give all due consideration to what I am telling you right now; that will be worth the three years that I have been sharing quality information with you.

Do this for yourself and your family!

When you make healthy choices, it is going to reflect upon you directly; but it is also going to impact your relationships with friends, family, an co-workers. The way that these people perceive you and your choices in Life can be instrumental in helping and encouraging to make their own changes for improving their unique Lifestyles.

It’s time to rumble.

Let’s shake things up and face some things about this year and next that are hard to swallow, but essential for your survival and continuity.

Preparedness of natural disasters is not just something that you do when the authorities issue you an emergency notification for evacuation. No, some things are up to you and you alone to pay attention to and work out a way to incorporate into your Lifestyle.

One of the ways that you can prepare for the rest of this year 2011 and the year of 2012 is to store food and water. You need an entire Pantry that is fully stocked and loaded to the gills with healthy foods, beverages, and organic ingredients. If things continue as they have, there could be higher prices, food shortages and difficulty in getting the quality of food that ensures your health and wellness.

This is not a game.

This is ‘serious business’ and you need to immediately put up enough food and water to carry you through the rest of this year and next year to boot. This is not the easiest thing you will have ever done, but it will be the smartest thing that you could ever do!

Spend enough money on food and purified water to tide you over until the end of 2012. Secure your food and water in a safe place where you can go when you see these events taking place that signal to you that something is afoot that is not normal, typical, or remotely common place. Leaving the city could become a necessity to maintain your safety and security. When things begin to rumble, you need to be able to act immediately by having prepared before the ‘rumbling’ starts and panic ensues in the majority of the population.

Be ready to help your neighbors, to help those in need, and to extend a helping hand to strangers! This is going to be a time when the health of human beings working together for a common cause could make the difference between their demise or their survival. When you contribute to the well-being of another less fortunate individual, you are doing something filled with compassion and thoughtfulness that is the initial state of Grace. This has a profound place in a healthy Lifestyle.

When things go from rumbling to tumbling, take care to secure all of your possessions and property in order to preserve your Life. The landscape will never be the same again, so be mindful of what you need to do to take care of business using ingenious methods and brilliant ideas that are outside the ‘box’. Be creative and use your imagination to deal with events that are beyond your control… Your job is to keep yourselves and your families safe, healthy, and secure.

I imagine that they are well-rested and will return to tackle the hot topics that are in the News, on your Mind, and of interest to their audiences.

Of, course, we’ll be here to give you our perspective on the information that they present to you when you view their programs.

We feel that it is vitally important to provide you with a comprehensive view of these health and medical topics from our vast experience and knowledge base. It helps you in many ways…given that your Comments have told us as much. We are grateful for your feedback and support. It makes doing this meaningful for us.

I just hope that you are not bored with the usual topics of human sexuality, weight management, cosmetic surgery, anti-aging methods, and fitness. Jillian should make an interesting addition to the doctor’s panel, but I hope she has a new-found respect for people who need her help, but not her moodiness and attitude. Her sharp tongue is the worst feature and is NOT a part of a healthy Lifestyle. No one needs that negative reinforcement to induce a positive change in their lives when it will be long-lasting and internalized. No brute force is needed for true change!

If this Preview of Jillian emotionally battering young people is any indication of what’s to come on this season, then count me out! It is appalling that she believes that this is what it takes to motivate anyone to change.

Dr. Oz and Yogi Cameron: 28 Days for Healthy Transformation

OK…the second time that I have watched this episode of Dr. Oz with Yogi Cameron reminded me that the ancient traditions from the East are worthy of attention by people in the West.

This young man, now a yogi who teaches yoga, diagnoses conditions, and makes recommendations for changes using an initial period of 28 days is making Dr. Oz rethink his references to the amount of time it takes to see a significant change in your health.

Cameron practices early in the morning and again later in the day. His poses looked like he knows what he’s doing. He has a little further to go before he masters Tongue Diagnosis, because he didn’t comment on some of the aspects of the audience member’s tongue presentation other than the coating on the back of her tongue.

Tongue and Pulse Diagnosis are commonly used in the Eastern Healing traditions to evaluate a person’s state of health and point to conditions inside the body without exploratory surgery, X-Rays, or other diagnostic tools that you will find in the West.

Each person is unique and presents differently, so you cannot make sweeping conclusions for anyone in 28 days, but it’s a nice thought. 28 days is a good beginning and long enough to ‘feel’ a change taking place as long as you follow the recommendations every day for that month.

You might notice a few headaches and other signs of detoxification if your system is especially toxic. But most people won’t feel much with the initial changes as the body will strengthen first and then detoxify when it is stronger.

The drinking of hot water or hot Chamomile Tea is fine in the morning. It’s better than shocking your system with coffee, fast food, or a heavy breakfast. Most of you will still benefit from eating some fresh organic fruit in the mornings or else you might be tempted to ‘cheat’ before you make time for lunch. Blueberries, any kind of berry, bananas, grapes, papaya, pineapple, guava, mango, peaches, cherries, and other fresh fruit are ideal in the morning as long as you don’t combine the fruit with any cereal or whole grain.

Many macrobiotic regimens suggest that you eat a good breakfast with whole grains, beans, sea vegetables, a fermented food, and vegetables to get your day started with a strong intake of nutrients and energy. It depends upon you as an individual. If you are weak, then eat a hearty breakfast; but if you are relatively sturdy, you can by with a fresh fruit breakfast or a fruit Smoothie.

Yogi Cameron’s regimen over the course of 28 days will give you an idea of how you can make simple changes that allow your body to begin to find health and well-being more plausible and attainable. The substitution of whole foods for processed foods is one step that is essential for you to improve your health. The use of salt baths for your nasal passages and ghee applications is an individual decision based upon your specific health status.

If you begin to do a little Yoga, you will propel your changes more rapidly, because of the bio-energetic component that is included in the practice of Yoga. Yoga can both invigorate and calm your body and mind.

After your initial 28 days, take stock of the changes that you ‘feel’ by using a Journal to record your daily progress. Then you will be more motivated to go for the next 28 days!

TheDoctorsTV and the Dare to Do Things That You Would Never Normally Do!

The doctors are repeating the last episodes of the last season before the new season begins this month, so today was the big “Dare” show.

Dr. Travis had to face his worst fear…

Dr. Lisa thinks there is a difference between the pain thresholds of men and women.

No doctor in their right mind should take the dare to put Hot Sauce into their mouths or their digestive systems. That’s not funny, it can be painful and it can injure the sensitive tissue of the digestive system. Only fools dare to do this to their bodies…

Insects, bugs, and creepy crawlers were presented as a ‘dare’ to eat a live creature that is not normally consumed in our culture. But some people get a kick out of doing things that are considered to be ‘abnormal’ or beyond reason. I think this is childish. But then there are those doctors who think it’s funny.

Dr. Jim got a chance to experience Acupuncture. That’s not much of a dare, except that you might just feel much better following a series of treatments. If it’s daring to use an ancient healing method to restore Balance to the bio-energetic systems and the organs of your body, then this is one dare that is worth taking any day of the week!

The fear for many people is about needles, not Acupuncture. If the acupuncturist has been properly trained, most people will not feel the needle insertion. Some people will feel the chi or ‘energy’ move once the acupuncturist calls the chi. This is a specific technique. It can be very beneficial for your health and well-being.

The dare with Acupuncture is to risk going beyond the Western concept of Healing and embracing Eastern knowledge and wisdom to gain the health benefits that have been derived from those systems for thousands of years. But I ‘double dare’ you to find a qualified practitioner who is trained in TCM, not just an MD. There are too many MDs who think that a weekend course in Acupuncture is enough to start treating their patients and that is simply NOT true.

The dare that Dr. Drew refused to take on his own and was willing to pay an audience member $100 to be his surrogate was for a male waxing of the genitalia. The ‘manscape’ procedure is rather daring and most men would never get their second waxing… I personally cannot support either male nor female waxing. Your hair is there for good reason. This is not a dare that anyone needs to accept.

This topic is not as much about Stress as it is about behavioral choices by adults who often behave like children. It’s one thing to respond to a stressor in your environment, but quite another thing altogether to plan to execute a specifically crafted ‘dare’ that induces Stress unnecessarily for all the wrong reasons.

There were several others instances for daring experiences, but the point that I want to bring to your attention is that if you are not comfortable doing something, anything; then don’t proceed no matter how much anyone else goads you into it. Taking dares when it makes you feel uncomfortable or fearful or stupid is a sign of immaturity, irresponsibility, and a serious lack of judgment. You have to be willing to take full responsibility for every choice you make when you engage in a healthy Lifestyle.

Anything less is unacceptable…

Dares are not always humorous, dares are not always safe, and dares are not the way to prove yourselves…

Be true to yourself. It is one thing to challenge yourself to step beyond your present limitations and boundaries in order to grow as a natural process of becoming a more experienced human being. It is irrational to do things that might make you feel miserable, injure you, or cause you discomfort or harm. It’s not a game, it’s not a contest, and it’s not fair to have to be forced to accept a dare that you would never consider on your own. Your Will is one of your most prized possessions and you should NEVER give away your personal Power to anyone.

Doctor Oz and His New Secret Weapon Against Cancer: Gouda Cheese

Dr. Oz welcomed this information from his guest expert who described how hard aged cheeses can have a profound effect on cancer in the human body when eaten regularly.

This guest specifically named: Gouda

Gouda is a hard aged cheese that can be found in specialty foods stores and cheese shops. You can find quality Gouda online by vendors who specialize in artisan cheese.

Gouda and other hard cheeses would need to be consumed regularly to be effective in the body’s ability to ward off cancer.

If you say this out loud with a bit of an accent, it will be funny, “Gouda For You!”

In addition to Gouda, there are other choices like Edam, Emmenthaler, and Jarlsburg which are all good with fresh fruit, eaten as part of a cheese platter, or placed upon a crustini as is done in Europe.

It’s more than the K2 in the aged cheese. It is a combination of all of the co-factors that are only available in the whole food. So don’t be fooled into thinking that you can take a supplement to get the same degree of protection. Just be sure to remember to balance your intake of dairy products with citrus fruits and whole grains at other times of the day. Cheese is not meant to be heated to high heaven, melted, or microwaved into oblivion, but rather to be enjoyed in the traditional ways that have been passed down through the centuries from our ancestors in Europe.

TheDoctorsTV and Unhealthy Foods: Do You Know What’s In the Food You Eat?

This repeat episode of TheDoctorsTV is worth watching twice to fully comprehend the toxic chemicals that are placed in the foods you eat without your knowledge or approval.

The agencies, the industry giants, and the watchdog groups you are expected to trust to be able to protect the quality of the Food Supply have failed you. You are now being subjected to a ‘chemical soup’ that is directly responsible for causing degenerative disease.

You can talk about the poisons and chemicals in your processed foods until the sun comes up again three months from now and you still won’t cover all of the associated problems that are being exposed by doctors and others like me who are helping you come to terms with the facts that these processed foods are NOT healthy for you.

What is important is to consciously make an informed decision to eliminate processed foods and return to eating ONLY whole foods. This is the only way that you can actually ensure your health and wellness.
