Dr. Oz is venturing into the family kitchen and dinner table to address some of the important health issues with a change in food choices.
This is the most refreshing development that I have seen this season on Doctor Oz!
He and his family eat better than most Americans, but he still has a lot to learn about whole foods and food preparation. Give him time and he’ll do better…
The Doctor Oz Show and the 100 Item Grocery Shopping List
Dr. Oz went shopping with a mom and her brood to see how challenging this regular outing can be for one family that represents most people in this country. It was a ‘zoo’, instead of a shopping experience. If a mom is going to take her young children to the grocery store, she needs to maintain control and manage their behavior much better than this mother.
I would advise mothers or fathers to have one parent stay at home with the children while the other parent goes shopping. That parent can take one child and instruct that child in the ‘ways of the world’ with little interruption, interference, or stress. It’s the smart thing to do, instead of taking all four through the aisles in a spectacle of monumental proportions.
The 100 Foods that Doctor Oz wants you to shop for is a ‘compromise’ between the common unhealthy processed foods that families purchase at the store and the ideal ‘whole foods’ that will eventually lead to a truly authentic healthy Lifestyle. Dr. Oz cut his guest family a lot of slack, especially the spoiled young children who need more lessons in appreciation of even having food on their table when so many kids are starving or hungry in the world.
This 100 Food List should NOT be considered the ‘be all to end all’ List of foods and beverages to buy when you go shopping, but it is a place to start for those who have compromised the diet and the health of the next generation, because they are too busy or too unskilled to prepare healthy food in their kitchen to ensure that their family eats well.
One parent needs to have the skills to prepare health food and beverages in the home for the adults as well as the children. It’s better when the entire family gets involved in the kitchen and pitches in to prepare, eat, and clean up after each meal. I learned how to poach an egg, make scrambled eggs and bacon, make toast, butter toast, cook a pot of oatmeal, and whip up the batter for waffles and pancakes when I was young…from the age of 3 on up I spent time in the kitchen with my mother. Occasionally my father would demonstrate how to cook a steak, how to make tea, and how to do dishes…
The first memory that I have in the kitchen is when my mother asked me to hold the paperbag while she put in cinnamon, sugar, and the fresh Italian donuts she made herself. It was my job to shake them up, so the cinnamon sugar would coat the donut holes completely. I always got to eat the first one and that was my reward for all that hard work at age 3! I learned to prepare Italian food and American food from scratch as any woman from the ‘old country’ learned to do and it’s time for all parents to do this again.
That young son of the guest family on Dr. Oz and his sister needs to be humbled while they change their taste buds to include healthier food. The soy burger idea from Dr. Oz is realistic and we would recommend GardenBurgers to you which have the best texture and flavor of any that we have eaten. The poaching of enough chicken for the week is also a time saver and that mother could learn a lot from Rachael Ray on how to prepare 5 meals in one day for the rest of the week for her family for better time-management.
I cannot condone the canned tomatoes or the canned mushrooms (Rocco DeSpirito) as a healthy alternative to fresh produce. It’s more of an issue with time-management which can be arranged by both parents, so that one parent can slice the fresh tomatoes, prepare a salad, steam some fresh organic vegetables, and offer fresh organic fruit to their family for meals. Canned food is a great idea for Preparedness for emergencies and natural disasters, but while you still have fresh organic produce available or you can garden, that’s the only healthy choice.
Dr. Oz did make the points for organic dairy products. Organic milk, butter, cheese, sour cream, cream cheese, yogurt, kefir, buttermilk, and specialty cheeses like ricotta, parmesan, marscapone, and others are like ‘day’ and ‘night’ when compared to their counterparts that are poisoned with agricultural chemicals, synthetic growth hormones, pasteurization, unnecessary anti-biotics, and other toxins that are commonly used in the commercial agricultural industry. Regardless of price, you simply must use all organic ingredients and grass-fed, free-ranging meat and eggs. Anything less will still risk the health of the next generation!
Please, please, please do not swap out applesauce for oil in any baking recipe. Any recipe that calls for flour should not have any acid or sub-acid fruit combined within the mixture. It interferes with the needed digestive enzymes and impairs digestion. Use healthy oils like olive oil, sesame oil, grapeseed oil, and other healthy selections, but refuse to use canola oil!
These children need to eat fresh organic nuts, seeds, fruit, vegetables, snacks, and desserts, instead of pushing the preferable alternatives to chips, fries, and cereals. It’s important that you don’t cater to the bad habits of your children, but introduce them to real healthy solutions instead of making a compromise to avoid those ugly frowns and sulky faces. Dr. Oz had to plead and pray that those kids would say, “yes” to his alternative suggestions. In my house, the children were more than happy to eat the whole foods that were delicious, instead of going to bed hungry. Our family knew how to cook, so that the organic and natural foods all tasted great! It does, it can, and anyone that says it cannot is lazy and uninformed…
Even Rocco has a learning curve… His lower calorie, less fat Lasagna was less than ideal. It was passable, but not the probable dish that most women would prepare once a week for their families. It’s still too much cheese and where’s the whole grain? It would be better to roll some of the ricotta mixture in a slice of zucchini or eggplant, place some grated cheese on top of the rolls, bake them to melt the cheese and warm the interior of the rolls, an then top them off with an organic marinara sauce that includes roasted garlic. That would be a miracle meal for the health-conscious trying to improve the quality of their food with simple recipes!
Do NOT microwave your frozen whole grain brown rice! Do steam or boil the packet until defrosted and heated to the ideal temperature for serving. Whole grain dishes don’t take that long when you use a pressure cooker or plan your time in the kitchen. Rocco may be known for his brownies and his dinner parties, but he’s not the best model for parents or individuals who want to learn to make genuinely healthy food for themselves and their families. Dr. Oz needs to book better chefs and people who know how to prepare organic whole foods as the ‘cuisine of choice’.
There are people around the country that the Food Network staff is familiar with and can refer to the producers of Doctor Oz! You can find demonstrations of whole food preparation methods at your local Whole Foods Markets or comparable stores like the PPC Coops in our area. You can even hire a professional chef to train you to prepare a few new recipes, instead of compromising and only going half-way to healthy!
For parents who want to expose their children to the ‘whole foods’ movement in America: just take your children shopping at your local Whole Foods Market. There are aisles upon aisles of healthy options and alternatives that taste much better than the old choices you must stop eating. There are taste tests by the manufacturers offered during the day in most stores. The Deli in these stores also allow you to taste a dish before you purchase some. Let your children sample this healthy food and you’ll find them saying, “YES” to these amazing new whole foods. You’ll be a better parent and you will save money in other areas of your health care budget. The kids will be well-behaved and happier! You’ll be smiling all the way to the store, too.

I would never accept these individuals or couples as patients, because I see the men as perfect examples of the ‘walking dead’.
They are beyond the scope of traditional health care by most standards and in need of serious psychological counseling along with medical intervention.
Jillian is taking on people who are exhibiting behavior that is self-destructive. Death to them would be the release from their suffering and pain.
You can review the case studies and the stories of these three couples who Dr. Travis and Jillian are working with as a part of their “Wake-Up” segment for TheDoctorsTV show.
TheDoctorsTV and Jillian’s Wake-Up Call
The first clue that the men are far from serious was the test at the grocery store when they were sent to shop for food. They bought beer and cigarettes. They are self-sabotaging idiots who have no respect for themselves, their wives, their society, or their unborn child.
Jillian is taking on quite a project and it wouldn’t be airing if she were not successful in the end, so we know that she and the doctors will push these people through a breakthrough process at some point.
There’s not enough screaming, truth, hammering the medical facts into their heads, or holding their hands that could convince me that they will not return to unhealthy behavior when all is said and done. When they leave the confines of the house and go back to daily living, I would anticipate that they get back in the routine that is killing them.
I have told you before that the lasting motivation for changing to live a healthy Lifestyle must come from within to endure and thrive. These men cannot do it alone, they require constant attention and monitoring…and for how long will that have to continue into the future. Can anyone babysit another human being for the rest of their lives?
Jillian signed up for this job and her work is cut out for her. It reminds me more of a Dr. Phil episode, so I cannot say that I have any investment in the outcome.
I simply want to acknowledge you for finding my Blog on your own and learning what you can from what I can share with you. If you can do your own work, then no one can ‘steal your thunder’ or take your accomplishments away from you.

I truly believe that Dr. Oz would like the same stature that Deepak Chopra and Dr. Andrew Weil share within the holistic medical community. It will be several years down the road with a lot more information under his belt before Dr. Oz will merit that ranking with these two.
Dr. Oz with Andrew Weil and Deepak Chopra
I accepted the definition of Holistic Health and Holistic Medicine that was offered by the two physicians turned health and wellness coaches. All three of them tried to take credit for medical doctors moving into the ‘holistic model’ and spreading the word when it is actually the patients who have driven this change among the approach that doctors in America must adopt in order to continue to sustain their Private Practices and be relevant.
People gave up on most doctors trained in the traditional disease and drug model of Western Medicine. They would only make an appointment with those physicians who had listened to their patients and the demands of an educated and well-informed public who had taken the leap to holistic health in lieu of disease management and drug dealing.
Even Deepok learned that people in southern California were already far beyond the limitations of Western Medicine, so he had to return to his cultural roots to incorporate Ayurvedic practices to gain the attention of all of us living in California at the time when his star began to rise. He has grown as much as anyone while embracing the ancient knowledge of his Indus River Valley origins. I like his morning practice of massaging hands and feet with sesame oil
Dr. Andrew Weil has found his niche in whole foods and the Whole Person. This also comes out of southern California when we celebrated at our regular ‘Whole Beings’ weekend events in the mountains. I taught there on occasion. Weil was correct to point out that Western Medicine was restricted to the physical health of the body and that he had to include the mind and spirit connection which cannot be ignored for the total well-being of each individual. Dr. Weil can teach Dr. Oz about whole foods with his butternut soup, breakfast eggs, and even the seitan, tempeh, and vegetarian replacements for meat.
I was not impressed nor in agreement with the choices of supplements or solutions for common ailments. The use of water vapor with the potent Essential Oil of Oregano for a cough was not wise. Any Aromatherapist worth their salt would tell you that you do not combine water with Essential Oils.
The better use of the Essential Oil of Oregano for an infectious cough or sore throat would be to diffuse the Oil into the rooms of your house or office. If you want to use water vapor, then use a bulk herbal blend; but NOT an Essential Oil. Dr. Oz offered a better application for Oregano to be applied to the chest. You should blend the Essential Oil of Oregano with a carrier oil, because it is too ‘hot’ alone when you apply it directly to the skin.
The better treatment for a cough would be the Prince of Peace Loquat Syrup which soothes the throat and disperses the congestion while reducing the ‘heat’. Another natural treatment for a cough is organic lemon juice, pure water, and honey. The person who gets a cough should also reduce or eliminate bread, cereal, and dairy. If there is any indication of an infection, then GSE with purified water taken every couple of hours until the symptoms are gone is preferable.
These doctors are still novices when it comes to supplementation. It is more than an insurance policy to justify the use of certain nutritional supplements and there needs to be accurate testing done on each individual for supplements, instead of an ‘across the board’ approach that is taken by these medical doctors. Whole foods are much the same and that takes us into the territory of the sustainable garden and kitchen which still appears to be foreign ground for these guys. Anyone who would not know enough to ‘cook’ their spices before putting them on a piece of fish and coaxing an audience member to taste it that way…has a long way to go before being seen as a true expert in holistic health care.
Look…these boys are doing their best, but they need to do better. Meditation takes practice and most of the Oz audience is not known for their intellectual skills of focus. Even Dr. Oz tried to sell something with the promise of ‘weight loss’. It sounds more like a pharmaceutical sales rep, instead of a genuine Healer…
At least they are ahead of their reluctant colleagues, but Holistic Health Care is ‘the name of the game’ now and into the future.

I would like to reluctantly comment briefly on this horrific episode. I wasn’t going to weigh in on this show, but I feel that some parent who wakes up to the medical facts that Dr. Travis and the other panel members are trying to hammer into the dense head of this woman and mother about her daughter could benefit from this message.
The message is: Do Not Force Your Child to Vicariously Live Your Life!
It’s one thing for this stupid woman to use botox and use cosmetic surgery to alter her appearance. It’s her body and she is free to destroy it, manipulate it, and perform any number of surgical procedures she can afford until she croaks. She is clueless and her beauty is superficial and transient.
TheDoctorsTV and When a Mother Goes Too Far
The doctors have confronted her and told her that she has gone too far with her daughter. Her daughter doesn’t need botox nor does she need cosmetic surgery vouchers for future operations at her age. She is being psychologically programmed against her Will to accept her mother’s Lifestyle, ethics, and behavior. It’s not healthy for that child.
If anyone knows this woman, I would encourage you to notify Child Protective Services to conduct an investigation and determine if she if actually fit to parent this child. The child’s health and mental well-being is clearly at risk. If this mother doesn’t get some counseling and change the way she is controlling her daughter’s young and impressionable mind, body, and emotions, she will do irreparable damage to that child. If a child ever needed to be sheltered from an unhealthy parental attitude and behavior, this would quality.
She ignored the information that Dr. Travis gave her about the repercussions of what she is doing to her daughter. Even the discussion about hair spray went over her head. She is going to continue to force her child into a life of servitude to play out a mother’s needs and fantasies through her child when she is too old to experience these things herself. She needs psychiatric care.
I am not a fan of pageants and artificial beauty. A young woman is taught to find flaws and try to fix what is not truly broken. It’s abusive. When you focus on outer beauty, instead of inner beauty and character; humanity loses. The time of objectifying women needs to end…once and for all. The shallow behavior of this mother is clearly ‘taking it too far’.
I have seen a mother coach her daughter to participate in pageants and it cost both of them dearly. It didn’t end well. I have also seen some good come from pageants, but it is all too rare. There are better platforms to build healthy lives around and dreams to be fulfilled that last beyond a swim suit, a gown, and a crown. Even the politically-charged and unorthodox questions that determine the winners are subjective and have no place in the race for recognition for beauty and brains. I would prefer to see an intelligent artist serve the public for a year than to see Miss Universe or Miss America or Miss Teen go through the artificial process that is called a pageant. It is without pride that I say this to those who promote such shallow activities.
I would hope that if you know of mothers or women who exhibit these shallow attitudes or behaviors…that you would interrupt their lives for a brief moment and tell them that they are worth more than their exterior appearance. They are uniquely special by the very virtue of being alive.
It’s child abuse to do what this mother is doing. Let’s hope it ends and that this child is salvaged from the wreckage of that mother’s unhealthy attitude! Pageants need to be revamped and changed to offer healthy choices and respect the inner beauty as well as the cultural concept of external beauty in the future.

Dancing with the Stars began their new season last night and we watched all of the new celebrities step onto the Dance Floor to ‘strut their stuff’.
The interesting thing for healthy Lifestyles is that these people who are overweight are dropping the pounds while they practice for each performance.
It’s the ideal method for trimming your waist line and getting rid of a few pounds while having a great time warming up the Dance Floor.
Nancy Grace has already lost ten pounds and it’s only the first dance after just a few weeks of practice to learn the steps, the arm and foot placements, and go to ‘wardrobe’.
Chaz Bono has about 50 pounds to lose, so we hope s/he stays in the competition long enough to shed the weight and change people’s attitudes about gender identity. It’s one thing to have an advocacy position and another thing to dance for your health and pure pleasure…
We found JR Martinez to be the ‘breakout’ star of the night! He dazzled us with his dancing and his joyful presence. After all that he’s been through in war and reconstructive surgery, he serves as an inspiration to everyone and he was a genuine pleasure to watch and root for such a fine human being.
Just because you are an athlete doesn’t mean you will be able to dance well. Just watch the basketball player and the soccer star…. They have a long way to go before we can can what they are doing ‘ballroom dancing’.
I was surprised to see some of the contestants like Ricky Price do so well. I hope that Derrick’s and Tony’s partners get enough votes to keep my favorite make professional dancers bringing us great choreography every week. Maks and his brother seem to have a little competition of their own going, so the routines should reflect their best efforts and their partners get the better end of that sibling rivalry…
If there is anything that is worth taking note when you want a fun and entertaining way to lose weight and tonify your beautiful body, it is ‘dancing’. Not crazy uncoordinated moves, but graceful and traditional movements from the world of ‘ballroom dancing’.
Ballet, Ballroom, Jazz, and other more traditional styles of dancing on programs like ‘Dancing with the Stars’ and ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ are proving that when you dance often and well, you will be healthy and in excellent shape…barring any unforeseen injuries from exceeding your skill level or suffering an accident.
The movements in dance support the health of the lymphatic system, the muscular and skeletal systems, the nervous system, the circulatory system, and contribute to good digestion and flexibility. It’s the smart way to enjoy a healthy Lifestyle while sharing an intimate moment with your partner!

What about the rest of the best of us who have not had the time to write a book, create a TV show, appear on various venues, speak on the radio, or find it necessary to flash their names in front of the public?
We are here every day helping you learn about healthy Lifestyles. We are busy with people and with assisting colleagues to bring about changes for those who are quietly deciding to live longer, love better, feel well, and know genuine health.
Dr. Oz shared the ‘best of the Best’ with his audience, but it was largely old news. Some of these traditional approaches are still sound and effective today, but then there are trends like the cupcake girls who may have their own TV show, but are still contributing to the degenerative diseases that doctor’s love to treat with their sugar-laden cupcakes…regardless of calorie count and carrot shreds.
Surely, Oz could bring more progressive practitioners and knowledge to future shows. We have all heard about Vitamin D. We have all heard about exercise, although I wouldn’t depend upon major muscles squats alone being enough to produce HGH production in your body… Sometimes, the producers of the Dr. Oz show appear lazy to me!
Dr. Oz and the Best of the Best
At least you can enter the Giveaway and win a trip to the Spa with Dr. Weil at the link above. That’s probably the best that today’s show has to offer you.
And let’s talk ‘nut butter’!
Our ‘best’ source of organic healthy ‘nut butters’ and blends come from Love Street Living Foods. The company gives regular subscribers to their online Newsletter good discounts from time to time. But you will find all of the products here, especially the ‘nut butters’ to be worth the price. It’s fair, it’s fabulous, and it’s a favorite of ours…
Dr. Oz is addicted to his NuttZo. I haven’t tried it, so I cannot give you any personal opinion about this product in particular. But there are ‘nut butters’ that you can eat which will be both delicious and nutritious. Cashew Butter is one of my personal favorites. The contents of the ingredients in NuttZo all sound marvelous, so if you want to win a free jar, go to the Dr. Oz website tomorrow and enter the contest.
Dr. Oz Free NuttZo Giveaway
Nut Butters are better when eaten with other whole foods like whole grains, fresh organic fruits, or organic vegetables. We never tire of slathering nut butters along the stalk of celery. Sometimes we add a little sea salt and spices. Then we have moments when we prefer to add honey and raisins or some chopped dried pineapple to add a flavor profile that reminds us of a tropical paradise.
Nut Butters can be combined with organic chocolate or coconut to make incredible edibles. We spread some on a slice of toasted gluten-free bread for a healthy snack between meals. The spreads make a great dip for fresh organic strawberries, bananas, and apple slices. Use your imagination and delve into the delicious world of ‘nut butters’ which are better for you than stale peanut butter and jelly memories.

This isn’t new News, but every now and then, the subject of ‘probiotics’ appears in the media and there always seems to be a dozen commercials airing about different yogurts each week.
Award for Research article
Probiotics is defined this way in Wikipedia:
Probiotics Wikipedia Definition and Explanation
We watch as companies like Culturelle and Dannon and Activia all vie for dominance in the marketplace, but often fail to deliver a truly great product. The point is not so much about taste, texture, or country of origin as it is about the efficacy in the human digestive system.
You can choose Greek yogurt or French yogurt or yogurt made in any culture in the world, but unless the ‘culture’ is active and viable; it won’t be worth one little bite. The commercial yogurts don’t always deliver what they promise. But people have the general idea that eating yogurt is a part of a healthy Lifestyle. While we feel that this is true for the most part, it only works for the human body under very specific circumstances.
It’s not just about acidophilus… It’ not just about bifidus… It’s not even fair to compare unless you have more cultures of more microorganisms in the mix. If you expect to get all of the live cultures in one type of yogurt or supplement, you might be fooling yourselves. You would be better off to eat a variety of yogurts, kefir, kim chi, tempeh, sauerkraut, fermented vegetables, and other fermented foods which contribute to the replacement of a variety of microorganisms in your digestive system.
If you eat foods that are grown in healthy soils which contain these microorganisms, it’s better than taking supplements. So many civilizations have used fermented foods to ‘do the trick’ instead of supplements for centuries that you can follow the lead by consuming the real foods and rely upon food from healthy soil to supply what you need to repopulate your intestinal flora.
That’s what we called them before people started to use the term, ‘probiotics’. With the advent of antibiotics which kill the probiotics, it became clear to health care practitioners that we were going to have to replace the critters to ensure the healthy environment in the intestines. We used to order frozen cultures to provide a viable quantity of live cultures to do the job. We used to make our own yogurt and sauerkraut at home in the ‘old days’.
Then along came supplements that were better, less expensive, and more adept at providing the critters that people needed after antibiotics or a poor diet of processed foods or the reluctance of mothers to breastfeed their newborn infants to pass on the immunity and the cultures to their children.
You can read the original article published about Nature’s Biotics here: Critters
The industry grew up around us.
Now…you see all of the major brands of food products rushing in to attempt to get a portion of the marketshare. They have cute Greek guys taking tubs of yogurt to beautiful women saying that’s it the best thing in the world. They act as if they were the first to travel to Greece or France to bring back a different quality of yogurt. They are portrayed on shows like Dr. Oz and TheDoctorsTV as preferable. They come in dozens of fruit and artificial flavors to try to cover up the tartness of ‘real’ yogurt. Why are ‘they’ trying to change what works!?!
Does Dr. Oz even know how to make his own yogurt? Is Dr. Travis even aware of kefir or tempeh? Why do you listen to them?
The best probiotic supplement that we have ever tested are the SBOs from Life Sciences that we have discussed on this blog in previous posts. SBOs stands for “Soil-Based-Organisms”. Nature’s Biotics was the most complete formulation of numerous cultures that we have evaluated and found to restore Balance to the digestive system, the immmune system, and the lymphatic system.
Life Sciences Probiotics Information
There are others, but you should use the best, if you decide to supplement your probiotics. However, the most ideal solution is to consume fermented foods. We would like you to know that VitalChoice carries five delicious choices that are worthy of your attention.
VitalChoice Fermented Foods
The pickled or cultured vegetables are fantastic. From sauerkraut to daikon, from carrots to beets, you won’t be disappointed when you get your probiotics from fermented foods. In macrobiotics, people eat a pickled vegetable with every meal. It matters for your health and wellness… So try some tempeh, drink some amasake, nibble on some kim chi, and feast on sauerkraut on a regular basis.
For your own health, go for the best from the soil as well as the best in supplementation…to be a good friend to your intestinal flora!

Our First Lady, Michelle Obama, is far ahead of other first ladies by calling for healthier foods for children, restaurants, and all Americans.
If you’ll recall, she planted that GARDEN outside the White House and when people come to dine at with the First Family, they get much healthier food than in previous administrations.
The First Lady is in the News today for being vocal about her platform for Healthy Foods. This is the moment when you, too, can answer her Call.
First Lady Calls for Healthy Foods article
She wants to impact childhood obesity as an important issue that everyone can do something about to change the course of the health of this next generation. Recently, Michelle met with the folks at Olive Garden and discussed adding recipes for dishes for children that are healthier to their menu.
It’s a good beginning with fruit and vegetable side dishes for the children’s menu plus low-fat milk to help cut down on calories and sodium over the next year. Now, it’s not my ideal solution, because I would request that Olive Garden add organic whole foods vegetarian dishes to their menu, but then they don’t cater to people with my food preferences.
I used to eat at Olive Garden when we had to take picky eaters in our extended family out to eat, but then I realized that I was compromising my own standards. So I have not been to an Olive Garden restaurant in years. I did love their Endless Pasta campaign…
However, Darden Restaurants, Inc. is to be congratulated on their decision to work with the First Lady on behalf of all of their chains and franchises to offer healthy food for their clientele. Who knows…in time, if they realize that their economic health is tied into consumer demand, they will offer organic and vegetarian dishes for those of us who will not step foot into their establishments until they do.
In many ways, it’s a sign of the times. Fast Food chains like MacDonald’s, Wendy’s, Burger King, and others are bringing fresh salads, fresh fruit, and healthier choices to their tables. They will be able to tell that this is a smart move when they reconcile their sales and growth in market share. People will choose healthy foods that taste good when they have a choice… It’s an economic masterpiece for these companies, if they could only see the big picture.
If only Scott Faber knew my name, I have been pioneering this national issues of embracing a healthier Lifestyle for more than thirty years. He thinks that our First Lady is one voice that has been changing the landscape, but there have been millions of voices who simply haven’t had the public’s spotlight like our First Lady!
Scott, darling, I was one of the very first ‘voices’ that even used the term, “Healthy Lifestyle” in the 1980’s when I was training Lifestyle Therapists to assist people to eat healthy whole foods and engage in healthy Lifestyle choices. If only more people had listened to the vocal southern California voices in the early days, we would have tackled obesity, diabetes, heart disease, cancer, arthritis, and other degenerative diseases long ago and found three generations of our youth eating well. But we welcome the efforts of the First Lady and all those who listen to her.
We recognize the shifting attitudes of WalMart and other companies who are heeding her ‘Call to Action’. Apparently, it takes a visible First Lady to make this happen more rapidly and more publicly in the media limelight that has to answer to the campaigns of someone with Michelle’s stature. Whatever it takes, it takes, as long as it happens…
What Michelle is calling for is only the beginning, there’s much more to be done. But it’s a healthy start and the public will back up this effort with their pocketbooks, their support, and their suggestions. Perhaps now, the industry will listen more carefully.

It all starts with Patient Zero!
The lethal virus invades the human host and that person moves in the midst of other people in public places not knowing that she is the focal point for a new “Contagion” that will impact the world.
A virus can live on surfaces for many hours after contact and continue to infect any number of people who will then transmit the virus further to others and upon other surfaces until it’s sterilized or until the virus dies. This can lead to a pandemic within a short period of time due to the rapid movement of people in our culture.
People eat at restaurants, travel in the subway system, take airplane flights abroad, go shopping in malls, and attend sporting events among hundreds of other places where this type of pathogen can spread to millions of people. This results in an emergency situation which the CDC and other institutions have tried to prepare for to save lives. But the truth is that a virus or other pathogen can literally kill millions before it can be contained by the authorities.
Dr. Oz feels strongly that the world will at some point experience what the movie, “Contagion”, shows in the theaters right now playing somewhere near you. The movie is based upon the actual science demonstrating what will happen when this scenario is ‘real’ and set into motion anywhere across the globe. The fear of the scientists and researchers is that there are many places worldwide which cannot afford to have detection systems or labs which can readily identify and respond to such a pandemic.
Dr. Oz and Contagion: Information about the 5 Step Survival Kit
Dr. Oz and his guest experts share the most basic methods for stopping the spread of a pandemic, but there are so many more methods for you to use to ensure your survival and stop the transmission in your area.
Dr. Oz told his audience to stay home if you are sick, wash your hands, wear a mask, use an herbal product, and take a vaccine or flu shot if it is developed for the pandemic.
Although that is sound advice, it simply isn’t going to be enough for some people who will succumb. It is a good idea to implement these steps. But that’s too little too late…
I have no direct personal knowledge about the herbal supplement Dr. Oz recommends. I prefer to use those that have worked for me for decades and that are well-known in TCM practices that have proven themselves for thousands of years.
You could have been strengthening your Immune System from now until the pathogen is introduced into the environment. Your body’s ability to resist any pathogen is enhanced by the kind of ‘energy’ known as ‘Wei Chi’. Your acupuncturist can provide treatments at the office which will strengthen your immunity.
You can also prevent a viral agent, bacteria, or other pathogen from infecting you by applying specific Essential Oils to your body regularly as a preventive measure as well as when there is an event announced to the public. The Essential Oils of Oregano, Thyme, Rosemary, Lemon, Rosewood, Melaleuka or Tea Tree Oil, and several Blends of EOs are exceedingly effective. But they must be of pharmaceutical grade quality, not just some fragrance oil sold cheaply. You can get AuraCacia EOs or Oils from the companies that we have discussed in previous posts.
The application externally or the internal use of a mixture of GSE and purified water will also provide the necessary protection against a wide variety of pathogens, even thouse that have mutated in the natural environment or in a laboratory.
The doctors and the CDC and the media spokesperson are all deathly afraid of some of the samples in federal labs being released or used by rogue researchers or staff for nefarious purposes or stolen by foreign agents to wage a biological war against an enemy. Anthrax and smallpox are examples of pathogens that have been misused in the past. But it doesn’t take any secret mission or rotten apple to design a pandemic. The H1N1 has mutated and continues to do so, making vaccines that are effective against the ‘strain of the season’ viable. It’s not a perfect science…
One of the experts admitted that it takes six months to develop and prepare a flu vaccine for the next season and what was omitted was the fact that there are no guarantees that the vaccine will be effective against the next strain that infects the population. It’s a guessing game and they can’t predict it with any real accuracy yet. If you think that a flu shot is going to be effective, you need another movie to wake you up from your lethargic view. It’s the best they’ve got, but it is still insufficient in my book.
My advice to you is to live in rural areas, not in a big city that could be Ground Zero for Patient Zero. However, if you travel to the city or cannot leave the city, then at least learn about the methods for reduction of initial exposure. Furthermore, you can limit your exposure by taking precautions when eating at a public restaurant. Do not use a bottle of ketchup or a dispenser that other people randomly touch, unless you can ensure that the surface is clean and sanitary. Even the salt and pepper shakers can transmit a disease. Many establishments have single servings of condiments, seasonings, and sides that will reduce the chances of exposure. Ask for them…
In addition to a surgical mask, you can use an ozone machine or an UV device to eliminate the pathogens from the air that you are breathing and the surfaces that you touch which you have control over in your home or office. They are a little more expensive, but it’s worth your Life to have them when you need them the most. You can also use the GSE mixture to wipe down surfaces like counter tops, door knobs, light switches, phones, toilets, chairs, table tops, and other surfaces that could carry a pathogen. Those wipes are not completely effective against the mutant strains or other virulent pathogens, although they are good for many common bacteria, yeast, and fungi.
You can diffuse Essential Oils in your home and office. You can install a HVAC system that filters the air in your home, office, or safe room. You can grow plants which release oxygen into the air that you breathe. You can eat foods, use spices and herbs, and drink beverages that support your Immmune System at both a structural and functional level. Garlic, ginger root, oregano, thyme, lemon, lime, grapefruit, turmeric, onion, rosemary, peppermint, and other whole foods can be regularly included in your food preparation of dishes that will keep your body strong and resilient.
Last, but certainly not least, you can strengthen your bio-energetic field with the CieAura Holographic Chips and Wristbands. When your energy field surrounding your body is strong, most pathogens cannot permeate the boundary at the energetic level which offers you an entirely different degree of protection. If for some reason you are exposed to some pathogen, you can use your Rife Machine, UV device, or ZP Tech products to apply frequency information and light to remedy the situation as long as you know what you are doing.
Here’s a secret that I rarely share with anyone except those that pay to see me or consult with me. The frequency of 2020 can be utilized with a properly modulated square wave with a frequency generator or you can consume natural Vitamin C which resonates at this frequency every hour until your body comes into alignment with the energetic information to destabilize any pathogen. The pathogen will literally collapse when viewed under a certain microscope which we have seen occur.

Some people won’t change their horrendous habits unless someone like Jillian steps into their lives and bitches them out constantly until they force themselves to alter their patterns which are destroying their health.
Jillian is a beautiful badger. I am convinced that she has the best of intentions, but her demeanor defies the traditional medical platform of “First Do No Harm”. While most doctors would never approach their patients like a menacing badger, Jillian seems to thrive on this method.
Jillian and the doctors presented three couples they are going to be working with for Jillian’s “Wake-Up Call” segments on the TV show. I would refuse to take these people on. They are MORE than reluctant to change. But if they require some tough love, then it might as well come from Jillian.
Jillian needs to be careful. The anger, the frustration, the distress, and the emotion that she must mount to reach these dense idiots to get them to change will take a toll on her, too. I hope that she has a sacred place and people with which to replenish herself.
TheDoctorsTV and Jillian’s Wake-Up Call
Jillian is willing to get ‘in their face’ and yell and scream and force them to submitting to change. She is a real animal when she takes on a challenge. Her face becomes distorted, her energy changes from feminine to masculine, and she exhibits personality characteristics that remind me of a military regimen in boot camp. While this drill is not to my liking, there are some people who will respond to this approach.
If only they can learn to maintain a healthier Lifestyle after all the badgering is over and done with…she will have done something worthwhile for these three couples. If she can assist people to break their addictions and prevail beyond their obsessions, then the method serves a purpose.
