Martha Stewart and Soy Sauce: Make the Right Choice of Savory Soy Sauce Brands for Your Health
I am a little shocked that Martha admitted that she uses Kikkoman soy sauce on today’s episode while her assistant was preparing a dish with an Asian flair.
The brand of soy sauce that you use for flavoring any dish DOES matter. Your healthy Lifestyle depends upon using the best condiments that money can buy.
Kikkoman is not the ideal choice…
My personal favorite is San-J. One can select either or both shoyu or tamari. The shoyu contains wheat, so for those who are sensitive to gluten, you should not consume shoyu. You will want to purchase tamari which is only soy.
The tastes are comparable, but the tamari is ideal for adding flavor to whole grains, soups, sauces, dips, dressings, and other healthy dishes.
In many instances, tamari will replace salt in any recipe for taste. You will know exactly what I mean when you take your first sample of this delicious substance.
Kick the Kikkoman out of your pantry and find some San-J in your local Whole Foods Market or health food store. It will really change your attitude and opinion of soy sauce!
