Martha Stewart and Breast Cancer Prevention: Foods That Keep You in the Pink

Martha brought several experts on her TV show today who discussed breast cancer and prevention.

The best part of the discussion was the presentation of specific foods, spices, and Lifestyle behaviors which have been found to prevent or reduce the incidence of cancer in various human populations.

Coconut Milk is one of the natural foods which has been researched recently. Those Asian cultures and countries who consume the most coconut also have the least cancer. If you are going to drink Coconut Water or Milk, then make sure it’s organic. It’s ideal to buy the coconut and drink the water right after you open it. You can also cook with coconut oil and enjoy coconut yogurt.

Turmeric, flaxseed, salmon, rosemary, and other foods were presented as some of the best to eat on a regular basis. The beans were missing from the equation as was the seaweeds like kombu, wakame, hiziki, and nori. These whole foods are better perceived to promote Wellness, instead of preventing cancer – apples and oranges… Cancer does not exist in a balanced, healthy body.

Martha made a point of pronouncing ‘phytonutrients’ and it was explained what that means. A plant-based whole foods diet rich in Greens, root vegetables, fresh organic produce, and herbs really does make a profound difference in a person’s health.

Green Tea was also mentioned as clearly valuable for drinking or cooking with it for prevention. One of the experts also clarified the confusion about soy foods. He reconfirmed, as I have with you many times, that soy foods are ‘good’ for balancing estrogen in the female body. Tempeh, tofu, and tamari as well as edamame and other soy foods have been consumed for centuries in Asian cultures.

Stem Cell Research is promising and there have been great advances in the study of the use of stem cells for regenerating organs. It’s still in the infancy stage, so you’ll need to use herbal formulas and other holistic approaches to regenerate the body’s organs and systems for now. It’s more involved than just getting an injection…

Martha is doing a better job than the physicians on TV to bring the information about prevention to the television audience. Lifestyle factors like avoiding alcohol, smoking, eating processed foods, being sedentary, and living in a toxic environment do enter into the equation.

One of these days someone will be brave and virtuous enough to discuss the use of frequency with devices like the Rife Machine and other mechanisms for imparting bio-energetic information to the human body to both prevent and treat cancer. I am not going to get into this topic, but suffice it to say that it works! If only the pharmaceutical and Western Medical community would not be threatened by this knowledge, women and men would benefit immensely and the incidence of breast cancer would be reduced or become a thing of the past.
