Longevity is One Aspect of Healthy Living!
You take a good look at your Lifetime…and at some point in time, you are going to look at the length of your Life as one aspect of a healthy Lifetime. The equation for Longevity is comprised of one day and night at a time, added to the next and the next day following, week by week, month by month, year by year, decade by decade – until you arrive at the “century marker” of a long life.
Your foundation is provided by your genetic constitution. The manner in which you either build it up or erode it swiftly is based upon your environment and your daily choices.
At various point along this timeline which denotes your Lifetime, it is common to have an evaluation by healthcare professionals who give you a report of your status using clinical tests and medical procedures. These check-ups, in and of themselves, have value in giving you an overview of your health status and from that calculations, projections, and hypothetical estimations are derived for your future.
Medical check-ups are not going to be enough to improve your health. You must take daily action to improve health or allow the body to age which typically involves deterioration. Your conscious choices on a daily basis are necessary in order to become healthier and enjoy a longer, more productive Life.
The way you live each day, the way you sleep each night, and your state of Consciousness determines your “Quality of Life” at any given moment in time and over the entire course of your Lifetime. You alone are responsible for your health and happiness.
You may consult and depend upon the knowledge and expertise of others, but it is up to you to implement healthy behaviors daily to experience a good Life. This should be sufficient inspiration to learn about your Body/Mind/Spirit and make the connections that are most promising to lend themselves to your Longevity. It is a “work in progress” and a journey of decisions that alter the course of your Life like a river’s path is altered by the seasons changing gradually, yet consistently.
The food you eat, the water you drink, the exercise you get, the thoughts that guide you…only YOU and you alone can engage these choices about them on a daily basis. No doctor or clinic or institute can do it for you – they are simply benchmarks in the course of your existence. You get to fill in all the choices in between the benchmarks.
Longevity is earned through knowledge and its implementation. Foods, herbs, water…all of these life-sustaining elements play a role for you to work for you on your unique journey!
