Dr. Oz and the Best of the Best: What About the Rest of the Best for Your Health and Happiness
What about the rest of the best of us who have not had the time to write a book, create a TV show, appear on various venues, speak on the radio, or find it necessary to flash their names in front of the public?
We are here every day helping you learn about healthy Lifestyles. We are busy with people and with assisting colleagues to bring about changes for those who are quietly deciding to live longer, love better, feel well, and know genuine health.
Dr. Oz shared the ‘best of the Best’ with his audience, but it was largely old news. Some of these traditional approaches are still sound and effective today, but then there are trends like the cupcake girls who may have their own TV show, but are still contributing to the degenerative diseases that doctor’s love to treat with their sugar-laden cupcakes…regardless of calorie count and carrot shreds.
Surely, Oz could bring more progressive practitioners and knowledge to future shows. We have all heard about Vitamin D. We have all heard about exercise, although I wouldn’t depend upon major muscles squats alone being enough to produce HGH production in your body… Sometimes, the producers of the Dr. Oz show appear lazy to me!

At least you can enter the Giveaway and win a trip to the Spa with Dr. Weil at the link above. That’s probably the best that today’s show has to offer you.
And let’s talk ‘nut butter’!
Our ‘best’ source of organic healthy ‘nut butters’ and blends come from Love Street Living Foods. The company gives regular subscribers to their online Newsletter good discounts from time to time. But you will find all of the products here, especially the ‘nut butters’ to be worth the price. It’s fair, it’s fabulous, and it’s a favorite of ours…
Dr. Oz is addicted to his NuttZo. I haven’t tried it, so I cannot give you any personal opinion about this product in particular. But there are ‘nut butters’ that you can eat which will be both delicious and nutritious. Cashew Butter is one of my personal favorites. The contents of the ingredients in NuttZo all sound marvelous, so if you want to win a free jar, go to the Dr. Oz website tomorrow and enter the contest.
Nut Butters are better when eaten with other whole foods like whole grains, fresh organic fruits, or organic vegetables. We never tire of slathering nut butters along the stalk of celery. Sometimes we add a little sea salt and spices. Then we have moments when we prefer to add honey and raisins or some chopped dried pineapple to add a flavor profile that reminds us of a tropical paradise.
Nut Butters can be combined with organic chocolate or coconut to make incredible edibles. We spread some on a slice of toasted gluten-free bread for a healthy snack between meals. The spreads make a great dip for fresh organic strawberries, bananas, and apple slices. Use your imagination and delve into the delicious world of ‘nut butters’ which are better for you than stale peanut butter and jelly memories.
