Dr. Oz and Ovarian Cancer: The Fish Dish for Prevention

Finally…a physician who can cook and know the value of healthy food for the prevention of ovarian cancer.

Dr. Oz invited this physician to demonstrate his fish dish and the ingredients that have been researched to reduce the incidence of ovarian cancer in women.

The sea bass was steamed for a few minutes while a sauce was made with tomato, olives, garlic, onions, cloves, capers, black pepper, olive oil, turmeric, sea salt, and lemon juice. A salad with endive and olive oil complimented the fish. It was a reasonably healthy meal.

You can also prepare sea vegetables, miso soup, fermented vegetables, citrus fruits, whole grains, organic beans, legumes, and other spices like oregano, thyme, and rosemary in other dishes to also provide some modicum of preventive support. There are many foods which strengthen the body and keep it from developing cancer.

This doctor figured out that food is the best medicine when many of his patients kept asking him what they could eat that would help make a difference in the outcome of the diagnosis for cancer. He realized that food plays a vital role in health and prevention.

Doctor Oz and Ovarian Cancer Information

Red onions, endive, and sea bass were sited as the key foods by the guest doctor and Dr. Oz seemed pleased to hear this information. He can learn to cook, too. That bamboo steamer is one valuable kitchen item for steaming fish, vegetables, and other foods.

It was important for people to remember that the endive needs to be eaten raw in order to provide the greatest degree of preventive power. It is often used in salads and dishes that include Greens. You can fill the endive with chicken salad, egg salad, tofu salad, vegetables, whole grain blends, and many other food groupings to be used like a taco or tortilla which replaces the bread with the Greens.

Ovarian Cancer was discussed as the silent killer, but there are symptoms that have gone relatively unnoticed for decades by medical doctors until recently. Many women are more aware that something is happening in their bodies than the doctors who are supposed to find the problems. It was useful to hear the experts remind the women that they are the ones who control the examination of their bodies to find answers to their queries about symptoms and sensations. Don’t ever give your power away to a doctor…

The women whose doctor told her to quit listening to doctors on TV and to stop using the Internet to learn more about health and medical issues needs to have his ‘head’ examined! How dare he! What an ignorant man. He needs to go back to medical school for further training. If I were her, I would find a different physician and no longer trust a single word from that fool. His arrogance could have cost her her life…

It was a surprise to me to hear Dr. Oz say that the youngest patient that was diagnosed to his knowledge with ovarian cancer was only 11 years old. That’s a shocker… There had to be extenuating circumstances in that case. I had a friend who lost her life to ovarian cancer and she had given up when the medical establishment told her that her case was inoperable and terminal. I wish that she had allowed holistic professionals to save her life, but alas she chose to accept the gynecologist’s diagnosis instead.

Eat well, get holistic health care, and live long…
