Dr. Oz and Mapping Out Times to Manage Your Medical Moments and Time for a Healthy Lifestyle
We had a difficult time even listening to this episode, because it was more about what time management issues are a problem for doctors than it was a useful educational moment for patients.
Although, I must admit, that I would be far less likely to be scheduling an appointment with a physician who could not manage his own practice with more control and balance. If you are the patient and you have to figure out what time to set an appointment or have a procedure done in order to get quality care; then there’s something wrong with that physician’s practice and approach to his discipline. Change doctors…
It seems that it might work out better for the individual to find the time to follow a healthy Lifestyle, instead of trying to be compliant with the doctor’s schedule and mood. Yikes, you don’t want to put yourself in the hands of someone that alters the quality of medical care you receive based upon what time you arrive at the office and the stage of rushing and panic to get all the patients seen before the end of the office hours. That’s no way to manage one’s medical practice, clinic, or hospital. Patients should not have to settle for this LACK of time management from medical professionals…or are they still practicing. OK, it seems that a little sarcasm applies to this situation in order to encourage change.
I have left an office when left waiting half an hour past my scheduled appointment time. I have billed the doctor’s office for wasting my time. Time, my time and yours, is valuable.
If you want to conduct your daily existence based upon the statistical analysis of when people are most likely to die, where they die more often, or what some percentage of people studied are doing to make the conclusions that keep you living in an artificial manner, then be my guest. But you’ll never enjoy an authentic Life that’s healthy, secure, and magnificent when you fear those statistics might shed light on your plight. Don’t give away your power…
The only thing that even remotely appealed to me was the discussion about the viscosity of one’s blood. If you are working diligently to eat whole foods, natural beverages, and quit eating processed foods; then it goes with the territory that you are altering the quality of your blood. If you are eating bacon that is healthy; then it doesn’t have to be reserved for breakfast. Burgers in the evening are OK as long as the beef, turkey, or other meat used to build the burger is healthy and enhanced with natural seasonings, spices, herbs, and garnishes. You cannot keep eating the fast food burgers any time of the day and be truly healthy…period. This is NOT an either/or time proposition, it’s all about adopting a healthy Lifestyle without compromise.
Are you living in a constant state of health or are you cheating yourself all the time? If you are going to worry about time, then instead of mapping out time management for your medical expert, spend time living WELL.
