You certainly can keep a Journal or begin a Food Blog online, but do you think that you are disciplined enough to make your regular entries when you can’t even manage to control your hand in a bag of chips or the door to the fridge? Right…so unless you are ready to turn over a new leaf, it’s better to begin with making conscious decisions when you handle food.
Conscious Eating is a ‘Way of Life’. Once you learn to love yourself, you will find that caring for the way you interact with food becomes a labor of love. Then your previous behavior is replaced with intentional choices.
Every morsel of food and every sip of a beverage is engaged with conscious awareness. You don’t mindlessly consume food anymore. You choose your food to eat what is going to nourish and support your body. You put all the love and care into your food preparation that you would give to any other sacred activity in your life. You treat food with reverence and honor the food that you give your body.
Great food choices come from knowing what that food is being eaten to accomplish. You only eat to nourish your body, to maintain balance, and to embellish your beautiful Life with good food and healthy beverages.
You don’t sabotage yourself when you eat consciously. You engage eating as a way to demonstrate the degree of love you have for your precious Life. This is the way to be WELL…

Its like you read my mind! You seem to know so much about this, like you wrote the book in it or something. I think that you could do with a few pics to drive the message home a little bit, but other than that, this is fantastic blog. An excellent read. I will certainly be back.
