Dr. Oz and 5 Ways in 5 Days to Solve Your Health Problems: From Fatigue to Memory Loss
Dr. Oz likes to give his audience a List of a number of things you can do to ‘fix’ a health problem in a relatively short period of time. It’s one of his greatest flaws in the way a doctor thinks about wellness…
Today Dr. Oz told people that within five days they could do five things to solve some major medical problems. Trust me, it takes more than the limited advice he gave today to resolve these for the rest of your life.
Dr. Oz and 5 Ways in 5 Days to Fix Your Worst Fears
One of your main fears is that you lose your ability to sense your environment. Your food doesn’t taste the same, you don’t feel things the way you once did, you can’t see or hear as well as you did when you were younger, and your sensitivity has lessened substantially. What are you to do?
Dr. Oz thinks that a dose of vitamin B12 will help your nerves. He thinks that alpha lipoic acid will heighten your sense of smell. He believes that zinc will improve your ability to taste what you put into your mouth. I would suggest to you that you eat foods that are rich in these nutrients and only take isolated nutritional supplements for a short period of time when your food intake is restricted.
Next, Dr. Oz wanted to help women improve their skin by offering a blended brew of cinnamon and nutmeg. Rather than using questionable spices directly on your skin, you can use Essential Oils and get more of a health benefit. For the skin, Dr. Oz could have recommended that you get more minerals and healthy oils into your daily food choices from vegetables, whole grains, nuts, and seeds. He finally talked about Chia Seeds as a ‘superfood’ and gave a recipe to show his favor with this powerful seed.
You will find Chia Seeds, Flax Seeds, and other ‘real Superfoods’ at Love Street Living Foods which will do more for you than the few benefits that were mentioned by the guest expert with Dr. Oz smiling over his likeness for his own chia seed pet man. You should grind your chia seeds, instead of wasting them by sprouting them on weird objects!
Dr. Oz then went where he often goes…into the sexcapades. He thinks that you should avoid soybeans, sauerkraut, and coffee, even though he recommended those foods over the last couple of weeks for a variety of reasons. He is of the opinion that when a woman is too tired at the end of the day, these foods will not help her libido. I must disagree. Soy foods have long been associated with the regulation of female hormone levels in the body, although the isolated soy protein does not offer that same response and has been linked to imbalances.
If you are going to get a buzz on with coffee to enjoy some private time with your sexual partner, then drink it an hour before you anticipate the need for some extra energy. Furthermore, you should NEVER wash your sauerkraut! That is STUPID advice from Doctor Oz who is a dork in the kitchen. You are not going to eat a cup of kraut at one time and the sodium in the salt from the fermenting process is not used the same way by the body as salting your food with commercial salt that has other ingredients besides sodium and chloride that the body must eliminate for homeostasis.
While pears, watermelon, and garlic are excellent foods to eat on a regular basis, they are not the best foods for improving your libido; although they do provide minerals, vitamins, and other nutrients for general health. Dr. Oz needs to be much more specific when he dives into the foods which drive sexual performance.
Next, Dr. Oz addressed Joint Pain. He was helpful in recommending arnica cream for the knees and other painful joints that are inflamed. But they also need nutritional support with minerals like calcium and boron and MSM which supplies the body with sulfur compounds. Essential Oils are more effective when dealing with painful joints and better than trying to use exercise to stabilize the way you work out your body. It’s better not to exercise until your joints are free from pain with the exception of gentle stretching, swimming, or massage therapy.
Finally, Dr. Oz stated that red onions, rosemary, and eggplant are going to help with brain function and memory as will wheat noodles, peanuts, and spinach. Women fear memory loss as they age and many foods supply the minerals and nutrients that drive the function of the brain and nervous system. There are many, many more foods than these six that are helpful when it comes to improving your memory. We generally suggest that people include some Ginkgo Biloba as part of an herbal formulation for this purpose as well as using Peppermint Essential Oil for memory and recall. But you really have to eliminate the pollutants in the atmosphere in the air that you breathe while you increase the oxygen and fresh air that you find in the mountains away from the cities which also improves your brain function. It’s not as simple as the Dr. Oz Five Fix…
