DoctorsTV and Oz: Alternative Therapies Like Acupuncture and Chiropractic
Dr. Oz had Mercola and Deepok on his show which reiterated what we have shared for fifty years with people. The Body, Mind, Spirit connection is integrated and all healing comes from a healthy Lifestyle which leads to a fulfilled lifetime of wellness and well-being. The whole foods and beverages you choose, your attitude, your every choice begins to form the relationships which provide for optimal health and a Life well-lived. But the doctors and the philosophers just don’t go far enough; it’s time to be your own Master.
Health and Wellness is much more than krill oil, flaxseed oil, walnuts, and other specific foods. It’s more than meditation and silence. It’s more than a group of nutritional supplements.
Mercola did make a good point when he said not to pick a supplement for a disease. That is a definite mistake… If you are going to supplement your whole foods diet with a nutritional supplement; then do it based upon your dietary choices to bring balance to your need for nutrients and energy.
Deepok also said something worthwhile about sleep. Don’t worry about getting a good night’s sleep, because it precludes it from happening. Just sleep!
The woman who I am not familiar with does a great job of suggesting whole foods and a healthy Lifestyle. Her knowingness of building her spiritual practice into her daily life is her gift of wisdom for you.

On TheDoctorsTV, Dr. Travis kept wondering if Chiropractic was safe. I don’t think that he has personally experienced many chiropractic sessions in his short life yet. If he was familiar with Chiropractic care; then he would never need to ask that question twice! The people who have directly benefited from this alternative therapy which is more mainstream than most other holistic approaches are the ones to listen to about this. Acupuncture is also now mainstream and with Massage Therapy and Herbology right on the way to being a daily routine for well-being.
The next real alternative approach is going to be our Sustainable agricultural and food production and preparation systems. This is the first and last frontier for Wellness and a truly healthy Lifestyle.
