Cosmetics with Chemicals Have Consequences Due to Toxicity
The physicians who wear make-up to appear healthy and good-looking on television have demonstrated their own hypocrisy today while discussing the implications of toxicity due to the phthalates in common cosmetics like lipstick. These cosmetics are composed of synthetic chemicals that can damage the human body when applied, swallowed, or absorbed by the body. It’s not glamorous!
The doctors suggested that there were no obvious options, because people won’t give up their cosmetics by simply giving up their use. But I beg to differ… I am proof that you can be vibrant and beautiful without wearing any make-up or use of cosmetics. I quit wearing mascara when I was 13 and noticed that when I applied the mascara on my eyelashes to accentuate my dramatic interpretation presentations at speech meets; the lids of my eyes would get red and irritated.
Physicians Face Chemical Toxicity of Cosmetics for Pregnant Women and Others
I eventually learned more about how companies like Revlon conducted experiments on rabbits to test their cosmetics to the detriment of the bunnies. I then researched the cosmetic industry and concluded that it was irresponsible to use any product with synthetic chemicals. Rachael Perry was the first to bring out a line of natural lip gloss and other green companies have followed their lead over the years to bring many organic and healthy cosmetics and personal care products to market. The doctors are in the dark, because they don’t shop where we shop.
When you watch the segment about the toxic phthalates in lipstick, you’ll get a better idea of the extent of the problem. Women, even female doctors, are vain. Men have the capacity to illustrate this personality trait as well and find it difficult to change their behavior when it comes to using toxic products on their bodies for the sake of appearance. This illusory approach to the pretense of appearing better than you usually look without make-up can be addressed with a healthier attempt to replace toxic products for organic and natural choices of cosmetics. Yes, Virginia, they do exist! You can find many companies who offer remarkable products when walking through your local whole foods markets.
It will be equally important to detoxify your body from these toxins if you have used chemically-laden cosmetics for any length of time. I have made previous recommendations about methods that will safely remove these chemicals from the human body in earlier posts, but you may leave a comment if you are unfamiliar with my suggestions.
Remember – You are beautiful with or without make-up given that true beauty comes from within… Doctors and television celebrities fail to realize that they are more transparent and vacant than they know when we see them engaging in unhealthy and superficial behaviors to cloak their flaws with cosmetics. Let us see your natural beauty and vitality!
