As the World Turns…as The Lymph Moves!
It’s not really a soap opera or a geological marvel of our planet revolving in its orbit; it’s a reference to the relative importance of adequate lymphatic circulation! It is imperative to a healthy Lifestyle that the lymphatic fluid circulates through the vessels without stagnation or impedance. Move it…and keep it moving smoothly and “fluidly”.
Physical movement is the natural mechanism for this process. Massage, exercise, rebounding, dancing, walking, swimming, and other types of activities assist in the circulation of the lymph. If it doesn’t come naturally to you to move constantly throughout the day (sitting in an office chair for extended periods of time); then it is very, VERY important for you to make accommodations for insuring that you make an effort to do some type of action that gets it moving.
Tapotement, stretching, or any type of movement that uses the muscles of the body to contract will help to propel the lymph along the vessels to enable the lymph to carry on its valued work. So…don’t hesitate, don’t vegetate, don’t stagnate…Move It!
