You Are What You Absorb!

So much attention has been directed to the original adage, “You Are What You Eat” that the truth has been overshadowed for decades: “You Are What You Absorb”!

Absorption is the key!

If you ingest a nutritional supplement, but it is coated with shellac and it goes through the entire digestive system only to be eliminated still in its tablet form shape…

What good does it do you to spend money on supplements and then you discover that your body isn’t absorbing it? What good does drinking milk (that has been homogenized, irradiated, pasteurized, and altered to become a man-made substance instead of a whole food) do when your body doesn’t readily digest it. What good do some calcium tablets from inferior manufacturers do when you think you are strengthening your bones, but in all actuality, the tablet is causing irregular heartbeats and palpitation that is distressing for the heart muscle and conduction system?

It is ridiculous! It is unnecessary, too.

The concept of “cell delivery systems” has only recently become an important consideration in building a better product. Assimilation and absorption is truly the “bottom line” for manufacturers of nutritional supplements who actually care about their consumers. You want the cells to be the recipients of the nutrients which are now being designed to reach their intended targets.

You get what you pay for…you become what you absorb.

Many people will eventually recognize that they could get more calcium from eating a raw carrot than a gallon of milk. Most people have yet to realize that taking liquid mineral supplementation is vastly superior to tablets. Liquid minerals are especially effective when they are in an “ionic”, not a colloidal form. If the colloid molecules are too large, they cannot be utilized. So not all liquid supplements are the same…far from it!

You also have to take into consideration all of the co-factors that need to be present with major minerals and vitamins to be metabolized by the body and used in biochemical reactions. You may be familiar with this concept of amino acids being supplied in sufficient quantity and variety to be built into proteins. There are many, many, many co-factors that are similar in that regard for vitamins, minerals, phytochemicals, and other types of nutrients and substances in the body, including large macro-molecules like neurotransmitters, hormones, and enzymes.

When you eat whole foods, these substances occur naturally together…and your body has exactly what it needs to utilize the nutrients. Science is far too limited to have the knowledge of how to duplicate these individual components in supplements or single nutrient products. It is a silly notion to think that science has discovered all the vital relationships and ratios between co-factors to duplicate their intricacies in a supplement, although they try their best – it has yet to be “equal” to Nature’s Designer Foods – whole and balanced!

You are what you eat and absorb…so eat whole foods and take only superior supplements that give you complete and balanced nutrition.
