Those Who Sleep: It’s Time to Wake Up Refreshed and Reinvigorated Again

Most people don’t get enough sleep to consider themselves to be completely rested and ready for the next day. Often – people rely upon coffee or other artificial stimulants to get going and feel awake enough to tackle the demands of the day.

Wake up refreshed.

First, it’s a good idea to be in bed and falling asleep by 10:00 p.m. at night, even earlier if you have to start your day before 8:00 a.m.. Turn off the television, turn off your phone, turn off the computer, and turn off the lights in your bedroom. Your brain’s biochemistry cannot produce sufficient melatonin needed for deep sleep when there is light or noise serving to distract or disturb you at night when you are supposed to go inside to recharge your body and mind.

Secondly, do not drink excessive liquids past 5:00 p.m. which result in your bladder waking you up in the middle of the night. It’s one thing to sip water or one glass of organic red wine in the evening; but do not guzzle a bunch of soda, dairy beverages, or coffee that will force your body to eliminate excess fluids in the middle of the night.

Thirdly, try to eat an early dinner and finish snacking by 7:00 p.m. unless you go to a movie or during the holidays when heavy meals and libations are a celebratory pleasure with family, friends, and partners. Eat your primary meal at lunch time. Then eat nutrient-rich snacks in the late afternoon or early evening to provide minerals, protein, and other nutrients for your body’s cycle of repair and rejuvenation during sleep.

Fourth, drink beverages in the early evening that are known to relax and mellow you out. Chamomile tea is a perfect example of an evening beverage. If you must have warm milk, make it an alternative milk or find a beverage that is rich in tryptophan. Chocolate soy milk or oat milk with hazel nuts are both excellent choices. If you must snack on a sandwich; then turkey will provide the components needed to produce tryptophan for melatonin to help you sleep and seratonin upon awakening to start your day.

Fifth, hold your attention while going to sleep on what you wish to dream about and how your want your body to heal while you sleep. Focus on what has brought you gratitude and joy that day and plan your day for when you wake up feeling refreshed and reinvigorated after a deep and restful sleep. Your subconscious mind is a powerful tool for healing the body while you sleep when you consciously give the mind directions and instructions. Speak to your subconscious mind by using imagery – give your mind the ideal that you wish to embody upon awakening and living the next day with enthusiasm.

Sixth, you can use wellness solutions like Essential Oils, copper pillows, special cotton or wool mattresses, magnetic blankets, subliminal tapes, specific frequency rates, and yoga to improve and enhance your sleep. We’ll discuss this in greater detail in the future.

With restful sleep and a healthy lifestyle; you can spend your sleeping hours in a profoundly productive manner – with the ways that refresh and rejuvenate you so that you can live every day (and night) to the fullest!
