Above the Fruited Plain…

Eat Fruit with other Fruits. It is a simple rule to remember. Fruit is to be eaten alone with its brothers and sisters…fruit juices and fellow fruits. The plain and simple truth is scientifically based on enzymatic function and chemical interactions. Fruit goes with…fruit!

It may go against the traditional breakfast regime…orange juice paired with a bowl of cereal soaked with milk and a side order of toast with jelly or jam. Forget About It!

If you want to eat cereal or toast with milk…leave out the juice and the jelly. Spread a lovely soy butter substitute or real creamery butter from a cow you know personally…on that slice of toast. It will take some “getting used to” on your part, but you will be happily surprised with the settled-tummy feeling for hours and hours after breakfast.

For myself…I love to eat fruit alone in the morning to “break my Fast” from the time of my last meal the day before. Oranges, tangerines, and grapefruit sections drizzled with a fruit juice glaze is so satisfying. A ripe banana with a spritz of cinnamon sugar makes me really happy! A lovely array of varied colors in a fruit salad with berries, kiwi, and peaches with plums knocks my socks off – and if I want it soft I add a banana or grapes and let it rest for an hour in the frig before leaping into these yummy bites of sweet heaven on earth – above the Fruited Plain!

Juice, Jam, Jelly, or the jingle jangle of a delectable fruit salad – Eat Fruit Plain when in the healthy state of a beautiful America.
