Some people who have been living under a rock have never truly lived until they have eaten sushi prepared properly and accompanied by wasabe, pickled ginger root, and tamari.

The sushi rice is wonderful, too, with vinegar and a touch of sweetness. There’s the perfect balance of fish, vegetable, greens, and spice to please the palate. The varieties are endless, although we have our favorites.

The pickled ginger root aids in digestion, the wasabe is warming and stimulating. The sheer elegance of the art is a tradition steeped in mystery and mastery.

There is a legend that aliens from another world introduced the Japanese to the fine art of making sushi. It doesn’t surprise me at all…

The benevolent races gave us the knowledge to make red wine, chocolate, coffee, and use tobacco according to some sources.
