Sitting at the Computer…Putter!

You need to PUTTER…if you are spending more than one hour at a time sitting at the computer! Putter with your feet, toes, ankles, knees, hips, elbows, shoulders, neck, wrists, and fingers…

Putter around…stretch…flex…rotate…extend…flick…bend…arch…just move all those appendages and joints!

The circulation of the lymphatic fluid, synovial fluid, cerebrospinal fluid, and blood…is so very important and depends upon “movement” of the body to occur continuously. In the ‘old days’, humans moved constantly – gathering food and firewood, water and other daily essentials just to survive. Today, we shop online, go to social networking sites, send email, order ‘to go’, and find more time spent sitting at the computer to ‘work’ or ‘play’ with virtually no movement of the large muscles of the body for long periods of time.

So…compensate with small movements. Move every few minutes. You will feel much better and less fatigued over the course of the day. Your long-term Health depends upon this continuous activity! Putter around!
