While driving in your own vehicle, you will probably be aware of local places to stop to grab a healthy snack or beverage, if you don’t take something with you. If you do find yourself in unfamiliar territory, do some advance searching online for places that will meet your healthy expectations while in the new area.
Many places have deli selections or can prepare a quick bit to eat while you find a few other items in the store. The staff can make recommendations and frequently know what’s best and what to avoid. If you find that it is going to take some extra time to get some reinforcements before getting back on the road again, call anyone who is expecting you for an appointment or at home. Let them know that your timetable has changed, since you are smart enough to give yourself the best care possible while in transit!
