Oprah is Leaving in 2011: What Does it Mean for Daytime TV and You?

If you know and love Oprah; then you will already have heard that she announced her departure from her current TV Network for late in 2011 marking her 25th year on daytime TV.

We watch her frequently and found Dr. Oz and Rachael Ray to be excellent spin-offs from their appearances and associations with Oprah. Oprah has brought more issues to the table and shared more heart and soul than most other television talent over the last couple of decades than many people could ever dream of doing with an impressive marketshare of sincere people comprising her audience.

I think she is doing the smart thing to have her own cable network show, if that is what she ends up doing in the future. You and I will definitely follow her to her new home. She will continue to bring important issues to anything she does for her following, no matter where or when she moves her edifice.

Oprah took a stand with the imbeciles in Texas behind the Mad Cow and Beef Safety issue long ago. I was proud of her then…to bring a lot of painful truth to people who would want an industry to be transparent, especially when it comes to their food supply and their health. Now…years later, it is obvious that Oprah made a good point to take into consideration the safety of the beef you eat. Those pesky little prions have even invaded the wilds where the antelope, fish, dear, and elk roam. There are even squirrel populations in neighborhood parks which are showing the prions which can affect humans.

She’s done a real service for her audience and for the daytime TV scene in general. It won’t be the same without her, but it will be better because she has devoted 25 years of her life to you and me.

She was bold to have Eckhart Tolle in front of her Christian audience, but everyone found common ground and isn’t that the christ-like thing to do? She was warned about the people of the Secret, but she and those who participated are changing lives and it is an inspiration for millions to know that they ‘create their day’ and ‘design their life’.

She’s brought people to tears with the wretched and the weird situations that they have encountered in their lives. She has salvaged many people through her generosity and given them a reason to be grateful when she or her associates gave them something that changed the course of their paths. We have much to celebrate and nothing to lose with Oprah’s decision.

Count your Blessings and know that your life is enriched by people like Oprah in your circle! The butterfly’s wing wafted in the breeze and Oprah spoke and all of our lives changed for the better.

It’s all good News!

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. If Oprah ever really wants to learn what it takes to get her back into a state of Balance and Well-Being; then I volunteer to help her lose weight, manage her endocrine system, and restore homeostasis to her body, mind, and soul. She but needs to ask…
