Longevity in Blue Zones Discussed by Martha Stewart!
I was impressed to see the common factors for Longevity being discussed by Martha Stewart and the author of “The Blue Zones” today on a segment of her TV show. There are nine common denominators in these Blue Zone areas that are considered to be essential to the long life of the people.
Red Wine and Tofu are among these common denominators, as are several other healthy foods. These foods include legumes and beans, nuts and seeds, whole grains and plants of every kind. People eat meat and fish and fowl sparingly, but regularly along with their plant-based diet primarily consisting of unprocessed natural foods.
Natural Movement was one of the top factors of the zones, with people walking or doing daily chores with natural movement – instead of extreme exercise! People walk or ride bikes, or herd their sheep as they garden, haul water and wood, and conduct typical chores in their homes and communities.
These people have a purposeful Life. They commonly belong to a spiritual community. They eat and drink wisely and that includes Red Wine and good water.
Calcium seems to be plentiful in the foods that these people consume daily. Calcium is significant and we suggest that you consider liquid Ionic Calcium for supplementation at its finest!
The book appears to be worth reading and many of the factors can be integrated into your Wellness Plan.
