It was a cute advertising slogan many years ago! It made an impression upon me. I had to stop for a minute after seeing it on TV and give it a little thought.
I often wondered what was going on in the Minds of the copywriters. How did they actually view Mother Nature? What did they think when using it to draw attention to their ads?
I do know that in my experience, it does make a difference in the way the human body uses a health product.
I have tested thousands of people and tens of thousands of nutritional products, herbs, foods, pharmaceuticals, and every substance known to man. It is my conclusion that the human body recognizes natural products and rejects synthetic substances, treating them as foreign invaders.
Decades ago…a study was conducted that demonstrated the difference between the body’s absorption of natural Vitamin E and synthetic vitamin E. Even though they are chemically identical, the human body was able to recognize and use the natural Vitamin E. The body did not treat the synthetic vitamin E in the same manner. The human body knew the difference. No amount of marketing can force the body to use a foreign substance in a natural way, regardless of what manufacturers claim.
In other words, the people buying synthetic vitamin E were wasting their money. Furthermore, they were not getting the benefits of supplementation as they had hoped to derive from consuming a nutritional supplement. In fact, they were forcing their body to expend more energy to eliminate the foreign substance that had invaded the body!
