The View: Male Menopause is More of a Matter of Deficiency and Imbalance

A medical expert appeared on The View this week to discuss whether or not men go through the male version of menopause.

Since the menstrual cycle only occurs in women, it is a misnomer to call this condition Male Menopause. It is much more correct to refer to this as a deficiency and an imbalance.

When men expend their chi, one of the systems that is affected is the endocrine system. The Kidney meridian’s energy can also become depleted and the common symptoms of menopause would apply. The deficiency of chi and the expenditure of Jing will deplete the male or the female human body. This is what is responsible for the same symptoms that women experience.

Dealing with deficiencies and imbalance requires a professional to provide the correct herbal formulation and energy work necessary to replenish the body and balance the meridians. Men who are feeling the symptoms associated with menopause need to go to their Acupuncturist and be evaluated to determine the right course of treatment.

Balance can be restored and the deficiencies corrected with whole foods, nutritional supplements, herbal formulations, and a healthy Lifestyle.

Neither men nor women have to settle for anything less than Balance. They can regain what has been lost and enjoy the vitality of youthful exuberance again!
