TheDoctorsTV and the Shake that Satisfies Your Morning Hunger

The physicians on TheDoctorsTV show discussed shaking and prepared a delicious shake that you can drink for your morning breakfast. When you do eat something for breakfast before you start your hectic day; it’s less likely that you’ll start shaking from weakness later in the day, especially when you skip lunch due to a meeting or an extended appointment.

This morning Shake recipe is comprised of yogurt, fresh or frozen raspberries, organic raspberry juice, some dark chocolate, and some walnuts or your favorite nut of choice. The sweetness of the fresh organic fruit is sufficient, but if you use frozen fruit; then you might want to add a dollop of honey or a banana to keep the shake from being too tart.

Dr. Travis suggested that you use the Shake and Go Blender that has a built-in shake container and cover for travel. This is a good idea for the times when you are short on time and you have to rush to work, but don’t want to compromise your health by not eating or drinking something before you drive off to the office. Dr. Travis sprinkles some chopped walnuts to add texture and nutrients to his shake.

There are variations on this theme that you can experiment with occasionally. Try blueberries or strawberries or goji berries for a change. They also have plenty of fiber and nutrients to give you a healthy beginning to your day.
