Laughter: The Best Natural Medicine!

We can find many ways to contribute to a healthy Lifestyle using natural organic foods, nutritional supplements, herbal formulations, massage therapy and Mind/Body/Spirit modalities; but it continues to amaze us that the best natural medicine is Laughter!

Laughter!  it sounds so simple, yet it is far more intricate and complicated than it appears on the surface of the simple concept.

When we are laughing…it’s hard to feel another emotion at odds with the laughter.  When we are looking at a situation from a vantage point that sees the humor in it…it’s hard to be cynical, depressed, or victimized by it.  When we can rumble our entire Being with Laughter; we are closer to being like a Buddha with our bellies bouncing with each uproar!

Laughter has been researched to various degrees.  Some emerging research tells us that our very bio-chemistry is changed when we laugh.  Hormone levels change.  Brain activity is altered.  All the indicators of stress are different.  Laughter has an impact!

Laugh!  Find any reason at all and Laugh to your heart’s content.  Be Contentment!
