Chefs Who Grow Their Own Food: Living Well From the Farm to the Table!
Here it is again on a pleasant Saturday when I get a break from watching the doctors provide health information to their audience which always deserves a comment or two from me. Today I have the pleasure of watching a real chef who doctors the produce from his field in his kitchen to make healthy food for his guests. Chefs A’Field is a good television program that goes into the field and gives you inspiration fresh from the land where your food is grown.
Amaranth and other healthy foods are grown and harvested for restaurant fare at the farm near Seattle. Our featured Chef from Trellis grows food on three acres which he takes to the restaurant to prepare food as flavorful as you’ll find at any public establishment. But the catch is this: This is the healthiest, the freshest, and the most loved of all the foods that you will be able to find when wanting to eat at a local restaurant!
It doesn’t get any better than this!
You can trust the chef who grows and then prepares his own creations from the land. You can trust that the quality of the food and the care that is put into the preparation of this food is equal to the same love and care that you would give.
There’s no more nutritious food than when freshly pulled from the soil or plucked from the places where it is being grown. If it gets to the restaurant, you can be assured that it is as perfect as possible for your health and well-being. People who live this way know how to do things in a way that offers the most health benefits for the fortunate guest who sits at their table and shares the meal.
If you can imagine that what can from the field two hours ago is now being cooked into a delicious dish in the restaurant kitchen; then you can almost smell the aroma of one of the best dishes you’ve ever eaten out on the town! This is healthy food. This is beautiful food. This is what we live for! This food gives us the best it can offer from the soil and the sun and the earth’s gift to us.
Chefs who grow their own food typically are creative and will deliver dishes in their restaurants that are imaginative, unique, and pleasing to the palate. You will usually find that the fresh produce and other ingredients will satisfy your taste buds as well as giving your body the nutrients that are rich when the food is so fresh. The herbs are freshly picked, the artichokes are the perfect texture, and the salmon makes you realize that the Pacific Northwest is one of the best places to live on the planet!
Ahhhh…
Life is good. Food is fantastic. This Way of Life is admirable. From the Farm to the Table – this is LIVING WELL!
