Warming Your Body Inside and Out When the Weather Changes
It’s definitely Fall here where we have had chilly nights and drizzling rain for days. So…when you feel the cooler evening temperatures making you shiver a little and wonder how to warm up your body easily and without too much effort, here are a few ideas to warm you on both the inside and outside .
Keep a nice organic cotton blanket near your couch or by your bed to slip over your legs or on your shoulders when you feel the chill of the night.
A soft and cozy sweater that is light, yet woven with natural materials will keep you comfortable without having to put on heavier items, even if you need to go out for awhile in the cooler evening air.
By far the best way to warm up is to sip on some herbal tea or some organic Chai to warm the interior of the body and make you feel warm inside and out.
Ginger Root tea is very warming and is best when you sweeten it with honey and squeeze a little lemon juice into the brew. It will warm your entire body and aid digestion equally well.
Organic Chai has some warming spices like clove and cinnamon in the recipe which are natural ways to warm thwe body from within. Chai is delicious when hot and is better than coffee to make your evening brew flavorful without overstimulating the adrenals.
Enjoy these teas and the Chai on any cool evening…or start your day with either of these drinks to warm up your metabolic engines!
