TheDoctorsTV and their Famous PMS Smoothie: Does it Do the Job with Culture?

This episode of TheDoctorsTV show is a popular repeat with the now famous PMS Smoothie. It’s the recipe that evolved from a ten year study done to determine if these natural ingredients might reduce or resolve some of the symptoms associated with PMS.

PMS is NOT fun, it’s not pretty, and both women and the men who want to love them are seeking any way to help!

I had to laugh as Dr. Drew threw a loud HOORAY! into the discussion, Dr. Jim sighed with relief, and Dr. Lisa explained how the study found that some basic foods that are high in calcium magnesium, and vitamin C showed promise in the study.

The PMS Smoothie is all natural and designed to deliver nutrients to the body in a delicious drink that tastes good enough to make the day seem better…

Strawberries, yogurt, oranges or orange juice, molasses, and a banana. It’s a simple recipe that you just blend together. If you want it to be frothy and cool; then freeze the banana and the strawberries. There’s nothing more to it than that…

Personally, I do not blend yogurt with fruit, unless the yogurt is made from coconut milk. If you want an alternative source of calcium, then carrot juice or a soy powder will suffice.

It’s the minerals that make the difference. The human body uses minerals extensively for balancing both the function of vital organs and systems as well as repairing the tissues of these systems. Without sufficient minerals and other nutrients, the body goes further out of balance and a person experiences symptoms like bloating, cravings, anxiety, mood swings, and tension at many levels including emotional and psychological stress. This can make relationships appear more fragile than they appear… LOL

Whatever it takes, we suggest that you include your root vegetables, dark leafy greens, sea vegetables, salads, seeds, and nuts. Fresh organic produce is essential…your attitude will show this to be the case! Be sure to get your beans and soy, along with your sleep.

Balance is the key…

PMS will fade into a fuzzy memory and your monthly cycle will become normal as will your ‘peace of mind’.
