TheDoctorsTV and Lactose Intolerance, Rhubarb in a Smoothie, and the Decision to Fix What’s Not Really Broken

Doctors love to work on the human body, sometimes when the patient doesn’t even need the surgery or procedure. Doctors love to fix what’s not really broken…for a fee.

I am NOT a proponent of cosmetic surgery for uneven breasts or bulging belllies or sagging jowels. I have seen the human body restore itself using all natural and non-invasive means. So that’s always been my personal preference and professional recommendation. But there are lazy and rich people around who can afford this work, but cannot afford to change their Lifestyles. So it’s still an option for them.

If women like Doris feel better about their bodies after they have surgical procedures to alter their tummies or like the woman who wanted both of her breasts to be relatively the same size, so she wouldn’t be self-conscious at the beach; then there are going to be doctors who will do these procedures. Very few doctors know enough about the bio-energetic field to realize that anytime they use the knife or scalpel, they weaken the bio-energetic field of their patients. This can have a profound and lasting effect on the general health of the individual, so take this into consideration before you make the appointment! It is is not life-threatening, then why would you really want to fix what’s not broken?

Vanity? The chance to be more appealing to members of the other sex? Well, whatever your reason, just realize that you will want to adopt a healthier Lifestyle, so you don’t re-create the same conditions that resulted in your original shape – it will happen all over again without making changes in your daily routine, food choices, and amount of exercise.

Even Dr. Oz is telling his audience to change from animal fats to healthier oils like coconut oil, nut or seed oils for reducing belly fat on his show today.

The physicians discussed the test for Lactose Intolerance to dairy products like milk and cheese. If your body is not producing lactase which is the enzyme that metabolizes the lactose sugars in these foods; then you must either avoid and eliminate dairy products from your diet or regenerate your body’s ability to build enzymes. You can do both…

You may not know that there are yogurts, milks, ice creams, and cheeses that are made without dairy products. These alternatives are made with soy or rice or some other less-allergenic ingredients as their base…like coconut milk for yogurt. If the doctors actually shopped at Whole Foods Markets, they would have been able to advise you to look for these healthy and good tasting alternatives.

I thought it was unfortunate that Dr. Lisa did not take a moment to explain to the audience that they should cook the rhubarb before blending it with strawberries and yogurt to make a fruit Smoothie. Rhubarb can be toxic, because it is a member of the nightshade family. It needs to be cooked for quite a long time with a lot of natural sweeteners added to keep it from being so bitter and to keep it from causing gastric distress. But I never get the impression that these doctors spend that much time in their kitchens. One of the first fruit pies that I learned how to prepare was a Rhubarb-Strawberry pie and the combination is an old favorite; but all good cooks know that the rhubarb must be cooked properly!
