The passengers and crew that sat next to and breathed the same air as the irresponsible lawyer with drug-resistant TB will have to wait weeks and months to truly know that they are either infected or free of TB. Only Time will Tell!

But…I will tell you this much: the father-in-law who is a CDC expert on TB should have done his duty as both relative and TB specialist to discuss the ramifications of exposure of the public as a huge and unnecessary risk. The lawyer’s law degree and training should also have reinforced a decision NOT to put the public at risk! Both should reimburse taxpayers and people who have been affected by this fiasco.
