Tap, Tap, Tapping on Heaven’s Door!
Many people are more sedentary than ever before, getting less and less physical movement regularly. It’s not just exercise or working out…it is basic movement of the body. It is more challenging for people to walk and stretch daily. The result is lethargy and sluggishness, including the poor circulation of body fluids.
One simple solution is tapotement. It is the action of cupping to displace air when tapping the hands on the back over the lungs. This encourages circulation of lymphatic fluid. In addition to keeping the lungs clear, it helps with one’s energy level.
Another attempt at humor and a nudge to give you something to think about and explore…is the idea of massaging the acupressure point for “heaven’s gate or door”. This action draws energy from one’s personal field (from the interior band) and directs it into the physical body as a short-term support for the energy needs of the body. It is not to be abused, and is to be utilized occasionally.
