Superfoods and World Health Secrets: When You Love Your Food and Walk the Table Talk of Health

There are dozens of people who offer advice about nutrition, health, wellness, and medical information to audiences through TV, books, magazines, stores, and online Net resources.

Who is ‘walking the talk’ by bringing whole foods and healing products to the table? Who You Gonna Call? Mythbusters…

The ghosts of good television like Dr. Oz and his so-called experts can drive a person to drink an organic fresh fruit Smoothie! I watched the guy who has ‘listeners’ talk about his 7 Day Energy Surge plan to turn around the sluggish housewife, career woman, and average citizen within a week without chemical intervention.

Then this dude proceeds to talk about ‘chemical intervention’ his way with Tyrosine and Magnesium supplementation. My Lord, the hypocrisy! Is he deluded or just an ego-maniac who is showing ‘cognitive dissonance’? I fear the latter…

Dr. Oz and his guest berated the audience member for drinking coffee to deal with her fatigue and sluggishness, but then performed the comparable error in judgment by recommending an isolated amino acid and one single mineral. This is so irresponsible, it is shocking to me that the producers missed this glaring problem with the content!

Dr. Oz and the 7 Day Energy Surge Plan

While I have not read the book, I ‘listened’ to Jim speak on the Doctor Oz show today. He offered a minimal breathing technique that he suggested that people use upon awakening in the morning. That was hardly enough to oxygenate the blood! You could get more oxygen circulating in your red blood cells by taking an ounce of Liquid Ionic Germanium! However, if you think that there is fresh air saturated with oxygen in a polluted city, then think again. Moving is your only answer there to live in rural areas where there is fresh air to breathe.

You cannot legitimately turn around bio-energetic or metabolic deficiencies that cause fatigue in seven days. This is unrealistic and it’s more of a marketing ploy by a guy who studied business before he had ‘listeners’ and wrote a book as a personal trainer.

Dr. Oz would have served his audience and honored the promise he made to Oprah by bringing on a master of Tai Chi. He could have brought an Acupuncturist who specializes in herbal formulas and whole foods to benefit the audience who relies upon him for their health information. It’s a true disservice that Dr. Oz is doing more often than not… His show needs to be revamped. He needs more than ratings derived from surgery on TV with Jimmy Fallon and game show antics that leave us cold and disappointed in him.

You can count on us to bring you better information. For instance, instead of a single amino acid or a single Magnesium supplement, go and learn about Superfoods and whole foods that have been used by intelligent people around the world for thousands of years:
