Daytime TV and Earth Day: Who Celebrated, Who Forgot, and What Are You Doing for the Planet Today and Every Day?
This is the moment when you have to ask yourself what you are doing for the planet today and every day as we watch so many Daytime TV programs and famous people celebrate Earth Day!
Since 1970, we have been giving one major day every year the well-deserved attention that the earth should be given all the time. Earth Day should be honored each day by all inhabitants thereof. It’s your only home while you’re away from home…
It’s not like there another inhabitable planet that is within easy reach right now. No, this is the only place that you’ve got to play out your dramas and evolve in the physical form.
While there is Life after Death or the ending of the physical body, there is no better stage to gain experience upon that in the form of matter. What you see in your Life is what you’ve been thinking, feeling, and defining you. It’s right before your eyes with no mistaking it for some other illusion or someone else’s dream. This is you and you are what you are. You are both divine and the image that the personality has thought into being… What do you see standing before you?
Are you in harmony with Nature? Are you in alignment with the planet that is your home? Are you living well here? Only you can make that determination and any changes necessary to find that innate balance.
Earth Day is a time to reflect upon the choices you make daily and decide if it supports the environment or detracts from it. Of, course, we are going to encourage you to live in harmony with your environment and with all living beings.
Ellen Degeneres gave me a reason to watch her TV show today. She welcomed Earth Day and Gwyneth Paltrow with song and silliness. The guys from Glee sang and the audience got a lot of free goodies that anyone who cares about the earth would love to accept just for being on the set today. I know that I would have loved to be gifted with these items.
The other TV programs had segments about Earth Day. Mario Batali got to cook with wild things and pasta. Rocco DiSpirito got to cook with Rachael Ray. Martha Stewart did her share for Earth Day and that nifty App with the dives and the fish made me feel GREEN with LOVE for the ocean life that is so spectacular and beautiful.
It all comes down to what each of us do every day that really matters. If you live your Life as if all Life matters; then you have earned my respect!
Be well while you dwell on this remarkable planet…
